Billionaire in Kingsman with a Marvel System

Chapter 232: Chapter 233: No Need to Worry About Jewelry

"No way, are you trying to anger me?" Lena angrily twisted William's ear. "Seriously, you are getting more wasteful. You want to bury a 10 million dollar gem in a graveyard?"

Saying this, Lena suddenly tossed the ruby onto the table, looking pitifully at William and complained, "It's all your fault, William. Now this gem feels a bit eerie to me, and I don't want to see it anymore. Oh God, how unfortunate. I finally have a gemstone to show off, but now I don't dare to wear it."

"Alright, Mom, stop acting. You just want more gems," William sighed, seeing through his mother's poor acting skills. "Okay, you win. It seems I don't need to worry about scaring you with too many jewels."

Thinking about his mother's earlier comment about wanting to spend billions to buy Chelsea, and how she reacted to the gem earlier, he realized she was not shocked by its value but reacted like any woman would when seeing a beautiful gem.

When she estimated the value, she was just excited, saying it was worth 10 million dollars, without any overwhelming shock. It seemed he could no longer view his mother with the same cautious eye. "Wait here for a moment."

Seeing William turn and head upstairs, Lena's sad expression immediately vanished. Smiling, she muttered to herself, "I knew you had more gems hidden away. If you hadn't slipped up and mentioned burying such a precious gem in my mother's grave, I wouldn't have known you had other treasures. Haha, don't think I don't know. You've been sneaking into the basement these days. If it's jewelry, it's all mine."

Lena happily schemed how to get all the jewels from William. But her little schemes were nothing to William, who valued filial piety above all. He had only been cautious to avoid overwhelming his mother, but since she was now accustomed to their immense wealth, there was no need to hide anymore.

Back in his room, William opened a portal and walked into the now doorless castle treasure room. He lit a ball of light above his head and spent a few minutes picking through the treasures. He then returned to his room, closed the portal, and went downstairs.

After ten minutes, William came back down with a smile and sat beside Lena. He pulled a handful of jewels from his pocket and placed them on the table, then pulled out another handful to empty his pocket.

Lena stared at the colorful gems on the table, then looked at William's indifferent expression. Her worldview was instantly overturned. William's demeanor was more like giving away glass beads than precious gems.

She reached out and touched each gem one by one. There were so many that her eyes felt dazzled. "Diamonds, rubies, sapphires... Oh God, William, where did you get so many gems? Did you find a treasure?"

William whispered with a grin, "Hey Mom, don't ask for specifics. Just know that our family will never lack jewelry again. These are all for you. Now you won't think that ruby is too valuable anymore, right?"

Lena didn't ask further. She knew that William would tell her anything he could and would keep silent for her own good. Looking at the dozens of gems before her, she felt incredibly happy. As William had said, she would never worry about jewelry again.

Lena picked up a diamond and said to William, "This diamond is at least 50 carats. These few are over 30 carats. And these sapphires, the largest one is over 120 carats, the smallest around 15-26 carats. Sweetie, these sapphires would make a perfect necklace."

"Oh God, you are so good to me. I must be the happiest mom in the world. I will wear different jewelry every day, never repeating for a month. Mary, Tina's fat mom, will be so jealous."

"Haha, Mom, I think you should spare Aunt Mary. If you make her mad, she won't see you, and you only have Mary as a friend in Oxford. Who will go shopping with you then?"

"It's okay. If Mary doesn't talk to me, Tina wouldn't dare to ignore me," Lena said, picking the smallest gem from the pile. "I'll just bribe Tina with this gem, saying I'll give it to her when she turns 18. If she doesn't please me this year, I won't give it to her. Haha, she wouldn't dare to cross me."

William looked at the sapphire in his mother's hand. "Mom, would you really give it to Tina?"

Lena patted William's shoulder, speaking earnestly, "Silly, I was just saying it. Do you really believe I would? As I said, if I'm not satisfied, I won't give it. I'll find any excuse. I wouldn't give such a beautiful sapphire to Tina."

It seemed the books were right; once a gem entered a woman's pocket, it wouldn't come out.

"William, I want Tiffany's people to design jewelry for these gems. Rings, necklaces, earrings, brooches."

"Why Tiffany?" William asked curiously. "There are many good jewelry designers besides Tiffany. We can consider designs from other companies."

"No, sweetie, I want Tiffany. Your grandfather gave your grandmother Tiffany-designed jewelry. I only trust them."

Hearing this, William made no further suggestions. It was a family tradition to be honored. He would let Tiffany's designers try first, and if they weren't good enough, they could switch.

The mother and son spent time discussing how to design the jewelry from the gems on the table, talking until 11 PM. Afterward, Lena carefully put away all the gems. "I need to lock these in my room's safe, or I won't be able to sleep. By the way, Tina's 17th birthday is coming up. You need to think of a gift for her."

William thought for a moment and said, "How about I give Tina a Patek Philippe watch?"

Lena didn't want to criticize her son's gift-picking skills again. William had given her the same birthday gift several times. "I can't help you with this. You need to think for yourself. It's late. Good night, sweetie."

After saying good night to his mother, William sat in his chair, contemplating what to get for Tina. It was a headache. Maybe he should give her a Ferrari, as 17-year-olds could drive in England.

As he was thinking, his phone rang. Seeing that it was from Gareth Mallory, William wondered why he was calling. "Hello, Gareth."
