I was looking at the being that just invited me to come with them. I knew them or at least I have seen them before. If I recall correctly his name is Kibito. He should be serving as the attendant to the current Supreme Kai. I simply nodded and went with him.

'Worse case scenario I can just flee the Trial and train in another Trial.'

It seemed I was right as we teleported to the Sacred World Of The Kai. I was quick to notice that only 3 beings existed here. One of which was sealed in a sword. I gave a simple bow to Shin the current Supreme Kai.

Rio: "Supreme Kai, it is an honor to meet you."

Shin: "Traveler, I brought you here to thank you for destroying Majin Buu but also to ask why you did so and how you knew about Majin Buu."

Rio: "I destroyed Majin Buu because he was a threat to all life. As for how I knew about him I prefer not to say."

Shin: "Hmm, well I would like to know where you learned such info but for now I wish to reward you for your assistance in destroying Majin Buu."

Rio: "First may I ask why someone is sealed in that sword?"

Shin: "What? The Z-Sword? I don't know of anyone sealed in the sword."

Rio: "Hmm, then may I release them and we will get our answers."

Shin: "Uh, I suppose that should be okay."

Rio: "Crumble Away, Greater Break Item."

The sword dissolves and sure enough, the Old Kai is released.

Shin: "You broke it but how?! The Z-Sword was said to be the strongest and most sacred relic of the Kais."

Old Kai: "Ah, much better. Glad to be out of that blasted sword."

Shin: "What the? Who are you?"

Old Kai: "Oh right, you would be very surprised to learn that I can't wait to tell you. Oh boy, I am sorta you we're the same rank. I'm also Supreme Kai but I'm from 15 generations ago."

Shin: "What!? 15 Generations ago?!"

Kibito: "What this cannot be!"

Old Kai: "Hehehe, oh but it can. Now I believe we have quite an interesting visitor."

Rio: "Nice to meet you, Elder Kai. I have an offer for you."

Old Kai: "Hmm, and what would that be."

Rio: "I have an item that can separate any 2 things. I am willing to use it to un-fuse you if you can unlock my potential in exchange."

Old Kai: "What?! But that isn't possible. A Supreme Kai fusion is irreversible."

Rio: "If it fails then you lose nothing but gain everything if it succeeds."

Old Kai: "Hmm, well yes I suppose that is true. But..."

Rio: "Even the cost is very cheap."

Old Kai: "Oh all right. But this better work or I will be quite unhappy."

I smiled, took out the Two-Worlds Mandala, and activated it. I selected the Old Kai as the target and instructed it to separate the 2 fused beings.

Rio: "Don't try to resist the effect, please. I only have a single shot at this."

He nods and then a flash of light happens. After it fades I was happy to see it worked flawlessly. Sitting on the ground were 2 distinct beings. The Old Witch and a young-looking Elder Kai. In fact, he looks nearly identical to Shin.

Elder Kai: "You young one are my new favorite being. I will be honest and say I never thought that you would succeed. But since you succeeded I will unlock your potential."

Old Witch: "Ah, fooey. Why did you have to undo our fusion? I liked being fused."

Rio: "Hmm, you are almost evil enough I would take your soul but I suggest you leave before I change my mind."

She pales and starts making a run for it. I follow Elder Kai and we go to an open field.

Elder Kai: "Okay now this will take a while as you have a ridiculous amount of dormant potential. I am not even certain I can actually unlock it. But I will try."

What followed was 3 days of a ritual. Once it was done Elder Kai was covered in sweat and breathing heavily.

Elder Kai: "Sorry but I have done all I could but I was only able to remove around half of the blocks keeping you from reaching your current full potential."

Rio: "Current?"

Elder Kai: "Basically I would be unlocking your species potential but your actual potential is infinite. I am nowhere near powerful enough to unlock your actual potential. I doubt anyone is. As for your species, my best guess would be you need to get stronger and discover something about yourself. What any of that is I am not certain. Sorry, I couldn't be of more assistance."

Rio: "It's fine I was kind of expecting that might be the case. My species are quite incredible so I am not too surprised I am close to unlocking my dormant species potential."

Shin: "Now that this is done I can ask you what you would like for a reward for destroying Majin Buu."

Rio: "Hmm, the only thing I could want is training by the Kais. I believe North Kai has some techniques I would like to learn and I believe all of you have some techniques I would like to learn."

Shin: "Really? Are you sure that is all?"

Rio: "Hmm, there is another thing. I want to experiment with a technique. It is made to kill those who are Evil. It is also meant to take their souls. I would like permission to test out the ability in this Universe to make sure it works and to use it a few times to fix anything that needs to be fixed. I can return the souls afterward if you need me to."

Shin: "Hmm, usually I would never allow that but due to what you have done for this Universe I can permit it. But I ask you to do it only a few times. You can keep the souls. Hell would be overflowing if you sent them in all at once. Evil souls are already less useful as is. So losing a few million won't be that big of a deal. However, if any good souls are accidentally killed, you must return them immediately, no exceptions."

Rio: "Deal."

'Oh yeah.'

Rio: "Could I get your assistance on something? I need to see into Universe 6. I want to gather the Super Dragon Balls to fix a major issue in this Multiverse."

Elder Kai: "I can help you with that."

It doesn't take too long as Gate can allow me to move between dimensions and Universes. I just needed a visual. Once I arrive I collect the Super Dragon Balls quickly. I was slightly surprised to learn that I can put them in my inventory but was told that since it is one object the size doesn't factor as much. Once they were all gathered I summoned the Dragon and made the following wish.

Rio: "I want to erase all other timelines and make this the main timeline. Also, make it so that Time Travel is disabled. You can use me as an example of how to do that. Lastly, make it so no one can undo this wish."

The wish was granted and I was satisfied as Time Travel is a mess and just thinking about the Time Travel shenanigans in this verse gave me a headache.

'That should make them not have to deal with all those problems.'

What followed was many months of training under the Kais and Valkorion. I used his Holocron to better understand the Ritual of Nathema and more importantly how to improve and alter it. It turned out the Holocron was of the defeated Valkorion and as such he had given up on Universal Extinction. I still quin-drupal checked all the knowledge he gave me and Kreia was watching the entire ordeal to ensure I wasn't tricked. When I started my training it had only been 3 months since I had entered the Trial. That gave me 16-17 Months to work with. Not including the 2 times I used the Hyperbolic Time Chamber on Earth. Speaking of Earth I also got some training from Master Roshi and the other Z Fighters as I figured I had time.

'Not to mention the occasional fights with Vegeta.'

Vegeta found me a couple of times and I would beat the ever-living crap out of him as I kept learning new techniques. Eventually, I got bored of fighting him and instead made him deal with Goku. I also got the assistance of Bulma in constructing the Terraformer. It seemed to fascinate her and she ended up adding a few minor upgrades. Nothing massive but a few efficiency upgrades. I did learn a few new things about the tech they have. Not much was gained as not much interested me. Mostly Artificial Gravity Chambers and Healing Pods. I also healed Goku's Heart Condition as it was trivial for me. The biggest gain was Sage Mode. I ended up being able to sense and use Nature Energy. I made it by combining the Sage Mode techniques of Toad, Slug, and Snake.

'Wonder what to call it?'

The Sage Mode was fairly useful as it gave a 50% Boost to all stats while it was active and the ability to use Nature Energy for attacks. The real bonus was the ability to manipulate and cleanse Nature Energy. When I first did this I shocked North Kai so much he fainted. It is apparently a very rare skill to be able to cleanse Nature Energy. By cleansing the energy I can become the friend of all beings sensitive to nature and the planet's lifeforce. I also took the time to learn many new spells and almost every shout I could. Luckily, for the shouts I could summon the warriors from Sovangarde and Durnehviir to teach me. I was also able to test out the new Ritual that I am calling Judgement Day. It targets anyone with a specified Karma value and kills them, takes their souls, stores them in the Star, and finally teleports the bodies to a specified place. The first 2 tries had some minor issues but by the 3rd the technique was just about perfected. I was unable to do a 4th test as it would be pushing my luck. Once I got to 19 months I knew I needed to wrap up all the things I had been doing and make sure there wasn't anything I was leaving behind. At 20 Months exactly I left the Trial.

Authors Note:

The Trial is now over. Rio leaves with 253 Namekians, the Ginyu Force, and mastery of a crap ton of spells and techniques. Rio used the Two-Worlds Mandala as he wanted to see how it works and if it is as strong as it says. Also, it gave him some advantages. Rio now knows over 250 Spells. I decided to finally use Valkorion while still being insanely cautious about it. The next chapter will be the rewards. Until next time Ciao.
