Ancient Magic From The Stars

Sirius POV

Heading over to the control chair I sat down hoping that I had understood the small amount of information I have been able to access after the repository download. It will take a few days before we will be able to understand all of it but for now I know enough to make rudimentary plans with Remus and Cinthy. I sat in the chair and almost like breathing I just knew what to do. It was like the chair was talking to me asking me what I wanted to see. Jokingly I thought of my name and a holographic image of the star Sirius close to the Orion belt took shape in front of all of us. It was beautiful almost like the vast expanse of space was crammed into the room with us and I had the urge to travel the stars to see what was out there in the universe. 

Remus was standing there with his mouth open and Cinthy wasn't much better although she was also shaking with excitement that much was obvious. Remus looked up at me and said, "We need to plan this out before we leave Sirius." I knew he said that to stop me from just running off through the gate but I couldn't help but think he was a spoil sport. It was after this thought that Cinthy said, "Can we go home so I can work on my occlumency training with Uncle Moony? I would really like to get a handle on all this knowledge so that I can help you both plan things out." I stood from the chair cutting off the image and ruffled her hair and said, "Sure pup we can get out of here. We wont do much until after we let all the information soak in and we can figure things out." 

Back at the manor Remus and I walked into the portrait hall to give a rundown of the day to Lily and James. 

Hyacinth POV

Back at the manor Dad and Uncle Moony left to go and talk to Mum and Dad James while I made a run for the library to look up any information on Occlumency. With so many books in the library there has to be at least a few on occlumency. Finding a few tucked into the corner I settled down for a marathon of reading.

Once I started it was like I couldn't stop. The way I was absorbing the information I was seeing on the page changed. It became easier to understand what I was reading the longer I continued, it was amazing. I have always enjoyed reading, it was hard not to when your whole life was torture. I love to fall onto the different worlds within the various pages of all the different stories out there. I was an escape from the hell that was the Dursley's but this was different it was like I could take in and understand the information in the book by just looking at it. I wonder if the repository rewired my brain to be able to take in new information easier. I'll have to ask Dad and Uncle Moony about it after they are done talking to Mum and Dad James. 

Remus POV

After talking with James and Lily we had a better understanding about what was going on. The Potters have know about what was out in the universe for a while but have kept it as a family secret for centuries. They felt the general population not ready for the information quite yet, but with the various wars some of the information had been lost. It was only because Sirius had a blood bond of brotherhood with me and James and had blood adopted Cinthy that we were even able to enter the vault which even Lily hadn't been to due to the war. Speaking of the war I am now officially pissed off at that bearded bumbling dumbass that parades himself off as the leader of the light. He has done nothing but help perpetuate the stagnation and in some cases regression of the wizarding world. One of the main examples is here at Potter manor with the lights though not run on electricity they function in almost the same way. As far as the rune work is concerned it is quite brilliant actually. I have to ask Sirius if I can take one apart so that maybe we can start a business to bring in some profits for our upcoming adventures. If what I am seeing from the information from the repository is correct we are going to need a lot of startup funds to begin or trip through space. 

This will be a long and tedious journey to even get to the starting line. I turned to Sirius and said, "You know we have a lot to do before we can even start prepping the materials to head off world right?" Sirius looked at me with a look that screamed you think before he said, "I also want to go and see about the outpost in the Arctic if it's still there we may be able to help you with your fury problem." 

Stunned I stopped dead in my tracks as the information about the outpost with a limited medical lab flashed to the forefront of my thoughts. A smile graced my lips as I hugged my brother and said, "I knew I loved you for a reason Paddy." Sirius just let out a laugh as he shook his head and walked right into his room closing the door behind him. Leaving to my room with thoughts of a cure to my fury problem all I can think about. I should see if I can get a sample of the wolfsbane potion so that the med-bed can analyze it. With these thoughts running through my head I was finally able to drift off to sleep with a general plan of where to start come tomorrow morning.
