Chapter 220: Chapter 220
Infused with Tobirama's chakra, the scroll released a puff of white smoke.
Boom!
A loud crash echoed through the room as a massive object materialized before them, leaving everyone in stunned silence. It was an airplane.
The training ground was thick with stunned silence as the members of the Anbu—Kagami Uchiha, Yamanaka, Nara, and Aburame clan members—stared in shock at the massive object that had just materialized in front of them. It was difficult for any of them to reconcile what they were seeing with the world they knew.
Kagami Uchiha, ever the stoic Uchiha, was the first to break the silence. His eyes narrowed as he stepped closer to the strange object, his mind working furiously to comprehend what had just occurred. He couldn't hide the disbelief in his voice as he addressed Tobirama, "This... this isn't possible. How did you—what is this? A new summoning beast?"
His question hung in the air, unanswered for a moment, as the others slowly began to stir from their stupor.
The Nara clan member, known for his analytical mind, was already deep in thought, trying to make sense of what was happening. His fingers were tapping absently against his leg as he muttered under his breath, "It doesn't make sense… A machine like this can fly? And it's this large? We're still working with basic wind jutsu here… How can such a thing exist?" He paused, glancing at Tobirama with a mixture of suspicion and curiosity, "Is this some kind of... illusion?"
But it was the Aburame clan member who finally broke the silence with a question that was more pressing than anything else. His voice was low, guarded, "How... lethal can this be? Aerial warfare!"
Tobirama remained calm and unruffled by the flurry of questions. He gave a small nod, his voice steady as he explained, "It's an airplane. It's not an illusion, and it's not dangerous unless used incorrectly. It's a form of transportation. Capable of flying through the air and carrying many people at once." He paused, surveying the stunned faces before continuing. "It's a product of technology from another world."
Kagami shook his head, his voice tinged with disbelief. "Another world? You're saying this… thing came from a world outside our own?"
Tobirama gave a slight nod. "Yes. I have learned much from these worlds. And I intend to bring this knowledge here."
The Yamanaka, still grappling with the mental weight of it all, finally spoke, her voice a bit shaky, "You've brought back an airplane, and... you expect us to just accept this? We can barely use chakra to manipulate the air to float, let alone have something that flies without it."
Tobirama's gaze remained unwavering. "I understand it's hard to grasp, but this is just the beginning. There are other technologies far beyond our current understanding. They are real, and I will make them available to us."
Without a moment's hesitation, Tobirama unfurled more scrolls, each one revealing more advanced machinery. Tanks, cars—objects so unfamiliar, so far beyond their understanding, that the ninjas stood motionless, struggling to recognize them.
The sight left them utterly dumbfounded. The technology before them was so advanced, that it felt like a glimpse into a world they could never have imagined. None of them could fathom how such things were possible.
Tobirama, looking on with a hint of pride, simply gestured to the machines. "These are just the beginning. With enough knowledge and resources, we can bring this technology to Konoha and change the course of our future."
The room fell silent, each member of the Anbu too stunned to respond, their minds unable to fully process what they had just witnessed.
Even after explaining, it was still difficult for the others to grasp the underlying principles. Tobirama understood the challenge. From a technological standpoint, the people in their world were still far behind—much farther than he had anticipated. After all, the technology he was showing them had come from the One Punch Man world, a place where advanced technology had already evolved far beyond their wildest dreams.
And then there was their world. Before entering the Hokage chat group, they couldn't even conceive of something like the Chakra Cannon. The gap between their level of technology and what he now had access to was enormous.
Tobirama wasn't in a hurry, though. He handed over many of the scrolls to the ninjas and researchers present, encouraging them to do their research. He paid special attention to the items that weren't as advanced, hoping they might be more immediately useful. As for the more complex items, like the airplanes and tanks, he knew it would take a long time to reverse-engineer them. Even with all the genius in the village, it was unrealistic to expect them to replicate these technologies in a matter of days.
Once the tasks were assigned, the scientific researchers in the village dove into their work with enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Tobirama returned to his office as the minister. This time, his mission wasn't just to oversee technological advancements; there was something else pressing that he needed to address: the calendar he had exchanged from the mall.
In addition to that, he had also redeemed a potion designed to enhance physical fitness. While he was already a formidable combatant, with few shortcomings, he recognized that the potion could still be useful. His speed and spatial abilities—thanks to the Flying Thunder God technique—allowed him to outmaneuver most opponents. Still, anything that could improve his strength was worth considering. Furthermore, he had also redeemed the Sharingan, which added another layer to his already powerful arsenal.
In other areas, such as attack and defense, Tobirama's strength had also risen to a formidable level. At least for the enemies he faced at this stage, he didn't need to worry about being held back by his power. His strength allowed him to easily rank among the most powerful Hokage, standing at the forefront of the few who could rival him. Only Ryan, with his overpowered abilities, could be said to defeat him consistently. As for the others, it was harder to say.
Even his elder brother, Hashirama, was someone he felt confident he could face in battle. At this point, his only major weakness was the amount of chakra he had—this was by far his most significant limitation, and the difference was glaring.
Of course, from the perspective of an ordinary ninja, Tobirama's chakra would seem more than sufficient. Not many people could manipulate Water Style at his level. But when compared to the other "monsters" in the Hokage chat group, it was clear that he fell short. Take Ryan, for example, his strength was already incredibly powerful and terrifying. Adding a Saiyan physique to the mix only made it more absurd. Tobirama couldn't even imagine what level of power Ryan would reach in the future.
In comparison, Naruto's body—home to the Nine-Tails—had an enormous chakra reserve. No explanation was needed there. Even closer to home, his older brother, the First Hokage, Hashirama, had strength that was beyond outrageous, even before he received any rewards. His chakra even dwarfed Naruto's.
The chakra content now felt akin to that of a human-tailed beast—immense and capable of producing incredible feats with ease. Tobirama couldn't help but compare himself to others in his world. Everyone had chakra, so it seemed no different, but the gap was undeniable.
This had always been a concern for him. However, this time, he had finally acquired a potion that could enhance his physical fitness. After drinking it, Tobirama knew his strength would increase significantly. After all, the essence of chakra is the combination of physical and spiritual energy. When the body's energy is enhanced, chakra naturally grows in tandem.
Tobirama looked down at his hands, holding the small blue potion. He hesitated for a moment, then pulled out a sieve, looked up, and drank the potion in one swift gulp.
The moment it entered his body, he felt as if a flame had ignited within him. His entire body became unbearably hot. Then, strength surged through him.
Tobirama focused and began to condense the chakra. He could immediately feel a vast amount of chakra coursing through him, far beyond what he was accustomed to.
"It worked!" he thought, excitement building. The weakness that had plagued him for so long had been completely eradicated by the reward he had exchanged.
At the same time, in Ryan's world…
Ryan was quietly assessing his body in the Hokage world. After returning, he didn't rush into tasks like the others or immediately share his newfound abilities. Instead, he closed his eyes to focus, tuning in to the sensations within his body at that very moment.
It wasn't that he was ill or anything. Rather, he was attuned to the unique power now coursing through him—the blood of a Saiyan. After the lottery, Ryan received the gift of the Saiyan bloodline, and without hesitation, he used it.
Instantly, he could feel the change. His entire body seemed to have expanded, yet when he looked in the mirror, his outward appearance hadn't shifted. It was as though, deep inside, his potential was growing at an astonishing rate.
Ryan had a very distinct sensation as if he were evolving with each passing second. Though there had been a limit remover before, this change felt far more intense.
"Am I a pure-blooded Saiyan now, or a hybrid?" Ryan wondered internally.
While pure-blooded Saiyans were known for their incredible strength, they were also often short-tempered. But right now, Ryan didn't feel those usual irritability symptoms. Something felt different, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it.
