Riley was shocked at how easy his father made things for everyone present. Nux presented him some papers for him to sign. Diogo complied with that. After Diogo finished signing, Nux informed them that he will come back 2 days later to pick Riley up to leave and that he should use these 2 days to say his farewells.

Riley was more than happy with this arrangement because if they were to leave now he wouldn't see Andre again for some time. After Nux, coach Almedia and Jaco left Diogo kept staring at Riley. "You finally feel you have freedom now. Don't you?" Diogo spoke with a serious voice. Riley albeit scared a bit he stared at his father in his eyes. "Yes. I feel like Im getting my freedom, but father no matter if I'm in Germany or wherever. You are my father and I will always love you." Diogo a little taken aback by those words smiled and left for his room. 'Once you meet your mother, you may hate me forever' Diogo thought as he vanished from the room.

2 days later in Lisbon Portela Airport

Andre, Adela and a middle aged woman, probably their mother. Were all smiles as Riley stood before them. "This is it, brother." Andre said with beaming smile. Riley returned his smile, "Yep, this is it." Adela on the other side was on the verge of tears. Riley seeing this ruffled her hair a little and made a promise to her, "I will work hard and go pro. Once that happens, in the first senior game that Im involved in, I will invite you guys." Riley held out his pinky. Adela quickly wrapped his pinky with her own.

Jaco came over to the group and urged them to hurry their farewells because they were about to leave. Riley looked at the middle aged woman, "Mrs Carvalho, please take care of my father for me." Riley pleaded and the woman just nodded. Andre looked at Riley and tears started crying, Riley tried being strong but he eventually broke down as he hugged his best friend.

"Unleash the beast of Lisbon in Germany. Shock the world like I know you can. Also get a phone and get social media so we can keep each other updated you know." Andre said through the tears. Riley nodded at every word he said. Finally it was time to leave. Riley looked back one last time as the family of three waved him goodbye.

Nux, Jaco and Riley boarded the plane and Riley was a bit scared. He has been in a plane before but he was just a little kid back then, no memory of it. He settled down and Jaco next to him tapped the screen in front of them to put on a movie. "You know movies right?" Jaco asked. 'The hell? Kid who doesn't know movies?' Riley thought. "Of course I know movies. My favourite one right now is Life In A Year." Riley said proudly. Jaco sneered, "You like Romance movies? I've decided to not call you big brother anymore. RILEY SANTOS!" Jaco laughed at his own mischievous behaviour.

The plane took off and Riley could see Lisbon growing tiny by the minute. He was finally leaving and that thought suddenly hit him. He has had his fair share of ups and downs in this city but he definitely will be back. This was his home, the only place he knew. "I will be back Lisbon, I will definitely be back." A flash of determination passed through Riley's eyes as he settled into his seat and prepared to watch Jaco's chosen movie. This boy had chosen to watch an old movie, Iron Man 2.
