"Thank you," Furen replied, appreciating Kakashi's unwavering support.

That evening, Furen, Kakashi, and Shizune boarded a swift, discreet vessel headed for the Land of Snow. By morning, they arrived at their destination, which had transformed greatly under Koyuki's rule since Furen's last visit.

Entering the Land of Snow's core, they saw a massive snow-capped mountain with a castle at its peak—the royal palace of Koyuki Kazahana. Around the base of the castle were various villages and new settlements that had developed under her leadership.

"Wait here for a bit, Kakashi-sensei, Shizune. I'll go meet Queen Koyuki," Furen said, heading toward the palace.

Navigating the corridors, he soon reached Koyuki's room, where he also spotted Haku. Startled, Haku reacted instantly, brandishing a kunai.

"Who's there?!" Haku demanded, while a drowsy Koyuki, realizing someone had entered, peeked out from behind her bed's thin curtains.
