Chapter 31: Deceptive Inspiration
With all his nature of Instinct, the lion didn't feel anything.
The human with bluish-pink skin was patient as he watched the lion rest. Suddenly, the lion woke up and stretched, and the human also stood from his seat. This caused the bangle in his hands to jiggle and make a sound, but the lion was still oblivious.
The lion looked around before he ate the remnant of the father, which caused the Birth Battle Ground to open a passage, and the lion ran through one of them.
As he was running through the passage, suddenly, a giant denizen with long red robes appeared beside the lion and delivered a powerful punch.
The lion was sent flying, his stomach ruptured, and blood sprayed.
"You are quite a beast!" The denizen said he walked with haughtiness and arrogance.
This denizen was the one who bought the chimaera information from Boroko's father. He owned a Small Arena and was here to catch the chimaera. He had long gathered information and knew the chimaera was the lion.
He got close to the lion, wrapped the limbs of the lion in place and then sprayed something on the lion's wound, which closed it.
Then he noticed a shadow, the Small Arena Master glared at the shadow but froze in place.
He quickly moved at three times the speed of sound to place his head on the floor to prostrate to the bangle man before him, but the bangle man flicked his finger, and the Small Arena Master blew up like smoke.
He was dead just like that!

2 hours later.
The lion woke up tired as his body had consumed considerable amounts of energy to heal. He looked and found his legs bound to chains and he was inside a cage
The recollection of the strange event occurred to him, and immediately, the lion looked around but didn't find anyone close by.
He then silently changed his teeth within 29 minutes, becoming Pearl Teeth. Then, with ease, he sliced through the chain and ate them.
Then he proceeded to chop the cage and everything around before he silently left the place. He ate everything he wanted to make the hunter believe someone had taken the cage.
He has no idea that the bangle man was amazed by the sharpness of the Pearl Teeth. He was here for them, and they seemed useful.
The lion ran away until he reached a junction but he didn't take any path. He began to chop at the wall.
As he had clearly achieved his task objectives, all he had to do now was to escape the realm and see the sky. That will serve as the end.
But he did know that chopping the realm would cause the place to churn and send him to the Birth Battle Ground, so he followed the pattern he came to understand in this place.
This was an edge where the realm was less sensitive to damage.
Lion chopped and ate as he burrowed through it like a rodent. Until he came across an extremely hard layer; despite that, he bit through it and moved forward.
The lion goes through several hundred meters, he can feel that he has come to the edge. A few more bites, and he will be outside and gazing at the sky.
That will be the end of his challenge.
But the wall seemed to be getting harder and harder until he couldn't bite through it at all.
The lion was upset, the fact that powerful denizens were hunting him made him feel unsafe. For that reason, he didn't force himself to wake the treader up.
He might have been using Pearl Teeth but they aren't truly his. Only Treaders can use their best function.
Not only was the lion giving control to the treader, but their body began to shift and change until it was Silent Treader in place.
Natures were physique abilities and for them to truly use Pearl Teeth with all their glory, the Silent Treader must be herself in almost every way possible.
The Silent Treader appeared as big as the lion, its body far more robust than it used to be. Her jaws were powerful which was a plus, not to mention the tail tip black seemed to be more refined than it used to be.
All in all, Silent Treader was three times more powerful than when it was before meeting Eugene. And it was still improving.
This came about because the lion's potential was pushing her forward.
Now, with enough Life Force to activate her Nature, she understands that all she has been enjoying are the benefits of passive effects.
The Silent Treader opened her mouth and easily sliced the last fabric. A wind blew in before she felt extreme danger and turned and dashed back. Soon, she was outside the tunnel they carved.
Second later the tunnel closed with a snap. They would have been crushed inside. But the danger didn't end there, the two beasts felt that Eugene was dying inside them.
If they had gone out, he would have been lost forever, and they would have become monsters like never before.
An inspiration came to them, they needed to go to Main Gland where they would perfect their merger.
And they have no time, they need to run and escape that denizen that put them inside a cage.
The two beasts shook and immediately, the lion took over with his body but with little changes before they dashed toward the Main Gland.
The man with bangles smiled.
He has been watching and making the walls to be tougher than they were every few meters. In the end, he made the wall extremely hard, which the lion couldn't bite through until the Treader took over.
Even now, it was the one that inserted the inspiration inside the two beasts to make them go to Main Gland.
Going to the Main Gland forced it to go through some metropolis but with the few awakened Natures, they were unstoppable.
Suddenly, High Intelligence and Instinct took over the lion, and some sort of hidden legacy of his Ancestors made him immediately see through the illusion.
This came with the awareness they were doomed, and so he continued toward the Main Gland.
