"I just came to check on you, and it seems you're alright now. So, I will go."

"I hope you're happy with the Clan Leader. Anyway... I feel guilty about what happened earlier," Reiji said quietly, filled with remorse.

Reiji's eyes were downcast, as if searching for answers on the floor, afraid to face the response that might come.

Kasumi smiled gently, a smile full of warmth and understanding.

Kasumi then stepped closer to Reiji, her long dress flowing smoothly with her movements.

"Fufu... You're too serious, Reiji," Kasumi said with a small laugh.

"Of course, I'm happy with my husband. Never think otherwise. Do you think I'm doing this because I'm unhappy?" Kasumi shook her head gently, her red hair shimmering in the morning light.

"No, Reiji. I'm happy. I have a complete family, and I've considered you a part of that family. I've long thought of you as my own child."

Reiji looked at Kasumi with a confused expression, not fully understanding the meaning behind her words.

Kasumi, as if reading Reiji's confusion, continued in a soft yet firm voice, "So, for me, if a child touches their mother—even if accidentally—it's not something you need to worry about."

"All children have touched their mother's chest, right? After all, you are still children, so the faint desire to drink milk may still linger within you."

Kasumi leaned her body closer, pulling Reiji into an embrace.

Reiji froze, his body stiffening, but he couldn't resist the warmth enveloping him.

The soft scent of roses and jasmine from Kasumi's body felt soothing, even though Reiji's heart was still filled with guilt.
