Alien Beloved

Chapter 11: 11

Rohen turned to the people again:

"The citizens of Illuria will now help you settle in the

houses that you will like. Everyone will find something to

enjoy their hobbies in our city under the strict guidance of

your mentors."

The Overlord instructed the Archon Adivaris to distribute

assistants among the new residents, supervising the process.

Settlement happened quickly. The Syrinxes smiling

hospitably marched in an organized manner and led couples

and singles to guest houses and appartments until Rianka,

Onelia, Denris, and a few men and women were left before the

rulers.

They looked around in confusion at the taking away

people, not understanding why no one came up to them and

was in no hurry to settle them. Many syrinxes were still

standing close by, surrounding the rest and did not move.

From their expressions, it was clear that they would not take

a single step without the command of their Overlord, who

glared at each human intently.

Denris cringed at Rohen's piercing glowing purple eyes. It

seemed to him that he was especially stern and looked at him

all the time.

Suddenly the Overlord said:

"The rest have gained royal status. Follow Adivaris. He

leads you to the tower."

He made a sign to the massive blond behind him and

abruptly disappeared, and the syrinxes immediately

dispersed and scattered in different directions, emptying the

square.

"Why did they decide to settle separately from all?" - Denris

was flustered, looking at Rianka. - "What is this royal status?"

The captain shook her head in confusion and, having

caught up with Adivaris, was about to ask him this question,

but he immediately answered:

"Aristocrats have to reside in towers."

"Are they talking about us?"

"Yes! You and they are the elite. VIP-persons! What is

incomprehensible?" Adivaris stared into her eyes.

Rianka looked back at a puzzled Denris not understanding

what is going on and shrugged.

Soon they came to one of the towers, entered through a

massive door adorned with big red crystals, and began

climbing the endless stairs. On one of the floors, they ended

up in a large hall with a lot of furniture and an exquisite

interior. From fatigue, everyone fell into soft chairs,

stretching their legs and looking at the views of the city.

Outside the windows, syrinxes scurried in flight, still excited

at the appearance of foreigners.

"Do we have to go up and down like this every day? Why

is there no elevator?" One blonde named Lorinta was

indignant. "We don't have wings. What the heck? Why didn't

we settle in normal houses?"

"You'd better stay here for now," said Adivaris firmly,

frozen in front of all. "For your safety."

"Where can we get food?" asked the slender brunette

Jamien, rubbing his tired legs.

"You don't need any food for now," - Adivaris said. - "From

this day forward, you all become syrinxes and transmute into

an energetic life form. Your bodily needs now fade out and

continue to gradually get used to the new form of being."

"What? It's a joke?" - Denris exclaimed.

"Not at all! - The Overlord granted you immortality while

you were standing in the square."

"Really?" - The dark-skined curly-haired guy Yukhair was

amazed. - "No one asked our agreement if we wanted it."

"Why did they do this to us?" - the blonde

Emfara murmured.

"You came here to establish a colony, but we are the

owners of this planet and rightfully set our own conditions for

you to successfully assimilate with us."

"So why exactly we have to be immortal? How are we

different from the rest?" - Denris was puzzled.

"The Lord knows better who is worthy of such a gift, and

yes, you are special for him, as well as for all of us. There is no

need to be afraid and reject your new state. You will enjoy

being immortal magicians."

"Mages?" - Everyone was startled, looking at each other.

"What does it mean?"

Adivaris began to patiently explain:

"When you completely transmute, you will become

creators and be able to transform the matter into the desired

form, make objects and things, read thoughts. It will take time

to learn how to manage the energies, but you will have

enough of it and in three hundred years you will finally

become syrinxes."

There were loud exclamations of surprise and

amazement:

"Wow! Three hundred years! Stunned! Can't be! This is

great!"

Everyone was numb with the realization of the prospects

that open up for him for an amazing and unusual life in a

beautiful and fantastic world.

Adivaris did not hide his smile, looking at their reaction.

"It seems you are no longer against your transformation.

I'm telling you, you'll love it! Rejoice that the mercy of the

Lord has descended upon you."

"And how did he do it?" - Asked Jamien.

"Rohan is Deity… With one glance you triggered your

transformation. You didn't even notice his influence on you."

"Really? Deity?" - Yukhair wrinkled his forehead. - "Why

weren't there creatures on our planet who could so easily

command anything?"

"He appeared with us not so long ago; such Entities are

extremely rarely born in physical reality," - Adivaris explained.

- "But syrinxes have always had magical abilities, some more,

some less."

"Will our wings grow?" - the grey-eyed brunette

Asfira asked.

"Well, not soon, this requires additional magic, available

through love relationships."

"Should we have affairs with syrinxes?"

"You shouldn't, but serious magic manifests itself through

strong feelings. Therefore, if you want to gain superpowers

faster, do not reject love."

"Why can't we go outside? I would like to take a walk and

see the city," - Jamien asked.

"You will get too much attention from the residents.

Syrinxes easily fall in love and strive for close communication,

which can shock the unadapted, you will think that they are

obsessive. It is still difficult for you to withstand the onslaught

of their affection: they will touch you, kiss you and invite you

to continue getting acquainted with them. You are given royal

status and they know every privileged person by name. There

are twenty-one princesses in society and they do not appear

publicly, they only hold private receptions."

"It's clear why women shouldn't go outside, but why are

guys in danger?" - Denris asked suspiciously.

"It doesn't matter what gender you are, your energy

attracts any vamp, and he will strive for close communication.

Royals are susceptible to intrusive attention."

"What? Syrinxes are vampires?" - Rianka was amazed. - "And

I'm only finding out about this now? Now it's clear why I

constantly fell asleep and didn't really remember anything. I

was losing my strength."

Everyone stared at Rianka with horror in the eyes. No one

suspected that their captain had already experienced the love

of syrinxes.

"There's no need to react so painfully," - Adivaris objected.

"You will get used to our society. Ramies is a strong magician

and does not suit your energy, so you fainted from his love.

You couldn't resist him, he easily seduces with his charms."

"Did you sleep with some Ramies?" - Denris exclaimed,

looking upset. - "How so, Rianka?"

"Why are you making a scene of jealousy for me in front of

everyone?" - Rianka flared up. - "I am a free woman and have the

right to change partners. You are not the only man, and there

are thousands of them on this planet, and they are very attractive."

Adivaris watched the showdown with curiosity and

intervened:

"Denris, you have no right to limit her, you are not bound

by any obligations. It is normal for a princess to have

numerous affairs. Don't be scared by the fact that our society

is polyamorous, and jealousy is not accepted here."

"What if a woman doesn't want to communicate with

syrinxes," - Asfira blurted out indignantly. - "Will I have to

constantly hide from all the harassment?"

"You won't be able to hide all the time, dear," - Adivaris

answered good-naturedly and sat down next to her.

Asfira blushed and was embarrassed. He affectionately

put his arm around her shoulders.
