ROBIN'S POV

Rosalie's glare could have set fire to the snow outside, and if Isaac smirked any harder from his spot in the kitchen, I was going to wipe it off his face with a snowball.

"You have five seconds to explain," Rosalie said, her tone sweetly menacing, "before I consider 'yeeting' you into orbit." she' said doing and air quote with her hands, God, I see that I rubbed on to her in more ways than one. So proud. Cue fake happy tears.

The rest of the Denali clan lingered at the edges of the room, pretending to be busy but clearly riveted by the scene. Emmett's muffled chuckle came from another room, followed by Kate hissing at him to keep it down.

*Okay, okay!* I signed and then I raised my hands, trying to look as non-threatening as possible then signed again *It's not what it sounds like. I didn't almost have a baby—well, not really. And definitely not on purpose!*

Rosalie's golden eyes narrowed. "So, you almost did?"

Oh boy. Not a good start.

*Rosie, I didn't even know I could—you know, with another woman,* I admitted, i tried to make myself look smaller and pitiful and cute, *It was a shock to me too.* I then pouted a little bit, giving her the puppy dog eyes.

I gave her a pleading look, asking her to believe me. Still not working guys!

*Well,* I said, scratching the back of my neck first, I reluctantly continue, *remember Olivia? The human I helped a while back?*

Her eyes narrowed further. "The one you lived with? Yeah, I remember."

*It wasn't like that!* I rushed to explain. *Her ex was dangerous, and she needed protection. I was just... doing the right thing. And then Alice warned me things could get... complicated if I stayed.*

"Complicated how?" Rosalie's tone was sharp enough to cut through stone.

*Alice said the future looked... messy. Blood, violence, heartbreak—you know, the usual Cullen drama. So, I left before things could get any messier. I swear, nothing happened.*

Rosalie stared at me for a long moment, her expression unreadable. Finally, she sighed, pinching the bridge of her nose. "You're lucky I love you, Robin. Otherwise..."

*Otherwise, I'd be on a one-way trip to outer space?* I offered with a weak smile.

She nodded solemnly. "Oh, definitely."

Isaac, still leaning against the kitchen counter, raised his glass of blood-wine in salute. "This is the best free entertainment I've had in years."

*Shut it, Isaac,* I told him, giving him the finger, though I couldn't help a smirk. *Shouldn't you be annoying Emmett right about now?*

"Don't mind me," Emmett called from the next room, clearly delighted. "I'm enjoying the show!"

Rosalie sighed, shaking her head. "I can't believe I'm mated to you."

*Hey!* I protested. *I'm a charming disaster, thank you very much.*

I look back at the others who stepped away from me and rosalie earlier. Even my own coven! (Insert your fave shocked/offended gif here).

I don't know when and how they did it, but they all have their own glass with animal blood in it, just watching us with amusement, I'm pretty sure there would've been popcorn or melon seed there, and they'll be munching on them while watching me suffer.

They just sent me mixed reactions when my eyes landed on them, giving them an 'I can't believe you guys!', mixed sheepish and wry smiles, and unapologetic ones were there.

But setting the walking deads, I'll deall with them later.

I kinda wanna remind Rosalie about us being able to have a baby... But the mood just got ok, I'm not sure how she'll react, or if I should, in people's understanding here... Like them, I shouldn't have the knowledge that I could get buns in my fellow womens ovens, let alone a vampire! I'm sure it'll come up later, someone in this whole bigass family will remember and brealize it... I need to figure out how I'll handle it.

I don't want a baby, yet. Nuh uh. Don't get me wrong, babies are cute, they smell nice, huggable, and yeetable, I love them, but I kinda just want it to just be us for a while, me and Rosie. Were gonna be together for a long time, we don't have to rush right? why don't we time it to when Eddie's and Bella's baby? So we don't have to deal with the whole preggo situation, whole vamp society going gaga with vamps making babies.

I'm pretty sure more people will focus on me tho, because I'd literally be able to make babies with a female vampire... male vampire, getting human female preggo, bot as much as a surprise, because the female still is alive, a working womb, the Vamps believe they're dead, dead bodies cant grow babies, so a female vampire getting pregnant will cause an uproar.

Anywho.

Thanks for that ROB! This is a for real thanks. You might have forcefully reincarnated me, but you did give me this great skill as a gift, so i don't dislike you as much anymore... I even accidentally made everyone in my family to praise or mention your name right? I think that's good for goods right? I dunno how ROB's work, if you die if no one worships you anymore or something.

FAST FORWARD TO EVENING

Later that night, after the drama simmered down, Rosalie and I ended up outside under the stars. The porch swing creaked slightly as we swayed back and forth, the snow falling gently around us.

I didn't forget about the others ok. We just need a breather, metaphorically, because vampires don't do much of breathing. But it's a bit crowded inside, and with all that happened earlier, I need to calm down, same with my love, she even got into a physical fight with Jane. I'm still gonna punish them.

But as we sit here right now... Trying to ignore the obviously still snooping others from inside, because we didn't go too far so no one could complain about us going off on own again.

It felt right... I suddenly had this urge to do something I've always wanted to do, dreamed and tried to do multiple times before we broke up.

It's now or never.

I couldn't stop glancing at her, her golden hair shimmering like it had its own light source. I mean, how did I get this lucky?

"Rosie," I blurted out before I could stop myself.

She turned, one eyebrow raised. "What?"

"I love you."

She gave me a small smile. "I know."

"And I know I'm a total disaster—like, top-tier chaos gremlin disaster—but I want to be your disaster forever."

Her eyes softened, and she tilted her head slightly. "Robin... Again, like I just said, I know. "

"No, wait, I'm serious!" I said, suddenly standing. "You make me better. You're the best thing that's ever happened to me, and I want to spend forever proving to you that I can be... well, less of a disaster. Mostly."

She laughed quietly, shaking her head. "You're unbelievable."

"I mean it!" I sank back onto one knee in front of her, holding up... nothing.

Her brows furrowed. "What are you doing?"

"I don't have a ring," I admitted sheepishly. "But I've got... uh…" I patted my jacket, pulling out a random, slightly bent paperclip. "This! It's symbolic, you know? Strong, versatile—just like us!"

Rosalie stared at me, her lips twitching as if she couldn't decide whether to laugh or cry. "Are you seriously proposing to me with a paperclip?"

"Yes," I said, deadpan. "And I stand by it."

She burst out laughing, the sound like music in the cold air.

"You're insane," she said, still laughing.

"And you're smiling," I pointed out. "So, does that mean yes?"

Rosalie leaned forward, cupping my face in her hands. "Yes, Robin. But—"

"There's always a but," I muttered.

She grinned. "But let's not rush into this. We have all the time in the world, and frankly, you could use a few years to figure out how not to get yourself killed every other week."

"Fair," I said, grinning. "Does this mean I'm allowed to upgrade the paperclip in a few years?"

"Maybe," she teased. "If you earn it."

~~

When we walked back into the house, we were greeted by Isaac, who was holding a sign that said, "Congrats on not being rejected!"

"Wow," I said dryly. "Did you just have that lying around?"

He shrugged. "Bitch, You're predictable."

The rest of the Denali clan quickly joined in, cheering, laughing, and—of course—making jokes at my expense.

"So," Emmett said, clapping me on the back so hard I nearly fell over, "what's the engagement gift? Let me guess—matching paperclip necklaces?"

"Don't give her ideas," Rosalie muttered, though she was smiling.

"You're all just jealous," I said, throwing an arm around Rosalie. "Because I got the girl! And we're technically engaged now, and technically got you beat!"

Isaac raised a glass. "To the chaos gremlin and her queen!"

"To the chaos gremlin!" Emmett bellowed, and the room erupted into laughter and clinking glasses.

I grinned, looking around at the ridiculous, messy, wonderful family I'd somehow stumbled into. Yeah, I was a disaster. But I was her disaster. And with Rosalie by my side, I could handle anything.

As the laughter in the room finally settled and I looked around at everyone—Rosalie, the Denalis, the Cullens—I felt something shift in me. A slow, creeping chill, like frost spreading over a windowpane.

My grin lingered, but my eyes narrowed. The room seemed to quiet, and Isaac, ever the observant one, froze mid-sip of his blood-wine.

"Now," I said, my voice deceptively sweet, "with everything settled between me and my lovely mate…" I paused, glancing at Rosalie, who gave me a curious look but didn't say anything.

I turned back to the group, my smile widening into something that would make even a vampire's undead heart skip a beat. "Let's get back to the real issue here, shall we?"

The air in the room dropped ten degrees.

"You all lied to me."

Esme blinked, looking genuinely confused. "Robin, what are you—"

"Oh no, no, no," I interrupted, raising a hand. "Don't you 'Robin' me, Mom—sorry, Esme. We're not at Mom-and-Dad status right now."

Carlisle frowned. "What's this about?"

"Oh, just the small, insignificant detail where you all failed to mention that Rosalie was turned into a vampire and then kept here for years without telling me!" My voice rose with each word, and even Emmett, who usually found everything hilarious, stopped grinning.

"I mean, really!" I continued, pacing the room now like a deranged professor giving a lecture. "Was it a group decision? Did you take a vote? 'Hey, let's all gaslight Robin into thinking everything's fine while his mate is living in cold-blooded exile?'"

"Robin," Edward began, his voice calm. Too calm. "You don't understand—"

"Don't Edward-splain me!" I snapped, pointing a finger at him. "You of all people should know better, mind-reader. Did you think I wouldn't figure it out eventually?"

"Well…" He had the decency to look sheepish.

"And don't even get me started on you, Emmett!" I whirled on him.

"What did I do?" Emmett asked, holding up his hands.

"You knew Rosalie and I were bonded, and you just let me flail around like an idiot for years. Years, Emmett! Do you know how many sleepless nights I spent thinking she was gone forever?! That she was still with that man, married, and forgetting about me! Among everyone here, you wrote to me the most, while I appreciate that, it also meant that you had all those letters that you could've told me the truth!"

Emmett opened his mouth to respond, but I cut him off.

"No, no excuses!" I said, pacing again. "This calls for justice. Robin-style justice."

"Justice?" Isaac asked, leaning against the wall with a smirk. "This should be good."

"Oh, it will be," I said, my grin returning. "Let's start with the twins, and you guys, shall we?"

My children and the Denali's.

"You lot," I said, pointing at them. "Kneel. Face the wall. And don't move until I say so."

"What?!" Tanya exclaimed. "That's ridiculous! We didn't even do anything!"

"You were complicit by association," I said smugly. "Wall. Now."

Grumbling, they did as I said, Kate muttering something about how this was "the stupidest punishment ever."

Next, I turned to Edward, who sighed heavily as if he already knew what was coming.

"Edward," I said, rubbing my hands together. "Congratulations! You're everyone's new punching bag during combat training."

"Are you serious?" he asked, looking horrified.

"Oh, I'm dead serious," I said, grinning. "Think of it as a bonding experience. You know, for the family you so kindly decided to manipulate!"

Yes, I'm pretty sure you suggested it! Seriously, like in the canon, you make dumb decisions. Well I can't really speak much about this, because I too had made dumb decisions, but lets not dwell on my shortcomings for now ok?

"You!" I pointed at Emmett, "You're gonna be reaponsible for hunting game for me, and grocery shopping for my food, you'll go with mo- I mean Esme, when she goes out to shop, you're gonna be carrying things for her until I say you're forgiven."

Emmett didnt look upset about the punishment, and just nodded, looking sorry.

Then, I pivoted sharply toward Isaac, who was still lounging smugly in his corner.

"Isaac," I said, voice dripping with menace.

His smirk faltered. "Me? What did I do?!"

"You mean besides keeping Rosalie's existence from me, lying to my face, and going along with this whole fiasco?" I tapped my chin dramatically. "Oh, nothing much. That's why your punishment is…"

I paused for effect.

"You're Edward's tag-team partner."

Isaac's jaw dropped. "What does that even mean?"

"It means when Edward needs a break from being everyone's personal punching bag, you're up next." I grinned. "Every training session. No exceptions."

Isaac groaned, throwing his head back. "This is absurd."

"You know what else is absurd? Gaslighting your best friend!!!" I shot back, crossing my arms.

Rosalie chuckled softly beside me, clearly enjoying this far more than she should.

Wrapping It Up

By the time I was done doling out punishments, the room was in various states of disbelief, annoyance, and poorly suppressed amusement.

"You're insane," Isaac muttered, glaring at me.

"And yet, I'm the one in charge," I shot back, plopping down on the couch beside Rosalie, who was clearly holding back laughter.

"You're really not going to let this go, are you?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Absolutely not," I said, leaning back with a self-satisfied grin. "If they wanted mercy, they should've thought about that before lying to me."

Rosalie shook her head, but there was a fondness in her gaze that made my heart flip.

"Honestly," she said, "you're ridiculous. But I love you anyway."

"Damn right, you do," I said, pulling her close.

In truth, everyone knew I wasnt truly upset with them anymore because I was able to control my emotions enough for my voice to not affect them, their just following through with my whims because they actually felt guilty.

And as I sat there, surrounded by my punished, grumbling family and my very amused mate, I couldn't help but think: Justice had never tasted so sweet.
