And until you are older you better not be talking about the Survey corps to Carla lest she gets angry again " Siegfried said to Eren with a serious expression causing the latter to nod his head repeatedly as Eren was excited about his Uncle's words of reassurance.

Siegfried just sighed inside his mind as he could see that Eren still couldn't see that darker aspects of this job and how dangerous it is.

Maybe going on an expedition in the future might change the boy's mind.

Siegfried thought himself as the task of convincing Carla in the future was left to the future him.....

Carla smiled a bit as she watched Eren and Sieg sitting together , there was also another emotion brewing inside of her but she quickly shook her head getting rid of any unnecessarry thoughts.

Carla lost count of how many times she had had these inappropriate thoughts which would always make her feel ashamed. She would constantly remind herself that she was a married woman and a mother.

The fact that Grisha was away at the capital most of the time didn't help her case and Siegfried was always there to provide company.

She was grateful that Siegfried was such a respectable man and other than friendship he had never tried anything with her even when there were many opportunities for it.

Carla admitted the fact that she had a slight crush on Siegfried but that was it , she had a husband and she wouldn't betray him.

But sometimes the sinful thoughts were a bit too much , making her commit some sins while she was alone in her bed which would leave her ashamed.

First time she did it , she was mortified. Pleasuring herself while fantasizing about another man was betrayal in her eyes.

But in the end her reason was corrupted by desire , and a small voice in the back of her mind would always convince her that it was just a fantasy and she wasn't doing anything wrong.

It had been months since she last had sex with her husband and it has left her frustrated especially with a hunk like Siegfried living next door.

But Carla wasn't nymphomaniac so she would never let her desires cloud her.

She couldn't blame Grisha for not having sex with her as everytime he came home he would be so tired and exhausted that she could feel it.

She would always feel guilty that he was working so hard while she was here harbouring bad thoughts against his friend.

Both of them have known Siegfried by the time they got married and have gotten along with him well.

Carla had a lot of respect for the man as he was part of the Survey Corps and had been part of many successful expeditions.

Although she may never want her son to be part of the Survey corps ever , it didn't mean she wasn't grateful for their contribution.

It was a bit hypocritical and selfish , but she just couldn't bring herself to send her son on such a dangerous job.

Him clamouring about wanting to be part of the survey corps was enough to make her anxious.

She didn't want to one day experience what those family members of those deceased survey corps members experienced.

She was just like any other Mother wishing for her son's safety...

" So Grisha won't be back today too? " Siegfried asked while biting into an apple.

" Yes ... He has been busy with work lately and rarely comes home " Carla said in a tired and sad tone as she focused on cooking.

Carla had her back turned to him so he couldn't see her sad expression but he could feel her sadness , Siegfried knew how lonely Carla was most of the time and if it were the old him ( the last life with Ruby ) then he would have already capitalised on it.

A lonely housewife in her prime with her husband rarely home and has a male friend to rely on was the perfect opportunity to make the virtuous wife commit a sin.

But Siegfried wasn't like that anymore or atleast he would never hurt his friends.

Not only was Carla his friend but Grisha was also his friend , and if Carla were to do something in the heat of the moment then he was absolutely sure that the guilt would eat her up.

So he had never tried to do anything inappropriate nor harboured any thoughts.

Although Carla wasn't the most beautiful woman he had ever seen she still was attractive in his eyes as he had a thing for mothers.

He didn't know if it was his memories instilling this fondness in him but he just shook his head.

But still his gaze couldn't help but trace her hips and rear for a second before moving away.

Siegfried didn't want to look too much because he respected the woman and he didn't enjoy the idea of ruining families he knew.

Unless the husband was an asshole.

Siegfried suddenly noticed Carla struggling to pick up a tin on the shelf above which made him wonder why she would even bother to put it there.
