The target of these rock spurs was a lithe white figure darting and twisting in mid-air with effortless grace.

It was none other than Qiuqiu, who had taken to the skies by executing Snow Trace.

Instead of dodging the successive rock spurs stabbing towards it, Qiuqiu rushed forward with incredible speed. A misty frost emanated from its eyes, and its paws shimmered with an icy blue light. As the rock spurs shot past, Qiuqiu tapped them gently yet precisely in the middle.

Each time Qiuqiu's paw pressed against a rock spur, its surface, which glowed with an earthy yellow light, would instantly be covered with a layer of icy blue, the result of the rock spur being sealed by an extreme chill.

The frozen rock spurs didn't stop flying, and driven by kinetic inertia, they went past Qiuqiu before falling directly onto another piece of ground already covered in shattered ice and debris.

Every time a rock spur flew over the area, an ice-blue light burst from the ice crystal on Qiuqiu's chest, detonating the frozen rock spur.

As each rock spur exploded, the field was immediately filled with a continuous roar. The frozen rock spurs shattered into debris, creating an Energy Storm that shot violently in all directions.

Around the edges of the open space, several defensive pets quietly encircled the center of the explosion. Stationed at a distance from the center, they deployed their strongest defense skills, withstanding the impact from the aftershocks of Snow Explosion and using it to train their abilities.

Beside these pets, other pets were engaged in small-scale combat to hone specific skills.

Over three days, not only had the members of Xing Yun's team grown familiar with each other, but their pets had also grown to know each other's pets. Their routine training was no longer conducted in isolation, but collaboratively as a team.

Without a doubt, under such a training regimen, the efficiency with which each pet trained improved.

Ice Palm and Snow Explosion were the two skills Qiuqiu was now focusing on training, a regimen that allowed both skills to be sufficiently exercised.

The suppression training Qiuqiu subjected the two other pets with Monarch Power to continued unabated.

At one moment, Mushroom stopped its Fast Punch. While it resisted Qiuqiu's Monarch Power with its own, it subconsciously glanced in Zhang Xiaoyu's direction.

Although it already knew that its Beast Tamer was going to train in something called "martial arts" today, Mushroom was curious about this kind of martial skill that could also endow a Beast Tamer with fighting ability.

However, its eyes blinked in disappointment almost immediately after. The vine was ultimately flexible and, though it had taken on the shape of a staff, it bent as soon as Mushroom swung it with force.

With a resigned shake of its head, Mushroom tossed aside the vine staff and lightly tapped its mushroom cap, pondering.

Does it need to find something harder to make a staff...?

Having an idea, Mushroom's eyes lit up, and in an Instant Step, it arrived beside Split Rock Lizard. Standing on tiptoes, it reached out and tapped on Split Rock Lizard's shoulder.

"Gulu! Gulu? ᕙ(￣▽￣)ᕗ" (Hey big guy! Can you help me with something?)

Split Rock Lizard momentarily paused its rock spur formation. It twisted its massive head to face Mushroom and, after its earthy yellow eye did a full rotation, it fixed its gaze upon Mushroom.

"Ssou? (꒪Д꒪)" (What do you need?)

"Gulu! ᕙ(＾▽＾)ᕗ" (Help me create one of those long staffs!)

Mushroom extended its fist and pointed towards the Beast Tamers who were training in the distance.
