Chapter 50
I released a heavy sigh as I found myself in a world where all colors had faded into a dull gray.
“Phew… This spell still gives me the creeps.”
The air was stagnant and lifeless here. I had to create barriers and generate oxygen to survive. I avoided using this spell unless it was absolutely necessary.
“Let’s get this over with…”
I stepped in front of Brain, who wore an expression of utter despair.
“Considering you won’t have a change of heart… Farewell.”
I extended my hand towards Brain and clenched it firmly. With [Spatial Deletion] I erased Brain’s existence.
Using this spell while time was frozen created ruptures in space, attempting to suck in everything nearby. However, I had enclosed the area around the deleted space with protective barriers, ensuring no harm came to the surroundings.
“Now… with this, Mea and the others are safe… Now, it’s time for the academy.”
After casting various protective barriers around Mea, I used [Teleport] to transport myself to the academy.
—
The academy was in a pretty dire state. While it appeared that there were no casualties, the school buildings were in ruins, and many students and teachers were injured or trapped.
“First, let’s start with healing…[ Area Heal]”
A magical circle covered the entire school grounds, and a soothing light descended from it, healing the wounds of those within.
Simultaneously, I began searching for the attackers, the executives responsible for this chaos. Well, “searching” might not be the right word, given how they were making quite a scene.
There were five executives in total—three women and two men. Each had their distinct features, but I wouldn’t bother describing them since I’d probably never see them again.
I approached one of the male executives and placed my hand over his heart, invoking a spell.
“Now, I shall seal the cruelest curse in existence upon you… [Mana Seal.]”
In that moment, dark, chain-like tendrils emerged from my hand and entered the man’s body, binding his magic organs.
In this world, the most precious thing was undoubtedly Mana. It was said that those without Mana would have no choice but to perish.
However, this was a forbidden spell that could seal Mana indefinitely. Even I, the caster, wouldn’t be able to undo it once applied. If the curse were reversed, the caster would lose their ability to use magic forever.
Well, that’s why I’m extra cautious, even when time is frozen like this. Besides, there are only three individuals in the world capable of reversing this magic, so I should be safe… I hope.
“Alright, next.”
I proceeded to apply the [Mana Seal] spell to each of the executives, one by one. Since they would likely spend the rest of their lives imprisoned or worse, it didn’t really matter if it became known that they couldn’t use magic. Plus, they were criminals, so they wouldn’t be thoroughly investigated or interrogated. Not that it would matter much, even if they were.
After applying the spell to all of them, I gathered the five executives together and tied them up at the entrance of the school. I had no intention of repairing the school building; I’d leave that task to the teachers.
“Now, let’s go back to Mea and have some fun,” I thought eagerly.
With that in mind, I happily returned to Mea’s side.
And so, this unprecedented school attack came to an end, unnoticed by anyone, all thanks to a single boy who managed to resolve everything in an instant.

I didn’t know authors could make chapters this short. It almost feels illegal. (⊙ˍ⊙)
