Riley was still being held by hair by his father. Diogo had lost everything by coming back with Riley from France. His then wife couldn't take being cheated on and left with their three children, 1 girl and 2 boys. Diogo lost his company's shares since they were in his wife's name, he lost everything.

"Father Im sorry." Riley said with a voice that was barely a whisper but Diogo heard him perfectly, "Stupid ingrate." Diogo sneered as he released Riley. Riley got up immediately and went to the bathroom he still needed to get rid of the sweat on his body.

After taking a bath he prepared some food for his father and himself. After eating he went straight to bed and cried silently through the night.

3 days later Riley has been very disciplined and has not given Diogo any reason to lash out at him. Riley was washing his and his father's clothes when Andre came by. "Yo! Riley Ronaldo. Hahahaha." Andre joked, Riley hearing that immediately panicked, "shuush man my father is in the house."

Andre caught his mouth, "Sorry buddy didn't know." After the duo waited for a few seconds to see if Diogo heard them and would come out they let out sighs of relief. "So what's up man? We missed you in training these past days." Andre said, "I know man sorry about that but you know my father." Riley replied as he got back to washing the laundry.

"Argh man." All of a sudden Andre walked towards the door and Riley immediately started having a bad feeling about it. "Hey Andre what are you doing man?" Riley asked with a panicked look on his face but Andre ignored him. Andre opened the door and walked towards Diogo who was sitting watching the television. "Good day Mr Santos." Diogo shifted his eyes from the tv and glanced at Andre before turning back to the tv. Andre seeing this was flabbergasted. "Umm Mr Santos can Riley come over to my place. It is my little sister Adela's birthday and Im inviting him over." Diogo and Riley frowned at this, for different reasons of course. Diogo for, he just didn't want Riley leaving the house and Riley for, he knew Adela's birthday is not until 2 months from now.

Diogo pondered for a while and gave a nod. 'Huh. That was easy' Riley thought. "Thank you Mr Santos. He will be back in 2 hours." The boys soon left but not before Riley glanced at his father. "So spill it idiot. Why did you lie to my father about Adela's birthday?" Riley asked after they gotten further from his house. Andre with a mysterious smile, "because I have a good opportunity for you. Something that will get you out of Portugal." Riley was skeptical but he continued to listen, Andre continued, "You were not in training so you don't know. There is a football scout coming. A German football scout."
