Author Reincarnated as Villain

Chapter 4: Chapter 4 : Hell Training I

Van and his mother finally entered the room.

Upon entering, Van's gaze immediately fell on the pair of twin babies sleeping on the bed.

"It seems they are asleep," said Van's mother.

Van stood still, staring at the two babies, and began to think about the future.

Oliver Black, the future strongest swordsman. His destiny as a swordsman would begin when he inherited the [Sword of Hero], which was located in the basement of the Black family mansion.

Olivia Black, the future strongest sorceress. Her magical talent was inherited from her mother and even surpassed her mother's abilities.

"Van, what do you think about your two younger siblings?" Van's mother asked, smiling.

"They will surely become very strong," Van answered flatly.

"It seems you also have high expectations for your siblings," his mother replied.

"The whole family has high expectations for all three of you..." she continued, but stopped before finishing her sentence.

"Is something wrong, Mom?" Van asked.

"Nothing. Let's go. It's time for dinner," his mother said.

They finally arrived at the dining room.

When they arrived, Van saw that his father was already seated, waiting for them.

"Where have you two been? I've been starving waiting for you," said Van's father.

"We just visited Oliver and Olivia," Victoria replied with a smile.

"Ah, I see. Come, sit down quickly. I'm really hungry."

Victoria and Van sat down at the table, and food was soon served to the three of them.

Seeing the large, luxurious amount of food, Van was left speechless.

One plate of food on the table was equivalent to several months of his earnings from writing novels.

Van then looked at his father and tried to gauge just how strong his father was.

P.O.V. Van

'Such terrifying power,' I thought.

Since I created the novel [Naive Hero], I had designed the concept of strength in this world.

[Strength] means every strike is measured in kilograms. For example, if the strength stat is 1,000, your power is equivalent to a truck collision with 1,000 kg of force.

[Agility] means your speed is measured in kilometers per hour. For instance, if the agility stat is 1,200, your speed is equivalent to 1,200 km/h.

[Defense] means how resistant you are to an attack. If the defense stat is 1,000, you can withstand attacks from a strength below 1,000 without suffering severe injury.

[Mental] means how tough your mind is when facing a situation. The higher your mental strength, the easier it is to think critically and logically in any situation.

Level 100 is the peak of power in this world, but the strongest creatures in the world are currently only at level 80.

The only creature that has ever reached level 100 in this world is the Demon King.

As for my father, who has reached level 65, he can certainly be considered one of the strongest in the world.

"Van, you're already four years old, right?" asked my father.

Hearing my father's question, I could immediately guess what he would say next.

"Yes, Father," I answered, putting a piece of steak into my mouth.

Mmm, this steak is delicious.

Is this Wagyu A5?

"That means you're old enough to start training. At first, I planned to train you as a swordsman, but your talent suggests otherwise," said my father.

It's true what my father said.

I designed Van's talent to excel in the [101 Shadows] skill.

In addition, Van is designed with a very high IQ.

That's why Van is always very good at planning.

Besides, villains who are dumb and only good at fighting sound rather cliché and boring. Even so, Van's talent with weapons is actually quite good. Far better than the average human, but not as terrifying as the talent of a monster born for the sword.

"However, you have a unique trait that only you possess, Van. You've inherited the unique skill of the Black family ancestors! [101 Shadows]!!!" said my father with an expression of great excitement.

Seeing the excessive joy on my father's face made me think he might be suffering from a mental disorder.

But, honestly, it's understandable why my father is so happy.

The skill that made the Black family famous in the past has now been passed down to one of the next generation. And that generation just happens to be his son.

"Alright, Father," I responded flatly.

"Don't you feel even a little excited? It seems you really have difficulty showing your emotions," my father said, disappointed as he looked at my face.

"Even if I don't express myself, I'm still me, Father," I replied.

"Yes, you're right," my father said happily, as if he had regained his energy.

"So, what should I do?" asked Van.

"You can train on your own. This skill develops based on the user's abilities. If you need help, don't hesitate to ask me or your mother," replied my father.

"Alright," I replied flatly, continuing my dinner.

*CHIRP

Hearing the sound of birds chirping in my ears, I opened my eyes.

The sunlight streaming through the window illuminated my face.

'What a restful sleep,' I thought.

Although the setting of this world is in the medieval era, the development of magic has made technology slightly more advanced compared to the medieval period in my previous life.

For instance, there are simple fire and ice runes on the walls of my room, which make my room cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

After collecting my thoughts, I quickly put on simple clothes and went to the front yard of the mansion.

When I arrived at the mansion's front yard, I saw soldiers doing their warm-up exercises.

[Ding! Daily Mission Detected]

[Push up (0/1,000)]

[Sit up (0/1,000)]

[Pull up (0/1,000)]

[Squat (0/1,000)]

[Plank (0/100)]

[Run (0/100)]

[Time: 6 hours]

[Reward: 1 Attribute Point]

[Penalty: The Fallen World]

F*ck!

System is broken!

Is this what you call a daily mission?

What kind of hellish training is this?!

Have you ever seen a little kid do 1,000 push-ups and hold a plank for 100 minutes?!

'I'll teach that damn god a lesson when I see him again,' I thought, starting to get into push-up position.
