"How dare you lay a hand on my mother!"

Ye Tian emerged from his resting room, grateful that the Great Restoration Technique hadn't taken as long as he had initially feared.

If he had been just a few minutes slower, his mother might have been beaten right in front of him.

Just thinking about it made his blood boil.

"Speak! Who are you? And how dare you try to lay your hand on my mother!" he shouted.

"Could it be that you're tired of living?"

Struggling to maintain his composure, Ye Tian ignored the stunned gazes of the doctors and hospital staff around him as he slowly approached Chen Fan.

With each of Ye Tian's steps, the sound echoed throughout the hospital, resonating with the heartbeat of everyone present.

The entire hospital fell into an eerie silence; all eyes were fixed on Ye Tian and Chen Fan.

Cough, cough!

"How dare you hit me! Do you know who I am?" Chen Fan wheezed from the ground. Despite his fear, he tried to maintain his arrogance.

After all, he was Chen Fan, the son of the owner of the largest hospital in Dragon City.

Even if he wasn't among the top echelon of the city's elite, he considered himself far above ordinary people.

Being punched by Ye Tian and falling in front of everyone's eyes was a humiliation he couldn't stand.

Had it not been for the oppressive aura that Ye Tian was emitting, he would have already started issuing threats against Ye Tian and his family.

Unfortunately, just the intensity of Ye Tian's gaze sent a chill down his spine, paralyzing him with fear and preventing him from meeting Ye Tian's eyes.

Ye Tian's voice boomed, snapping Chen Fan out of his shocked stupor.

"That isn't what I asked you!" Ye Tian growled.

"I asked how and why you dared lay a hand on my mother!"

Crack!

Ye Tian's foot came down hard on Chen Fan's knee, instantly crushing his kneecap and twisting his leg into an unnatural angle.

"Arghhhh! My leg!" Chen Fan screamed in agony, unable to comprehend what he had done to deserve this. What had he done wrong?

Isn't it normal for pariahs to take a good beating like the commoners they are? Why did this one suddenly decide to revolt?

n the shocked and confused gazes of everyone in the hospital, Ye Tian lifted Chen Fan off the ground with one hand, his grip tightening around his neck and cutting off his screams.

"Forget it," Ye Tian sneered. "In your next life, try not to offend me."

His pupils unknowingly turned crimson, and streaks of red appeared in his hair, Ye Tian began to squeeze, ready to snap Chen Fan's neck.

But just as he was about to finish the job, a familiar voice broke through his rage, instantly drawing his attention.

"Brother! You're okay!" a joyful voice called out.

A beautiful black-haired girl, followed closely by a middle-aged man, came running toward him.

Ye Tian's hands hearing this voice suddenly trembled, the red in his pupils and hair fading as he snapped back to reality.

"Dad! Sister!" he exclaimed.

Dropping the unconscious Chen Fan, Ye Tian turned to face the family he had longed to see for so many years.

"Mom, Dad, Sister! I'm alright!" he cried, tears welling up in his eyes.

Though he knew his return to Blue Star had been successful, seeing them all together assured him that he was not dreaming. He was truly back!

[Inside the Hospital Ward]

Time passed, and with Ye Tian no longer attacking Chen Fan, the hospital staff sighed in relief.

While many of them disliked Chen Fan for his behavior, they knew that if the owner's son were killed or seriously injured in their presence, their jobs would be at risk.

In the ward where Ye Tian had just emerged, he sat with his mother, father, sister, and one of the hospital directors, discussing the situation.

"I'm really sorry, ma'am. No one expected the owner's son to cause such a commotion," the director said, bowing in apology. "Thankfully, you didn't get hurt."

Noticing the man's sincere demeanor, Ye Tian raised an eyebrow.

Oh? He seems genuinely sorry. Not everyone in this hospital is bad after all. 

Glancing at the director's name tag, he thought to himself, Dr. Lan, is it? I'll remember that name.

In fact, if he wasn't sincere, Ye Tian would have easily been able to tell as he who had used the great resurrection technique was much more sensitive and stronger than a regular blue star human

For it was because of that, that Ye Tian felt that this hospital might not be all that bad. At least there seemed to be some good people here.

As for Chen Fan, Ye Tian felt indifferent. If he didn't retaliate, fine. If he did, Ye Tian didn't mind taking his first life after returning.

Damn! What is wrong with me? Ye Tian thought, holding his head as he tried to restrain his violent impulses. Could there still be some side effects from my time as the Heavenly Demon?

Unknowingly, his pupils had begun to turn red again, though no one seemed to notice as they were all engrossed in the current conversation.

Looking at Ye Tian's mother, Li Mei, with a puzzled expression, Dr. Lan spoke up, "Mrs. Ye, if you don't mind me asking, according to this report, your son was supposed to be dead."

He glanced over at Ye Tian. "Obviously, he's not, and from the punch he delivered to Young Master Chen, he's much stronger than a regular person, much less someone who just finished surgery. Do you have any idea what's going on?"

Reading the report he had collected from the front desk before coming here, Dr Lan couldn't help but be confused

In fact, he wasn't the only one who was confused that Li Mei his mum who was also told her son was dead couldn't help but be confused

So hearing this question, all eyes turned toward Ye Tian.
