Aster Flowers

Hendra just looked at me after hearing my words. His brown eyes didn't seem to shift, he looked straight at me. But apparently, that gaze didn't last long. He then blinked and looked away for a moment, then back to me.

“There's no way I'm putting Nalia here, with us. Of course you would feel uncomfortable if she were here,” Hendra said, he explained to me his reasons for separating Nalia.

“But if you put her over there, then she will enjoy her food alone. The female workers around her didn't engage her in conversation at all,” I said, my attention still on Nalia.

“Asya, don't care too much about her. Nalia is just my personal secretary, has no relationship with you. Besides, she was known to be quiet in this office. So just let her be as comfortable as possible,” Hendra said, he emphasized his words.

Now my eyes are focused on Hendra. I could see his stern face getting fiercer as if forbidding me from caring about Nalia. I could only let out a long sigh, and lower my shoulders. I lowered my face, and nodded slowly.

“Yes, I will not pay any more attention to your personal secretary. I will no longer interfere between her and your work,” I said, I replied to Hendra's words in a low voice.

“That's not it, Asya. Don't immediately act like you don't care about me. I'm your fiancé, it's natural that you should know what I do,” Hendra said, he straightened his shoulders as if to show that he was a little surprised by what I said.

I just nodded slightly. After that, I lowered my gaze. Now my focus is on the bowl of corn soup that hasn't finished yet. I intend to eat it again. Until I realized Hendra's hand was holding mine.

“Don't be angry with me, Sya. I can't bear to accept your ignoring behavior towards me. After this, we go to the middle of the office park, okay?” Hendra said, his voice so soft as if to show that he was sorry in front of me.

“Whatever you say. I'll come with you later, after we finish our lunch,” I said, I gave Hendra the answer.

“I'll finish this food quickly. So that we can have time together,” Hendra said, he showed me a little smile.

I just nodded. After that, I took my hand off Hendra. My gaze fell on the bowl of corn soup and intended to finish it immediately. While I was enjoying corn soup, I glanced at Hendra.

I noticed that Hendra was currently enjoying his corn soup. I tried to ignore him, and continued to eat the corn soup near me.

Eight minutes later, I had finished my corn soup. I took a glass of coke to drink. After quenching my thirst, I finally took a cheese burger and ate it.

As I devoured the cheeseburger in my hand, I looked up at Hendra. He looked engrossed in enjoying the cheeseburger in his hand. Then my attention was focused on Nalia, the woman was currently enjoying the food that Hendra ordered for her.

I turned my attention to my right. Several workers had finished their lunch, I saw them returning to their work room. My gaze averted when I realized that the cheeseburger in my hand was almost finished.

I bit off the last piece of the cheeseburger and ate it. After finishing, I drank half a glass of coke. Once finished, I put the glass back on the table. I then directed my gaze at Hendra. I watched him drink a glass of coke in his hand.

Hendra had finished drinking. Now he directed his attention to me. Before long, he showed a smile on his lips. I couldn't help but notice how clear Hendra's brown eyes were when they looked at me.

But apparently, my attention on him didn't last long. Because I saw a nod from Hendra. I could only raise one eyebrow upwards.

“We're going to the middle of the office park now. I think, it will take longer if we delay the time. I also have to finish my work soon, but it's okay if I have to spend some time together for us,” Hendra said, he invited me to go to the office park.

“Let's go now. I also can't wait to breathe fresh air in your office park,” I said, I gave an answer to Hendra's invitation.

I stood up when I saw Hendra get up from his seat. I walked a little to get closer to Hendra's position. At that moment, Hendra touched and intertwined his hand in mine.

We then walked together towards the office park. The distance we traveled was not much. It's just that we have to go through the stairs to get to the bottom floor. I noticed several office workers walking around us. It seems that this office is always busy with people's activities.

We finally arrived at the office park. A park filled with trees of various sizes, from tall to shrubs. Several flowers also appear to decorate the garden in this office. Hendra and I continued walking along the road that led us to the middle of the park.

So we chose to sit on a park bench near the fountain where the water looked so fresh. I could hear the sound of water gurgling between the fountain and the pool not far from our current position.

I sat next to Hendra. I can see how his stern face is currently relaxing enjoying the scenery around us. I think there's no harm in kissing one of his cheeks. Since there's no one around us, there's nothing wrong if I do it now.

Hendra turned to me when I finished kissing one of his cheeks. His brown eyes looked at me so full. Until I could see myself in his brown eyes.

“Honey, I still don't feel good about you. Is it true that you have forgiven me and are no longer angry with me?” Hendra said, he started a conversation with me.

I frowned, my eyes narrowing at him. Now my gaze is only locked on Hendra. I didn't expect that he would ask me this again.

“You invited me here just to ask me about this problem, Ndra?” I said, I didn't think he would discuss this issue with me again.
