Chapter 18: Chapter 18: Monica Bellucci

"Well done, Miss Karas. Now, please try reading a line from the script and interpret it according to your understanding."
After the woman in front of him finished performing based on the script excerpt, Milo said.
He gestured, and a staff member immediately brought over the prepared script.
The actress surnamed Karas was slightly uneasy. After sitting down, she took a few deep breaths and picked up the script.
"Where is this?" "What? MJ likes this place too, it's impossible!" "Go to the amusement park, no, I don't like it." "Come on, don't be so rigid." "Fine, whose fist is bigger?" "..."
After a few lines of dialogue, Milo stroked his chin and pondered for a moment, then nodded to her. "Thank you, Miss Karas, very good. That will be all for now."
"Yes, sir." Karas seemed to want to say something but ultimately turned and left.
As soon as she left, Wendy couldn't help but say, "She has a great figure. Aren't you going to keep her?"
"I'm looking for a leading lady and a supporting actress, not someone to have dinner with tonight."
Milo raised an eyebrow and looked at the fat man, saying, "I want someone who's suitable."
Wendy mumbled something, but no one else knew what he was saying.
"Next."
Milo took the last file on the table and looked at the black-haired woman walking in from the door.
The woman looked about 28 or 29 years old, standing at around 5 feet 6 inches tall. She was wearing a simple long-sleeved white shirt and a dark knee-length skirt, with her long, dark, shiny hair flowing down her shoulders.
Although she didn't look particularly beautiful at first glance, she exuded a natural sensuality. Coupled with her curvaceous figure, she was incredibly alluring.
No wonder she could still become popular at the age of 36 with the role of "Malèna."
Milo narrowed his eyes and calmly asked, "Please sit down, Miss Monica Bellucci."
"Thank you, Mr. Blackburn."
Monica smiled and sat down gracefully in the chair. She turned her head slightly and reached up to tuck her hair behind her ear. The movement was natural but incredibly seductive.
"If you don't mind, can we start?"
Milo asked indifferently.
"Of course, I'm here to do as you say."
Monica sat with her legs crossed and her hands resting on her lap, appearing quite demure. Yet, she was wearing sheer black stockings on her long legs, which added a touch of contradiction and allure, making her quite captivating.
Milo raised an eyebrow.
He thought she was very perceptive. Compared to her, Zeta Jones was much greener.
Like the other actresses who auditioned, the Italian beauty's audition followed the same same process. She first performed a physical action and then read a line.
However, Milo had made a temporary change to the physical performance he had arranged for Monica. Originally, he wanted her to roll on the ground and pretend to dodge. But now he chose to have Monica do a swing dance.
There wouldn't be this scene or shot in the movie. He simply thought that Monica's outfit today would be perfect for such a dance.
Like the other actresses, Monica was clearly eager for the opportunity. Although no one was dancing with her, and she didn't seem to have danced this kind of dance before, she performed with all her heart.
It had to be admitted that when her curvaceous figure started to sway, she was incredibly captivating.
Especially when she swayed from side to side, it was like a tsunami. Not only did the few assistants keep glancing at her, but Milo couldn't help but keep his eyes on her.
She's truly a stunner! he thought to himself.
Although Monica's appearance wasn't striking at first glance, her unique charm became apparent upon closer inspection.
Especially those sexy and seductive red lips, combined with her alluring figure, it was hard for any man not to be tempted.
"That's enough. Miss Bellucci, you did a great job."
After she finished performing, Milo spoke. "But I have to say, your temperament and image don't quite fit the female lead I have in mind for this film."
A clear look of disappointment washed over Monica's face. Her seductive face looked so pitiful, it was easy for men to feel protective of her.
"But I think you might be more suitable for the second most important female role. Would you be interested?"
Monica was stunned for a second or two before a happy smile appeared on her beautiful face:
"Oh, that's incredible. Of course, I'd love to!"
A role in a $60 million blockbuster.
With her current status in Hollywood, she would even be willing to be an extra.
Let alone a major supporting role.
"Good."
Milo remained calm and gestured to David behind him, "This is my business card. There will be a second audition later. As long as there are no problems, the female supporting role is yours."
After he finished speaking, Wendy and the assistant director, Wally Pfister, along with several staff members, couldn't help but look at him.
Since the beginning of the audition, she was the first person Milo had personally handed a business card to.
And during the audition process, there had never been a practice of handing out business cards.
Saying that she would participate in a second audition but giving her a business card.
Wasn't this a clear hint for her to call him?
Milo's actions had a very strong implication.
However...
From a man's perspective, Wally Pfister thought it was perfectly normal for Milo to be attracted to her.
The Italian woman in front of him was simply too alluring.
"Okay."
Taking the business card handed to her by the bodyguard, a smile appeared on Monica's beautiful face.
It seemed like she couldn't tell the subtle implication.
But that was impossible.
Just think about her nationality, think about her profession before acting, and think about her many sensual films in the future.
Just thinking about these things, it was easy to know that Monica would definitely understand the rules of Hollywood and would not resist.
After she left, Wendy whispered, "Now I understand why you didn't choose that Karas girl. It turns out there was someone better."
Milo ignored him, stood up, stretched, and said to the assistant director and several staff members, "That's all for today. We'll tentatively cast Catherine Zeta-Jones as the female lead. You guys are in charge of selecting the supporting actors and actresses. As for the male lead, I need to think about it some more."
Wally Pfister nodded as a representative, then watched as the boss, the general manager, and the bodyguards walked out.
In the car back to Beverly Hills, Wendy had a strange expression on his face as he kept looking at Milo, who was napping, seeming hesitant to speak but unable to hold it in. "You really surprised me today."
"Oh, why is that? Do you think I'm being too serious for my usual self?" Milo didn't open his eyes, but the corners of his lips curled up slightly as he chuckled softly.
"Yes, casting... You've done it as a film owner and investor before, but before you would just directly give out hotel names and room numbers. Today... it seems like you're really trying to find the right actors, you look like you're actually trying to be a director."
Wendy still looked incredulous, "But... you majored in theology in college, you've never been a director."
"So what? Our dear Ronald Wilson majored in economics in college. But after graduation, he became a broadcaster, then an actor, and then worked for the whole of America."
"And our current president, he majored in diplomacy, but he never became a diplomat. He was working for a senator before he graduated."
"And my father, he graduated from Harvard Divinity School just like me. But neither of us became pastors, and now he's a congressman."
Milo kept his eyes closed, his voice echoing quietly in the car,
"People grow up, and I've grown up. So it's all very reasonable, don't you think, Wendy?"
Wendy opened his mouth slightly, looking shocked, and after a long time, he managed to squeeze out a sentence, "Okay, you make sense."
