An Extra’s POV

Chapter 905: Crashout [Pt 1]

Alicia was gone.

The moment Rey accepted that, something broke inside him.

All of his emotions—his rage, grief, hatred… and so much more—vanished in the blink of an eye.

None of it was left.

'I… what have I been doing all this time?' Rey asked himself.

Despite his mission, despite his knowledge of the atrocities of the Dragons, there was a part of him that had considered them redeemable. He had hoped he could somehow change things and make the world better as a result.

'I was wrong.'

Rey could see it now—it was as clear as day to him.

'All Dragons are my enemies… and all my enemies are evil.' His cold mind calculated. 'So…'

It was clear to him now.

'... All Dragons are EVIL!'

The moment Rey accepted this, he felt a heavy weight being lifted from his body, and the last remnant of emotions within him—hope—vanished instantly.

Only one thing remained.

The Mission.

'ELIMINATE ALL DRAGONS!'

**********

S'ith stood across from Rey, his silver-like scales gleaming in the flickering light of the Chamber of Ancients.

"Kill me? Pfft! I must admit, I expected more from 'The Rey'… but all I see are empty threats."

He chuckled, taking a step forward.

In his mind, the old one couldn't help but rejoice at the cruelty he had just performed.

'I've successfully broken him. He might be strong, but his weak mind can't handle losing someone so precious.' His grin broadened. 'There's no doubt he'll lash out at me with clouded judgment.'

And once that happened, he would swiftly eliminate him.

"Now, are you going to just stand there, or—?"

Rey moved.

~BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!!!~

In an instant, the chamber exploded with motion. The floor shattered as Rey launched himself toward S'ith, his body trailing a surge of destructive energy.

S'ith raised his hand, manipulating the space between them to warp reality itself. The distance stretched infinitely, but Rey's sheer power tore through the distortion, closing the gap in an instant.

'Ahh… impressive!'

S'ith barely managed to sidestep as Rey's fist collided with the ground, unleashing a shockwave that obliterated the surrounding walls. The entire structure groaned under the pressure as debris rained down from above.

~RUMBLE!!!~

"You're faster than I thought," S'ith admitted, his tone still mocking as he warped space around himself, disappearing and reappearing at another corner of the chamber. "But speed is meaningless against the one who controls all time."

With a flick of his wrist, S'ith froze the world around him. Time came to a halt as he approached Rey, his clawed hand raised to strike.

"You should have stayed down," he muttered as he aimed for Rey's heart.

But then, something impossible happened.

Rey's body twitched.

S'ith's eyes widened in shock as Rey broke free from the frozen time, his fist colliding with the Dragon Lord's chest. The impact sent S'ith flying through several walls, each one crumbling into dust as he crashed through them.

"How—?!"

Rey didn't give him time to finish. Appearing above S'ith mid-flight, Rey brought both hands down in a devastating blow. The Dragon Lord slammed into the ground, forming a massive crater that swallowed what remained of the chamber.

~BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!~

S'ith rose from the rubble, coughing as golden blood dripped from his lips. His previously confident expression was replaced with one of disbelief.

"You… you're not supposed to be able to move in my domain!" he roared, spreading his arms wide.

The air around him rippled violently as time and space bent to his will.

This was the culmination of his two Perfect Divine Skills: [Perfect Divine Time Control] and [Perfect Divine Space Control].

With this power, he was able to completely erase Alicia by cutting her off at a particular moment in time and completely displacing her in time.

As a result, she never existed in the present.

But… what was this?

'My Perfect Divine Skills have no effect on him for some reason.' The Great Old Dragon Lord thought to himself.

That meant Rey had reached—if not transcended—that level already.

'Since that's the case… I'll just overwhelm him with my Pure Stats.'

S'ith already knew that Rey was slower than him, and if the current strength he was displaying was the limit of his power, then the boy still had ways to go before arriving at the his level.

'My Stats are all in the hundreds of thousands. He doesn't stand a cha—!"

"[Idle Gamble]... Full Return!"

Rey's chilling words echoed all across the shattered Chamber of Ancients, sending a shockwave of power spreading everywhere at once.

Then—

"Automatic Stat Distribution… activate."

—A true burst of power arrived.

~VWUUUUUUMMMM!!!~

The sheer intensity of the energy that was gathering around Rey was enough to make the Great Old Dragon Lord shiver.

He had never felt so much energy before.

Except for one entity… One supreme entity.

'No! This can't be!' He growled, gritting his teeth as he decided to unleash his full power as well. 'I refuse to accept THAT!'

~BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!~

"I am the master of creation and destruction! The loyal herald of the ultimate Emperor of the ultimate race! You cannot defeat me!"

Rey stepped forward, unfazed by the chaos.

His aura grew darker, denser, as if his very presence defied the laws of the world.

"You talk too much," he said coldly.

S'ith's laughter echoed in the ruins of the Chamber of Ancients. "Is that so? Well, why don't you come and shut me up?"

It was clear what he wanted to do.

He was goading Rey, reeling him in like a hunter does with prey.

But, amidst everything, the boy was calm.

"Dragons…" He muttered, his voice low and cold.

S'ith paused mid-taunt, tilting his head. "Hm? What was that, boy?"

Rey raised his head to meet S'ith's gaze, his eyes devoid of any light.

"Dragons," he repeated, louder this time. "You're all the same. Arrogant. Cruel. Monsters masquerading as something greater."

S'ith's grin wavered, if only for a second.

"Careful, whelp. You're treading on dangerous ground."

"Dangerous?" A hollow laugh escaped Rey. "There's nothing dangerous about you… or the rest of your people."

The energy around him surged, crackling with uncontrollable fury. The air grew thick, the oppressive weight of his power warping the environment.

The remnants Chamber began to tremble, stones splintering and falling from the ceiling.

"You are all just evil."
