Beast EMPEROR

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! 

The cultivators who had not so long ago entered the cave heard this drum like sound, they could feel the tremors all the way from where they stood. "What's that sound?" They were more curious about this sound than scared of it. "It must be an ancient beast sealed long ago and is now trying to escape."

Whatever it was, they were quite interested in it. Lu Zhen was now half naked, he had been punching this door for quite some time, the door was sturdy and immovable like a mountain, this is why Lu Zhen was going all out against it. "If this doesn't work then I guess I'll try melting it. I don't have much time anyway." he mumbled nonchalantly to himself.

His golden inscriptions hidden under his tattoos started glowing and emitting golden light, this light wasn't blinding or anything like that but it did make him look holy and noble. These inscriptions looked like roots that had taken root in his body. His body grew to a whopping five meters, he looked like a giant.

The floor shook and sunk in with every step he took. He then took a stance and prepared his next attack, the biceps on his right hand contracted and expanded, his fist was coated in a golden light.

"BREAK!!!"

It sounded like a dragon had awakened from its slumber as the entire cave shook from Lu Zhen's voice. He then punched the door with everything he had, there were no shockwaves explosion sounds when his punch came in contact with the door. Instead, there was silence which only lasted for a moment. Lu Zhen heard sounds of cracking, it was the door that was cracking and it didn't take long before a huge hole could be seen by Lu Zhen.

He quickly entered before the hole could close itself again, this door seemed to have a restoration array as the pieces on the ground floated in the air and the hole closed not long after. Lu Zhen then looked around to see what the door was hiding but this hall was empty.

It was better to say that there was nothing that caught Lu Zhen's eyes except for the egg wrapped around in thick hot chains. This egg was black and white but this didn't surprise Lu Zhen, eggs came in many different sizes and colours. The chains that wrapped themselves around the egg were blazing hot, but this heat was being countered by the frigid air being emitted by the egg.

This was probably the reason for the egg not being burned to a crisp, even Lu Zhen wasn't confident of still being alive if these chains were wrapped around him in his current state. He had also reverted back to his original form, he wanted to take a closer look at the egg but the frigid air and blazing hot chains stopped him from approaching.

"There has to be a way to take a closer look." he then remembered his sealing power which he upgraded not too long ago, his entire body was then dyed black as if he was a person born from darkness, he looked like a true definition of evil or a walking blackhole, the cold wind and hot air revolved around him, they couldn't reach his skin as they would be nullified by the highly concentrated sealing power.

Lu Zhen quickly reached the egg and studied it. Its patterns looked like a bird standing in the boundaries between life and death, like it was both the light and darkness, yin and yang. This somewhat enlightened Lu Zhen but he didn't become unconscious like everyone else, his mind glowed in a golden colour as well as his inscriptions.

It was like his understanding of the Dao had integrated with his mind and body, his inscriptions now shone brighter which made him look like a deity overlooking everything and his mind could now process things even faster than before. Lu Zhen was pleasantly surprised by all of this, honestly speaking, Lu Zhen wasn't pursuing the Dao but was pursuing power, power that even the Dao, Great Dao, Heavenly Dao and Origin Dao would have to submit in front of it.

This was also a part of his cultivation path but the strangest thing was that his mind and body were comprehending the Dao on their own almost as if saying "Even if you don't cultivate the Dao, we'll do it in your stead"

Well, it wasn't yet time for him to be engrossed in his thoughts because he heard voices coming from the other side of the door. He grabbed the chains which of course didn't burn him and tried to break them which resulted in failure. He had already expected this result, the chains after all didn't melt from the extreme heat.

He looked around to see if there was a key or anything which could help him take the egg away, he already knew that it was a bird species from merely looking at the patterns covering it. His eyes landed on a tablet not so far away which was written in ancient text. Lu Zhen was of course proficient in the ancient language and from the text, he knew he'd struck gold.

Ancient texts were priceless treasures, some contained cultivation techniques that could help someone mediocre improve his cultivation level by leaps and bounds, some contained body strengthening techniques which could make someone an impenetrable fortress for all eternity. Anything ancient was literally a treasure that would cause an uproar if news of it was leaked.

"HE WHO CONTROLS LIFE AND DEATH, LIGHT AND DARKNESS WILL ONE DAY BE RELEASED FROM HIS SHACKLES. HE IS KIND AND CRUEL, ABOVE AND BELOW, OMNIPOTENT AND OMNISCIENT. REVERED BY THE HEAVENS ABOVE AND EARTH BELOW, WHEN THE DAY FINALLY COMES, HE SHALL REIGN SUPREME YET AGAIN. REJOICE WHEN THE ONE IS FINALLY REBORN. HAIL THE EMPEROR!!!"

This is what was written in the tablet not so far away, Lu Zhen attacked it and it immediately disintegrated into dust. It seemed like the egg had been sealed here for the longest time and most people probably had forgotten about it. Lu Zhen split his wrist and his blood poured all over the egg and was being absorbed by it. His blood was being absorbed in large quantities and at a rapid speed, fortunately, Lu Zhen had very large vitality.

The egg then shook, the chains wrapped around it rusted and turned to dust, it then floated in the air as cracks covered the entire shell. A small hole was opened and the frigid air covered the entire space. The ones on the other side felt the sudden drastic drop in temperature and froze to death, only the lady remained standing as she sat in a lotus position.

A beautiful bird escaped the shell, it had a small beak, watery black eyes, black and white feathers and was half a meter tall, it was a baby Emperor Penguin. The entire snow region changed, everything living in it was frozen to death and a white fog covered it, no one could see what was happening inside and those who came in contact with the fog froze to death.

As it emitted its terrifying aura and pressure, Lu Zhen widened his eyes in surprise, he saw something from the baby Emperor Penguin. "This is the path I want…" he spoke softly.

The baby penguin slowly descended and when its feets touched the ground it spoke, "Why aren't you kneeling?"
