Abyssal Sovereign: The Demon's Dominion

Chapter 80: Measures..

"I can't be weaker than that clone… I will destroy this world and leave," Abornim thought. He knew his main body would be disappointed if he wasted time in this world, especially now that he had inherited the coldness of demons.

"Relax," Mahito said with a nervous smile. "Yes… we just want to talk to you about something," Jogo added, trying to ease the tension as he looked up at Abornim's tall, toned form, with his black hair and confident grin.

"I have limited time, so let's get this started," Abornim said, suddenly appearing right in front of Jogo. Jogo instinctively moved back, and Hanami stepped forward to attack, but quickly froze, seeing something terrifying. Abornim was holding Jogo's head in his hands.

"Too weak… all of you are just early Rank 0. Disappointing," Abornim muttered before dropping two lifeless bodies: Jogo's and Hanami's, each split into pieces.

Mahito stood, shocked, while Abornim kneeled. "You see… I deal with souls. I'm not like them. I can make you into a nice puppet," Mahito said with a wide smile.

All around the world, special-grade curses were becoming each other allys after hearing that Abornim could kill special-grade beings.

Nanami stepped off a bus with Megumi, Itadori, and Nobara. He picked up a call that seemed to change everything.

"Change of plans," he said with a grave tone. "You three return to Tokyo High School immediately… you're our only hope now. With all the chaos and death, the cursed fingers are all in one place, and Gojo will hand them to you soon."

The three watched as Nanami hurried away, sensing that something catastrophic was unfolding but feeling powerless to stop it.

"Hahaha… souls? Then you're finished," Abornim stood, grinning. Mahito backed away in shock as buildings around them collapsed and people scattered in fear. Abornim's face appeared on screens everywhere, and the military scrambled to react.

At a military base, a general took a call, nodding grimly. "Understood… Tokyo, then… yes, we'll use nuclear weapons. It has to be done," he said, cutting the line. Slumping into his chair, he reflected on the weight of his decision. Tokyo, the capital, held over 30 million lives, but with global pressure mounting, he had no choice. 30 million lives compare to the 8.2 billion.. the choice is clear...

"What did he mean by that?" Mahito thought, leaping to the top of a skyscraper for a better view.

"Touch my soul again," a voice called from behind, and Mahito froze, realizing Abornim had followed him effortlessly. The cursed spirit turned, trembling.

"Who… are you?" Mahito stammered.

"A primordial demon," Abornim replied.

Mahito's shock deepened. "Primordial demon? What… what does that even mean?" He had heard demons referred to by humans, but never anything like this.

"Enough talking… try touching my soul again," Abornim challenged with a grin. Mahito regretted his decisions, sensing the futility of the situation. His hands stretched out…

…Boom!...

Mahito collapsed to his knees, overwhelmed by a monstrous vision. Before him stood a being so vast he could barely comprehend it. This Abornim was merely a fragment of that soul.

"This planet… is going to be destroyed," Mahito whispered, his hope drained.

"Yes," Abornim replied, stepping forward. He reached out and touched Mahito's head.

…Bam…

Mahito's body disintegrated, leaving three special-grade curses now dead.

At Tokyo High School, Megumi, Itadori, and Nobara where on their feet with other students and the principal was at the front.. has expression grim with the dolls beside him.

"Who are they?" Nobara asked, glancing at the new faces.

"Second- and third-year students," Megumi replied.

Finally, the principal spoke. "You are what we have left… our last hope if we wish to survive," he said solemnly.

A female student stepped forward. "What did you mean?" she asked.

"Maki… if you don't already know, everyone else is dead. The other schools… our world is being overrun, not only by Abornim but by curses running amok. The elders have decided to risk it all," the principal said, spreading his hands. In them were 14 of Sukuna's fingers.

"You are our hope, Yuji," the principal said, walking toward Itadori. The other students stepped back, stunned. They understood the risks of gathering all of Sukuna's fingers; if consumed, the King of Curses would return. But with Sukuna, there might be a chance to defeat Abornim. After all sukuna didn't kill everyone on earth at least some will be left alive and .. gojo might be able to defeat him but this abornim...he was coming to erase everyone and everything on this planet.

"Only eat them when you encounter Abornim," the principal instructed, and Itadori took the fingers solemnly. The tension in the room was palpable.

"Your training begins now. We need you all to become special-grade sorcerers. Extreme measures will be taken," the principal announced, laying out the plan.

On a skyscraper rooftop, Abornim gazed at the moon. Below him, the city lay in ruins, a few humans scattered across the desolate landscape.

"High-level Rank 0…" he said with a smile.

"The feeling of being untouchable. Look at them… this world… they're weak, helpless. Their lives and deaths mean nothing," Abornim yawned, bored. After absorbing those memories, his perspective had shifted completely.

"I see why my main body is so cold. They're ants, after all. I am the strongest being in this world. Who else could challenge me? Gojo? Sukuna? No one. They're all barely at middle level, Rank 0. I'm already high-level Rank 0."

"Japan is nearly destroyed… I suppose it's time to move on to other countries," he said, turning around to find a white-haired figure standing behind him.

"So, you're not from this world?" Gojo asked.

"Correct… I'm a primordial demon. I could have played along, but you're all so weak. What's the point?" Abornim stretched out his hands.

"Hmph," Gojo smirked, disappearing and reappearing behind him.

…Spurt… spurt… spurt… slash…

Several deep wounds appeared on Abornim's body.

"Done," Gojo whispered, gazing at the ruined city below.
