Chapter 216: Chapter 216
Hearing everyone's pleas, Tsunade just smiled confidently.
"You all underestimate me!" she replied, producing a scroll. With a single poof, a puff of smoke cleared to reveal an elaborate collection of game consoles.
She grinned with satisfaction. "I picked these up in the One Punch world—dozens of them! Plenty to keep me entertained. Why bother gambling when I have these?"
She gestured proudly at the various machines: classic arcade games, pinball machines, coin pushers, and even claw machines for grabbing prizes. Her collection was extensive, and she looked quite pleased with herself.
The others exchanged glances, some chuckling, some sighing, and all of them shaking their heads.
"Of course, Only Hashirama's granddaughter would come back with game consoles instead of high-tech gadgets…" Madara muttered.
Tobirama shook his head with an amused sigh. "Only Tsunade would return from a world full of advanced tech and bring back a bunch of game consoles."
Madara smirked, crossing his arms. "I'm not surprised in the slightest. The gamble-seeking streak runs in your family, Tobirama. And it's strong with her."
Tobirama raised an eyebrow. "Better a thrill-seeker than an ego-driven fanatic, Madara."
Madara scoffed, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Careful, Tobirama. Some would argue those traits aren't so different."
But they had to admit, it wasn't a bad idea. These consoles offered endless entertainment, no cost attached, and—best of all—no risk to her points. Finally, everyone let out a relieved sigh.
After Tsunade stowed her consoles back into her storage scroll, she spoke with a smug smile.
"You all think I'm foolish, don't you?" she said, crossing her arms. "I know how valuable these points are—worth hundreds of thousands! They could easily be used to unlock powerful abilities. Why would I waste them all on betting? A few thousand at most, maybe."
Hashirama nodded approvingly. "That's my granddaughter! Knows when to indulge and when to hold back!"
But Tobirama scoffed, shaking his head. "Brother, you didn't teach her any of this! Do you think Tsunade learned moderation from you?" Hashirama just laughed heartily, unbothered by his brother's remark.
With the lighthearted moment passing, everyone turned their attention back to the rewards. Tsunade's prize of 350,000 points was impressive, more than enough to exchange for something powerful in the shop.
Amid the chatter, the chat group finally displayed the specifics of her earnings:
Two dragon-level monsters: 100,000 points each
One S-level hero, Child Emperor: 150,000 points
Total value: 350,000 points!
Seeing her reward total in bold numbers brought out a few more whistles of admiration from the crowd.
After seeing the notification, everyone nodded in agreement. It made sense that Tsunade, who defeated three formidable opponents, earned 350,000 points. Two of her opponents were monsters, while the third was a top-tier superhero.
From the points distribution, one thing became clear: defeating S-class heroes generally awarded more points than defeating monsters, likely due to the heroes' notable strength. These S-class heroes are, after all, exceptionally powerful, and their skill levels justify the 150,000 points given for their defeat.
Among Tsunade's opponents was Child Emperor—a kid on the surface, but one with an arsenal of highly sophisticated robots, each equipped with unique functions. Despite his youthful appearance, he's a crafty fighter, using his robots to cause serious trouble. Yet in their battle, Tsunade ruthlessly dismantled his robots, smashing them to pieces without a second thought. Child Emperor was ultimately left begging for mercy, completely overpowered. With such an impressive display, it's no surprise she received such high points.
After reviewing the top three rankings, the Hokages understood. It was clear that each of the top-ranked individuals had rightfully earned their place, and future competitors would certainly have to do their best to reach the top.
He managed to defeat the strongest monsters and heroes alike, including one hero who is the absolute pinnacle of power in their world. Earning over a million points for such feats is well-deserved.
As for Kakashi, who came in second, he performed incredibly well too. While he only took down one monster, he single-handedly defeated two S-class heroes. He handled more S-class heroes than anyone else, which justified his high score.
Then there's Tsunade in third place. Her count of defeated heroes was comparable to the others, but her edge came from defeating an additional monster. Facing two monsters in a one-versus-two battle gave her a strong finish, which explains her high score as well.
After seeing the rewards for the top three, everyone was satisfied with the outcomes. They found the points fair and had no complaints.
Just then, the chat group chimed in with another message:
[Third Place Reward!]
[Prize: One Lucky Draw Chance!]
The reward for third place also included a lucky draw! Tsunade was thrilled—this was a valuable prize. When it comes to the lottery, there isn't much difference between the second and third-place rewards; both offer a shot at an amazing prize.
If Tsunade is lucky, she might even land something more powerful than Kakashi's prize! Of course, that's only a possibility.
Next up, the remaining Hokages were ready to see their results. Everyone knew one thing: the chat group would announce each of their gains. However, since none of them made it into the top three, they wouldn't receive any additional rewards this time. The Hokages didn't mind, though, as they hadn't put as much effort into their battles. It was fair that they didn't earn as much.
Just then, the chat group voice announced:
[System Announcement: Rankings Update!]
[Fourth Place: Fourth Hokage, Namikaze Minato]
[Fifth Place: Seventh Hokage, Uzumaki Naruto]
[Sixth Place: Fifth Hokage, Uchiha Sasuke]
[Seventh Place: Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama]
[Eighth Place: First Hokage, Senju Hashirama]
[Ninth Place: Alternate First Hokage, Uchiha Madara]
[Note: Rankings are based on overall performance and technology from One-Punch Man World.]
Once the 12 Hokages were ranked, everyone realized that this reward round had come to an end. Hashirama and Madara were particularly unlucky—they had joined Ryan in battling Saitama, only to see Ryan take down the strongest hero and monster himself. Because of that, they didn't get any extra rewards this time. And by the time they moved on to other battles, most of them had already wrapped up, so their rewards were limited as well.
