For as long as I can remember, all I did was kill people, only over time did I begin to develop consciousness. And then I realized that I was a demon if you believe the human concept of what I was doing.

I only saw people as food that made me stronger, and becoming stronger was my goal.

I don't know how many people I killed, but I continued to kill and kill. Until... I saw HER.

A girl, as far as I could understand what a girl was and only took information from the minds of the people I devoured

But unlike ordinary girls, this one had wings behind her back and I felt her strength, from which my whole being shuddered.

I knew from people that this girl was an angel, and I was a demon, and I knew that angels and demons are enemies. I felt that her strength was much higher than mine, I wanted to run and hide, but I couldn't, it was like I was rooted to the ground.

She looked at me, flying up to me, I thought that my end had come, which did not happen.

She started stroking me, smiling.

I didn't understand what was happening, but her stroking was soothing and brought... comfort.

The next thing I remember, she took me in her arms and we flew together to God knows where until we reached the sky where there was a forest, which puzzled me, how could there be a forest in the sky? She flew deep into the forest and landed at a wooden house, which became my home.

I don't know how many years I spent with her, I was once a cruel demon who killed the stupid human race and took the path of redemption, and Gabrielle, that was her name, set me on it. She knew how many people I had killed and according to the rules, she had to drive me into the very depths of hell and lock me up.

She decided to believe in me, in the black soul that I have, that I could get redemption. With the help of her teachings, I began to slowly understand what pity and compassion are, I no longer felt that I wanted to kill, but only to understand the human inside.

Over time, I myself did not notice how my appearance began to change, until I began to resemble a human girl, I had red hair, pointed ears and amethyst eyes. After some time, while I delved deeper into Gabrielle's teachings, I grew a pair of wings, only unlike the angel's white wings, mine were light gray.

Gabrielle taught me more and more about understanding human feelings, until we reached the feelings called love and its many variations.

And only after fully exploring these feelings, I realized that I love Gabrielle as a couple.

I didn't delay and told her this

She smiled, came up to me, touching my cheek with her lips, people called it a kiss.

After this gesture, I felt heat all over my face and again this meant that I was embarrassed.

She said and left, leaving me alone in the house or should I say alone? I don't know what to call myself because demons have no gender, but since I have the body of a girl, I think I'll be a girl.

This is how my time passed, learning from Gabrielle, after that conversation she kissed me more often, usually it was kisses on the cheeks or forehead, but the last time she started kissing me on the lips, I didn't know that lips could be so sweet because she had them too as such. Of course, I knew that intercourse can occur between loving people, as people called it sex. But Gabrielle was an angel, and they were forbidden to do this, and I don't think we need this, we maintain an emotional and spiritual connection.

She told me that she once had brothers and sisters who numbered in the millions, which surprised me. I didn't know what it meant to have brothers and sisters. Whether other demons could be called such, I don't know, and I haven't met other demons.

But they all died in a war against God, who created people and then wanted to destroy them all, all the angels stood up to protect people, and in the end only Gabriel was left. I don't know what she feels when she remembers her family, but it's like sadness and sadness, I don't like seeing her like that, so when she gets into that state I always try to distract her.

It's already hard for her, she supports heaven all alone and makes sure that the world doesn't fall apart. And this became my goal, to learn how to rule the heavens together with her, in order to take half of her burden upon myself.

This morning, I woke up in bed next to Gabrielle, we don't need sleep, but sometimes it's nice to just lie down and fall asleep with her in your arms.

"Gabriel, why are you looking at me like that?" I asked her, blushing a little at her look.

She smiled and didn't speak

I smiled and pressed closer to her until I felt her tense up, I looked at her and asked

"Do you want me to come with you?" I asked, but I knew what she would answer

"No, I'll deal with this and get back to you!" She said kissing me on the lips and disappeared into the light.

I lay there and waited for her, but she still wasn't there.

I couldn't wait any longer, I decided to go and find her. Descending from heaven, I flew where I felt her presence.

Having reached this place, the whole world stopped for me! I saw how the people she protected, whom she loved, pierced her with spears, and she did not seem betrayed, but she simply smiled at them, and dissolved into particles.

I don't know what happened inside me, it was like a switch inside me flipped and all I felt was rage and anger.

I don't know how long I spent in this state, but when I felt her presence, I briefly returned to normal.

Everything around was on fire, houses, trees, the earth itself.

And I stood in front of some old man who was protecting the children.

I looked at him, and only could understand what Gabrielle taught me, mercy.

I closed my eyes, she wouldn't want this. 

That night, the old man, sheltering the children, knew the mercy of hell.

It didn't take long to think that I flew up into space.

Being in this endless darkness, I started screaming into the void

'WHY?'

"YOU PROMISED!"

"WE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE TOGETHER ALWAYS!"

Tears began to flow from my eyes, turning into sobs. In my entire life I had never cried, and I didn't know what it meant.

But now, having lost someone I love with my black soul, he left! So what is the point for me to remain alive and continue to exist.

I don't know how long I flew, planets and stars flew past me, until I found what I was looking for.

A supernova explosion, Gabrielle explained this phenomenon to me, and made a promise to fly down someday and see it together.

"Liar!" I whispered quietly. 

"But I still love you, my dear Gab!" - I said and flew to the center of the supernova

Somewhere in the unknown universe you can see a beautiful sight that no man can see, a super new explosion.

But unlike an ordinary explosion, it was stronger and carried within it the grief of a girl who had lost the love of her life.

"Don't worry, you will definitely find each other!" said the unknown girl watching the explosion

As imperceptibly as she appeared, she disappeared.
