General Hagris face contorted. He fell silent thinking carefully how to response to his highness without being disrespectful. Even his majesty is asking his opinion and giving him a chance to refuse, it doesn't mean that his majesty will not be offended if he ever refuse.
Lady Shinye keeps quite and waited for her husband's decision, he is the head of their family after all. She will support his husband's decision whatever it was.
On the contrary, young master Shinri's face is flushed red. He is biting his bottom lips so hard that it may bleed if he keeps bitting it harder. He glares dangerously to Prince Rhuy, his eyes says how angry he is. His clenched fist is ready to punch Prince Rhuy's face any moment. He indeed wants to boast his beloved sister to his friends so they would be invious of him having a cute little sister but he did not anticipated this bethrotal to happen, that one of his so called friends will stole his sister from him.
"Traitor!", young master Shinri said accusingly to Prince Rhen. His face looks comical that young master Elmon can't help but laugh and tease him more.
" Awww, so bad.. .. someone's sister got stolen hahaha do you regret inviting Rhuy here today.", young master Elmon teasingly said that makes Shinri's face crumbled more.
" If you have a problem with if, just say it directly to his majesty." Prince Rhuy dismissively replied to Shinri and ignore him afterwards.
Even he himself isn't informed before about this bethrotal and also got surprise hearing it now but what else can he do? If his father , his majesty ordered it then he can only obey. As a one of the Princes of this kingdom, he is obliged to follow his Majesty's command. Engagements are usual norms in the Royal family anyways, it is just a matter of who and what benefit could they acquire from it. He even Rhen can't escape from it.
" Aren't you going to say something? It was your present that she chose, not mine to begin with." Prince Rhuy nonchalantly glance to his twin brother.
"What else should I say, father already decided. No one can change his mind now. Besides, I'm sure that father is fully aware that it was my present but still decided to bethrote her to you. He might have a reason for making up this decision.
Hearing the conversation between the two brothers, young master Shinri can't help but let out deep sigh.
"There's really no escaping it then, i would rather give my sister to you Rhuy that to Rhen. Young master Shinri said accepting the reality in front of his.
To be engage to Prince Rhuy doesn't sound so bad if he is going to look at it from outsiders view. He is a prince which means that Shizuna will be this kingdom's princess in the future. Prince Rhuy also has a better temperament compared to Prince Rhen. Prince Rhuy is always calm and thinks logically most of the time so he can handle and take care of Shizuna, that's for sure.
If Shizuna is going to be engage to Prince Rhuy instead, I'm sure that this kingdom would lost its peace. They just met today and their attitudes already clash together. Nobody wants to think what will happen if the both of them get engage instead. Both of them are trouble makers.
"But so you know, I will not tolerate it if you ever mistreated or hurt my sister, I will kill you if that ever happens", Shinri look intently to Prince Rhuy. His face suddenly hardened.
Lady Lhia on the other hand is deeply contemplating about something.

Everyone suddenly sink in a deep thought on what she said, each one thinking what might be that future encounter.
"Oh come on, do you seriously believe that? That was just a superstitious belief in our kingdom. No one can testify if that was really truth anyway." Prince Rhen said amusely. He smirks and shrugged nonchalantly like saying that they are making a big deal out of it.
"That's right, besides, I understand why his majesty came up with this decision. Until now, the influence and power between the Royal Family and the four great generals are equals. Balancing the power of each powerhouse is important to keep each other in check but occasional union between family is also necessary. Other family members from the other three general household had tied a knot with the imperial family, only General Hagris household who isn't yet. This is a good apportunity that his majesty will surely grab. Engaging Lady Shizuna to Prince Rhen as the crown prince will surely destroy this well maintained balance so he chose Prince Rhuy instead. "Hayys, engagement and politics are really complicated. It stress me a lot. When I grow up, I will just marry the person I love", young master Elmon said while fixing his hair not really giving too much throught to want he heard.
" I don't care anymore but whoever marry my sister someday should make her happy and safe". Young master Shinri seriously said while looking at his little sister who are now giggling in her mother's arms.
"By the way, is that really an ordinary Hanfu hair pin? Why did you ask Mr. Clark, the most famous craftsman to personally do it for you? " Prince Rhuy ask Prince Rhen seriously. His face harden and his sharp eyes shows his suspension. A doubt visible in his eyes.
A wide smirk forms in Prince Rhen's face, his eyes turns crescent showing his mischievous thoughts. They are waiting for his answer but they hear none of it. No body knows what he is thinking but they can see in his face that it wasn't that good. Trouble might be coming soon.
Before Prince Rhuy can ask again his twin brother, their attention were turned to his majesty when he spoke.
"I'm waiting my General. Your decision I must hear. " Emperor Valier asked once again and this time, the general is force to answer. A faith with no return.
