"It seems Kingpin really likes you; the cost of these things must be quite high!" Hode didn't care much about the spider robots at all; instead, he looked at the little spider beside him with a teasing expression.

"Stay focused! These guys are not easy to deal with!" Gwen's posture dropped low, her expression serious behind the mask, and the large eyes on the mask frowned tightly. She had previously fought against these things, and both their agility and power were top-notch. In fact, their reflexes were nearly on par with hers even in complex terrain.

Boom!

In the next moment, missiles with trailing flames were launched from beneath the spider robots. Over twenty missiles soared into the air like fireworks, reaching the two in an instant.

"Damn it! Get out of the way!" Gwen suddenly leaped to one side. She never expected that they not only mass-produced these but also equipped them with missiles.

As the missiles flew toward them, Hode casually caught one that was heading straight for his face. The others exploded violently against him like a torrential downpour.

Boom!!!

With a series of deafening blasts, the area where Hode stood was engulfed in continuous flames. The force of the missiles lifted the surrounding ground, sending debris flying in all directions. From above, it looked like a mushroom cloud had formed. The terrifying power even scorched the nearby land black, and surrounding objects were thrown away by the sheer force.

"!!! Unicorn!" Gwen's pupils shook violently; her comrade, who had fought alongside her just moments ago, was killed in the missile barrage! She felt slightly breathless, unable to comprehend how things had escalated to this.

"Fools!"Kingpin watched the scene on the tablet, draining his glass of wine in one gulp. He knew that with such concentrated missile fire, even those so-called superheroes couldn't possibly block it! The missiles installed here were top-of-the-line military-grade missiles once sold by Stark Industries!

However, as the thick smoke gradually cleared, a robust figure emerged, standing firm amidst the remnants of smoke, untouched. The ground around had turned to scorched earth, yet the surface of the armor showed no signs of damage.

"This armor is quite tough." Hode stretched his limbs, feeling no aches or pains, not even a hint of itchiness. He had previously worried whether the armor could withstand the barrage. Unexpectedly, even more than twenty missiles only caused him to tremble slightly.

"Damn! How is this possible!"Kingpin instinctively released his wine glass, the deep red wine spilling onto his dress shirt. But he paid no attention to this; instead, he glared at the screen with a twisted expression.

"Mr.Kingpin, maybe... I should just leave!" The guest sitting opposite him appeared hesitant, preparing to make a hasty exit. He was merely here to conduct business and hadn't planned to risk his life.

"Don't worry, it'll be fine!"Kingpin spoke urgently to salvage the client, then turned to his subordinates and shouted, "Kill him! Get rid of him!"

He had faced countless enemies before; however, this was the first time he felt such shame. His client was right in front of him, and yet he couldn't even deal with an unknown minor character!

Whoosh!

WithKingpin's command, over twenty spider robots immediately split into two teams, charging towards Hode and Gwen.

Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!!!

As the spider robots closed in, their legs struck like sharp spears, whooshing toward the two. Enhanced by the engines, these spider legs carried immense force, each strike akin to an armor-piercing round.

"Be careful, their data model is equipped with combat techniques from martial arts masters!" Gwen shouted while evading the pursuing spider robots. "They even have basic AI chips to counter various attacks!"

"It's fine!" Hode seemed to see all the surrounding scenes, easily dodging all the attacks from the spider legs. He even nonchalantly grabbed one leg and elbowed it to break.

Every movement was devoid of panic, even displaying some semblance of elegance.

Gwen ducked to avoid a spider leg and, out of the corner of her eye, witnessed this scene, her mind buzzing. Who the heck is this guy? Even now, he can utilize martial arts techniques so intricately to counter!
