Keito shook his head, looking puzzled. "Don't you feel the need to have a teacher or mentor?" Keito asked, with a tone of doubt yet curiosity.

Reiji shrugged, a hint of arrogance evident on his face.

"A teacher? You mean people who don't even understand the basics of Fuinjutsu?" Reiji said, filled with a confidence that bordered on arrogance.

Keito fell silent, his lips twitching slightly. There was admiration, but also shock at Reiji's arrogance.

Reiji knew very well that this kid was indeed talented, but Reiji's haughty attitude was also something that couldn't be ignored.

Even so, Keito couldn't help but smile.

Behind that arrogance, Keito saw great potential—a power that could become an invaluable asset to their clan.

"Alright, Reiji," Keito finally said, patting the young man's shoulder. "If you're willing to bear all the consequences, I will agree to your terms."

Reiji merely smiled faintly, nodding slightly. "I won't disappoint you, Clan Head," Reiji said.

"Alright, tomorrow I will send all the books you need. You can start your studies right away," Keito said while observing Reiji's face, which was glowing with anticipation.

"Not a problem. Then, I will take my leave, Clan Head," Reiji said while saluting, then turned and began to walk away, his voice full of confidence.

Keito nodded calmly. "Of course, do your best, Reiji."

As Reiji disappeared behind the trees, Keito turned to gaze at the lake in front of him.

Small waves on the water's surface reflected the fading afternoon sunlight.

Suddenly, without a sound, a figure in a black cloak with a white mask appeared beside him, kneeling in a posture of full respect.

This figure was one of Keito's trusted Anbu.

"What are your orders, Clan Head?" the Anbu asked in a low, cold voice, devoid of any emotional tone.

Keito stared at the lake for a moment, as if weighing his decision. "Starting tomorrow, you will monitor Reiji from the shadows."

"Watch his every move, and ensure Reiji is safe during his Fuinjutsu training."

"That boy is extraordinarily talented, a genius in Fuinjutsu."

"However, wisdom and caution are still far from Reiji." Keito let out a small sigh, looking worried. "If Reiji faces danger, assist him, but do not let your presence be known."

The Anbu nodded, their eyes still fixed on the ground. "Understood, Clan Head," the Anbu replied firmly.

"Good, go." Keito signaled with a nod, and in an instant, the Anbu vanished silently, leaving Keito alone at the edge of the lake.

Keito gazed into the distance, his thoughts beginning to fill with visions of his village's future.

In truth, Keito had not planned to meet Reiji this soon.
