Barefaced

"What did he mean by that, Aimi?" Hana walks closer towards to Aimi. Aimi slowly looks down. "Aimi?"

"I'm leaving at the beginning of next month..." Aimi slowly says. Your eyes widen. You didn't think she would leave so soon.

"Why?" Hana softly asks.

"Because..." Aimi slowly looks up at Hana. You can't tell if Aimi is about to cry or not because of how wet she is from the rain, but she has a really sad look on her face. "I'm transferring schools..." Aimi continues.

"What? Where?" Hana's eyes widen.

"The United States." Aimi answers. Hana stands still staring at Aimi.

"You... are... going to be far..." Hana lamented looking down.

"I'm sorry..." Aimi sniffles. "I don't want to go but I have no choice..." Aimi continues. Hana slowly looks up at Aimi and frowns.

"My brother is right... and I deserve this... I'm a bad friend... a bad daughter... a bad person in general. I lie... hide things... I-" Aimi starts.

"Aimi..." Hana sniffles. "You aren't a bad person..."

"I am though..." Aimi sobs. "I'm fake... and pretend to be something else..."

"So am I" You randomly comment. Aimi, Hana, and Eli look at you. "I am horrible too... remember? After my mother passed away, I treated everyone badly... but you all act like I didn't..." You add.

"Because we knew you were just having a hard time..." Aimi replies.

"But still... I treated you all horrible..." You sigh.

"Yeah, but we forgive you. We understand you were going through a tough time... you were sad... sometimes when someone's sad they can get really angry... and lash out. You aren't a horrible person Yuki... things just happen." Hana replies.

"Exactly... things just happen..." You say looking at Aimi. "You are having a hard time, Aimi. You aren't a horrible person... sometimes people may need help. That's okay. We don't think you're horrible Aimi... I don't think your dad thinks the same way." You add.

"Maybe you should finally talk to him. Maybe then... you both can meet eye to eye." Eli comments. Aimi stares at Eli with a sad look on her face before nodding. 

"You're a great friend Yuki..." Aimi replies. 

"So are you..." You speak. "Even if you're thousands of miles away... I will always be waiting here for you... but it's okay because when you get back home, we will be here for you. You mean that much to us." You sooth.

"Yes... and I don't care what you have done in the past... You're a great person Aimi... just a little broken and that's okay." Hana comments. Aimi frowns slowly nodding her head. Hana hugs Aimi and Aimi hugs her back tightly. You softly smile at them.

You hear a motorcycle in the distance. You look into the direction you hear the noise from.

"We should go somewhere warm and dry..." Eli implies.

"Yeah... let's go..." Hana says pulling Aimi with her. You walk past them towards the noise. Eli notices and turns to look at you.

"Yuki... where are you going?" Eli asks.

"Uh-" You turn around to look at them. "I need to go get something... I will join you all in a bit... don't worry about me... keep going." You say motioning them to continue walking. 

"Are you sure?" Hana asks.

"Yeah." You reply turning around. They continue walking. You quickly walk towards the noise. You exit out the trees and towards a staircase. You stop and look around. There's only an empty parking lot and a warehouse. You notice someone on a motorcycle in the parking lot. You squint your eyes to get a closer look at them. They are leaning back on their motorcycle. You slowly walk down the stairs and over towards him. You notice the braid and the dragon tattoo on his head as you approach the guy.

"Draken?" You say stopping behind his motorcycle. Draken leans his head back looking at you upside down.

"Yuki?" He says sitting up and turning to look at you. "What are you doing here?" Draken asks.

"I heard a motorcycle engine, and I got curious I guess... what are you doing here?" You ask.

"I was told the meeting was here..." Draken sighs standing up from the motorcycle. "You're soaked..." He adds looking at your yakata.

"So are you..." You reply. Draken nods looking down at your outfit and slowly looking up your body. Then he pauses and looks behind you.

"Peh?" Draken says with a confused look on his face. You turn around to see Peh-yan staring at Draken. "What's with the look bro? Why're you wearing a sash?" Draken asks gently pushing you to the side.

"I heard its Draken hunting season" Peh-yan replies.

"Eh? Draken hunting season?" Draken furrows his eyebrows at Peh-yan. "Are you still upset about what happened?" Draken asks walking towards Peh-yan a bit. "Can't stand me? What? You came here to fight?" Draken stops walking, staring at Peh-yan. Peh-yan avoids looking directly at Draken. "Come on... I'll take you on." Draken adds. Something about this feels too familiar. 

A festival... It's raining... Peh-yan... Draken... an empty parking lot... some guy with a bat... Your eyes widen when you notice the guy quickly approaching Draken, holding a bat as if he's about to hit Draken with it.

"DRAKEN!" You yell out. Draken turns to look at you but then pauses when he sees the bat.

TWHACK- 

Draken falls to the ground. The sound of the metal bat making contact with his head sent chills down your spine. 

"WE GOT HIM!" A voice yells from the distance. You turn your head to see a group of guys holding bats and poles coming towards you two. Blood starts dripping from Draken's head. 

"Fuck-" Draken mumbles slowly standing back up. 

"Moebius?" You whisper. Draken hears you and sighs.

"Peh... why're you teaming up with Moebius?" Draken asks panting. 

"..." Peh-yan doesn't reply and just glares at Draken. "Kill him..." Peh-yan says to the Moebius members. The guy's charge at Draken. Draken punches a couple of them but a few of them whack him in the back and stomach with their bats. You walk back a bit feeling nervous. He's alone and you can't really fight with what you're wearing. A few guys run past him and towards you. When you notice them running towards you, your heart drops. One of the guys grab you. You elbow the guy who grabbed you. You turn away and run into the warehouse.

"GET THE GIRL!" One of the Moebius members yell. Draken looks in the direction that a few of the members are running in. 

"Fuck!" Draken punches the guy next to him causing the guy to hunch over. He grabs the guy by the back of his hair and knees him in the face. Draken runs towards the warehouse beating everyone up in his way. You run further into the warehouse turning right. You keep running forward and then you stop running when you see a figure to the left of you. You slowly turn your head to see a tall guy with black hair that's dyed a goldish blond in the front and golden eyes. He has a golden drop earring on his left ear. He lifts a cigarette to his face as he takes a puff from it and then smiles at you. His right hand has a tattoo that says punishment written in Japanese and the left one says sin. You narrow your eyes at the guy.

"Yuki..." He hums flicking the cigarette ash and then dropping it on the ground, crushing it with his foot. You look back behind you and then forward towards the guy.

"How do you know my name?" You ask.

"You aren't supposed to be here..." He sighs looking behind him and then back at you. "But I was told you would end up coming here anyway." He chuckles walking up to you. You slowly walk back a bit feeling strange.

"Who are you?" You ask. 

"Doesn't matter who I am... Just know I know who you are... V" He smiles at you. 

"V?" You question still walking back a bit.

"All the plans changed when you appeared... Sksk... " He chuckles giving you a devilish grin. You narrow your eyes at him, feeling uneasy. "How dull... and I thought I was going to get a chance to fight Draken today... but I guess not." He sighs and looks at you with a serious look on his face. He leans towards you and smiles again. "Now you're the main objective." He hums.

"Huh?" You look at him confused.

SMASSSSHH

You hear a bang in the distance causing you to turn and look towards the noise. You look back towards the guy with the golden eyes, but he was gone.

"He's... gone..." You say to yourself, walking forward a bit and looking around. 

"YUKI!" A voice shouts out from the distance. You turn around and run over towards the noise. You see Draken fighting a crowd of people. They keep hitting him with objects from all angles. Draken charges towards a guy and jumps, kicking him in the chest and causing the guy to fly back into a box full of feathers. Feathers explode everywhere. 

"DRAKEN!" You yell out. Draken sluggishly turns to look at you and blowing off the feather that was stuck to his face. There's blood dripping from his mouth and head. 

"Augh... my heads killing me..." Draken sighs patting his head with his palm. "Are you okay?" Draken asks looking at you. You slowly nod. Draken looks at Peh-yan and sighs. "I'm really outnumbered here... Peh-" Draken sluggishly says.

"Give up" Peh-yan responds.

"Tsk..." Draken collapses to the ground onto his knees. The strand of hair that hangs in the front of his face is soaked with blood. He looks tired and is panting a lot.

"Kill... Him..." Peh-yan says in a shaky voice. None of this feels the same as how you read it... Draken looks tired and beaten up. He glares up at Peh-yan, breathing slowly and heavily. A guy pulls out a blade and slowly approaches Draken. Draken looks at the guy. You look around trying to think of something while slowly panicking. You see a box of glass beer bottles in a crate on the ground. You grab one of them. The guy stops in front of Draken and grabs Draken by his hair moving his head to the side. 

"LET GO OF HIM!" You yell, hitting the guy in the head. The bottle didn't break but it has blood on it. The guy falls to the ground and blood starts to pour out his head. Your eyes widen and heart starts to race. One of the guy's charges at you and you smack him in the face with the bottle. Then another guy comes, and you smack him with the bottle too. Your heart is racing so fast it feels like you're floating.

"YUKI!" Draken yells from behind you causing you to turn, a guy swings at you with a bat missing you completely. You smash the bottle on his head leaving you with the broken top of it. The guy falls flat on the ground. You back up towards Draken, panting a bit. 

"I can't fight Draken..." You say in a panicked voice.

"I thought you could..." Draken responds sluggishly.

"Not with what I'm wearing." You reply.

"Are you wearing shorts under this?" He asks.

"Yeah." You reply. You say looking down at your yakata. You notice there's a couple of rips at the bottom and blood on the top. Your eyes relax and dim. The yakata is ruined... You thought to yourself.

"I'm sorry for doing this..." Draken says grabbing the back of your Yakata and ripping the whole bottom off. You slowly nod and held onto the broken bottle tightly. Draken throws the ripped part of the yakata to the side and slowly gets up.

"I can't let a girl fight for me." He chuckles. "So, I'll be your back up... Let's do this together." He sooths. 

Guys charge at the both of you and you turn and kick one of them in the temple with the wooden sandal on your foot. But a bunch of people attack you at once. One of the guys grabs you from behind and holds you down while the other guys hits you repeatedly in your left leg with a huge wrench. It hurt so bad. You want to move but you couldn't because the guy was a lot stronger than you. 

Draken is fighting off other guys. The guy with the wrench pulls the wrench back a bit and then swings really hard into your left leg. You feel a strong pain after he does that causing you to scream in pain. The guy pulls back again. Draken turns towards you and his eyes widen. He slams the guy he's fighting with on the ground and hurries towards you, but someone smacks him in the back of his head causing him to fall onto the ground. The guy swings extremely hard into your leg again. The pain intensifies even more causing your other leg to give out. 

The guy holding onto you pulls you back up. Tears are dripping from your eyes. The pain hurts so much you feel like you're going to pass out. The guy pulls back again and swings into your leg one last time. This time you felt something snap in your leg causing you to scream again. Draken punches the guy with the wrench causing the guy to fly back. Then he grabs the guy who's holding you down by the hair and wrapping his arm around the guy's neck, choking him. The guy lets go of you. You fall to the ground, laying there in pain. Draken slams the guy down, picking up the wrench off the ground and smacking the guy who was trying to grab you, in the face. Draken grabs you and carries you back away from everyone else. 

"Just give up..." A guy says picking up a bottle from one of the crates.

"Fuck... Yuki... I don't think I can keep going..." Draken slowly says breathing heavily. "I feel like I'm going to black out... fuuuuck..." Draken sighs trying to get back up but collapse instead. You crawl over towards Draken but then you stop when you hear an exhaust sound far away but coming closer. Draken lifts his head up and chuckles.

"Hmph... Bout damn time..." Draken sighs wiping the blood off his face.

Everyone slowly turns around towards the noise. Mikey slowly walks in looking towards everyone with a serious look on his face. He slowly turns towards everyone staring directly at Peh-yan with a blank but stern expression on his face.
