"Sup!"
Every angel in sight turned toward me, their eyes filled with holy fury. They began flying in my direction, their golden wings cutting through the air like blades.
The sentries opened fire as soon as the angels got close, arrows whizzing through the air. I took advantage of the distraction and cast my own spell.
"Rain of Arrows!" I shouted, summoning a storm of spectral arrows.
The angels scattered, their agility allowing most of them to dodge the barrage. But not all were lucky—several fell to the ground, golden blood staining the clouds. As their bodies disintegrated, small white orbs floated out and were absorbed into me. Curious, I quickly opened my inventory.
Inventory:
Pure Soul Fragment 4/20
Pure Soul Fragment: A fragment of a pure soul. Collect 20 fragments to create a complete pure soul.
I frowned slightly. "So this is going to take a while," I muttered.
Voltaris's voice echoed in my mind. "Wanna try out my Sacred Gear?"
Grinning, I summoned Chaos Lightning, feeling its raw power course through my body. "Sure," I replied, clenching my fists as purple lightning crackled around me.
The angels charged again, their golden swords raised high. But with my Sacred Gear, I was far faster than them. In an instant, I zipped behind the first wave of attackers and unleashed Hell Flare, engulfing ten of them in crimson flames.
Jumping into the air, I raised my hand and shouted, "Dragon Lightning!"
A massive bolt of purple lightning shot down, striking a cluster of angels and scattering them like leaves in a storm. The explosion lit up the sky, and more soul fragments floated toward me as the defeated angels vanished.
Then, I noticed reinforcements flying in from the horizon. Dozens more angels were closing in, their weapons gleaming as they formed a massive formation.
Cracking an evil smile, I said to myself, "Let's make this fun."
….
The battlefield was drenched in golden blood. Feathers littered the ground, and the lingering energy of fallen angels crackled faintly in the air. Despite the carnage, there was still no sign of the dungeon boss. My pulse quickened at the thought—I was eager for the challenge.
I opened my inventory to check my spoils so far.

Not bad, but I needed one more fragment to complete another soul. I flicked over to my stats to see where I stood.

Satisfied with my progress, I summoned Voltaris for a quick chat. His crackling presence materialized beside me, perched casually on my shoulder in his miniaturized form.
"Sup," he greeted, his voice tinged with amusement.
"Hey," I replied, keeping my eyes on the surrounding area. "What can I do with the angel feathers I've been collecting?"
Voltaris hummed thoughtfully before answering. "You could grind them into powder and use them for potions."
I raised an eyebrow. "Potions? What kind?"
"Minor health, stamina, and mana potions," he explained. "If you dilute the powder properly, one feather could make around twenty-five potions. The same goes for stamina and mana potions."
A business idea sparked in my mind. "What if I start a business? Blacksmithing and potion-making—specifically for the supernatural. I could make weapons and supplies for devils, angels, and whoever else needs them."
Voltaris's eyes gleamed. "That's ambitious, but not a bad idea. You'll need allies, though. Rias and Sona might be willing to help… for the right compensation."
I nodded, already picturing the possibilities. "Exactly what I was thinking. But first, I need to finish this dungeon."
Suddenly, a system notification flashed in my vision.
[Boss Incoming!]
I looked up just in time to see a massive golden magic circle materialize in the sky. From it descended a figure adorned with twelve brilliant golden wings. His divine aura radiated authority and power, and his piercing gaze locked onto me.
I immediately used Observe to get a read on him.

I grinned. "Looks like I'll finally get a real fight."
Quickly, I pulled out several potions—health, mana, and stamina—and downed them in quick succession. Energy surged through my veins as my reserves were restored.
Summoning my Chaos Lightning, I conjured four sentry turrets and set them into position. Their barrels hummed as they locked onto Gabriel, who responded with a sudden charge.
Not one to be outdone, I launched forward to meet him head-on. My gauntlets sparked as lightning danced across my arms, and I channeled that energy into a devastating uppercut.
The blow sent Gabriel rocketing into the sky, but I wasn't about to give him time to recover.
Raising my arms, I roared, "Dragon Lightning!"
Bolts of crackling purple energy erupted from my hands, arcing toward him like angry serpents. Gabriel's wings flared as he tried to counter, but the lightning struck home, engulfing him in an explosion of raw energy.
As the Dragon Lightning struck Gabriel, the crackling arcs of energy enveloped his body, forcing him to cry out in pain. His divine aura flickered, and I seized the opportunity.
Summoning Hell Flare, I hurled it at him, engulfing his body in crimson flames. The impact sent him crashing to the ground, leaving a trail of scorch marks as his golden armor sizzled against the heat.
Gabriel groaned, pushing himself up, but I didn't give him a chance to recover. Leaping into the air, I spun and came down with an ax kick aimed straight for his shoulder. The blow connected, creating a small shockwave, but in his desperation, Gabriel stabbed me in the shoulder with a light spear.
