Leaving Li Ruo's office, Ye Chen had a look of dejection on his face; he hadn't anticipated running into such a melodramatic situation. He was supposed to be an interviewer, yet in the blink of an eye, he had become the subordinate of his own boss's boss. "Damn it," he thought, "this is really running into bad luck." Heading down from the twentieth floor, he went straight to the security department.

Just as he entered the security department, he saw Fatty, who had tested their IQs before, scolding several security guards in black shirts. His collar was yanked open, revealing two unbuttoned buttons, as he ranted and sprayed, while several guards hung their heads, secretly wiping their faces...

"You bunch of good-for-nothings, can't even handle this simple task!"

"What's the use of paying you?"

"Damn it!"

Fatty roared in anger. Ye Chen walked in, puzzled, and Fatty immediately noticed him, looked up with a fierce face, and asked, "What do you want? Which department are you from?"

"Uh..." Ye Chen was stunned, then quickly flashed a grin, took out a pack of premium Red Double Happiness cigarettes from his pocket, and offered one, saying, "Fatty, here, have one to cool down!"

Hearing that, the security guards hurriedly shoved each other and ran out, disappearing in a flash. Fatty grinned at Ye Chen, saying, "You're quite capable, huh? So, it was you who put those chaps in the hospital?"

Ye Chen was startled, realizing he had apparently put those guys in the hospital? It seemed he didn't even know that had happened. Looks like he would have to be careful from now on at work; he hadn't even started the job and had already made enemies with his colleagues, which could be troublesome.

"Fatty, take care of me from now on!" Ye Chen patted Fatty's shoulder and asked with a smile, "I don't know your honorable surname and given name?"

"Surname Li, just call me Li Cheng!" Li Cheng glanced at Ye Chen, walked over to his desk, then pulled out an experience form and handed it to Ye Chen, saying, "Kid, fill out this form quickly, so I can get you a uniform!"

Seeing the number, it was a call from Liu Momo.

"Brother Chen, it's my last day of rest today; come with me shopping?" Liu Momo's voice was very sweet, each time she spoke to Ye Chen there was a sense of reliance in her tone.

He drove the somewhat old Oto car to Jianghuai University as agreed.

The distance from Xin Hai District to Jianghuai University wasn't far, just a few minutes drive. From afar, he could see Liu Momo wearing a floral dress, standing at the university's gate, her fair and slender hand shading her eyes from the sun, a hint of anxiety in her expression. Compared to the girls around her, she stood out from the crowd, truly a sight to behold.

"Oh? How will you reward me?" Ye Chen asked with a smile, shifted into reverse, swung the car around with a quick turn of the wheel, and then hit the gas, zooming off.
