BLACK CLOVER: Through the Looking Glass

In the base of Black Bull all of the members of Black Bull sat on a table, eating with leisure and making the atmosphere chaotic. An atmosphere that suits Black Bull perfectly.

On the table, Wilhelm sat between Luck and Magna while on the opposite side, Vanessa sat between Noelle and Asta. Beside them, Charmy kept on preparing and filling the table with food.

"Eat plenty, there is more for everyone." Charmy said as she put another plate in front of Wilhelm and Asta. Asta went down on the plate saying, "Thank you Miss Charmy!" while Wilhelm pushed the plate aside and said with a nauseous expression, "Sorry Charmy, I am full."

"No no no~ You must eat a lot if you want to become strong." She said like how a grandmother would.

"But I am full." Wilhelm whined at which Charmy said raising her spoon, "No problem." Then she proceeded to whip up a dish under the eyes of the Black Bull and placed it on the table.

"I told you I am full."

"Tsk tsk tsk, this is no normal food, but Charmy Special, which will digest everything you have eaten and will make you hungry. Here try it." She said with a smug expression on her face as if she was a goddess, blessing the mortals.

Looking at the dish, Magna spoke with confusion on his face, "How is it even possible?"

"Hehehe, Magic."

"It is obvious Queen Magna." Wilhelm said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"Hey, cut it." Magna said in an annoyed tone.

"Why Queen Magna~"

"I swear Luck, cut it." Magna repeated in a threatening tone.

"Don't be shy~ Queen Magna of Trash Town.~" Vanessa joined in too with an amused smile on her face.

"Shut up, you drunkard!"

"These crass words don't suit your royal self, my Queen." Wilhelm said in an over-the-top fashion. This thing also annoyed Magna while everyone, even Noelle and Asta laughed at the sight.

"From which angle do I look like a Queen?" Magna whined at which Vanessa leaned over and said, "Beauty comes from the inside."

"I am done with your crap!!" Magna said as he slammed the table and the plates clanged a bit, and was about to get up but he felt the hair on his neck stand up as Charmy looked at him with a displeased gaze. Just as fast as he got up, he sat down.

*WHIPLASH*

"Whipped." Wilhelm said as he took a bite out of the food and immediately his stomach growled with hunger and he felt as if he had not eaten anything for a day. Without saying another sentence, Wilhelm attacked the food in front of him like nothing else.

"Hey hey! Eat slowly." Noelle said which was met with a slam of the door.

*BAM*

"Oi, how are you?" Captain Yami spoke with his hand raised, as he entered through the door with Finral who followed behind him.

"Be abe pine." (We are fine.) Wilhelm spoke with his face stuffed with food.

"Besh Taptan." (Yes Captain.) Asta added to it. His mouth too, stuffed with food.

"Chew properly, you two." Magna said at which Wilhelm took a spoonful of food and rammed it straight into his mouth.

"Wha! Mmmm… Iss gud." (It's good.) He said wide-eyed and realized that this food tasted tastier than usual, which was something he did not believe was possible.

"Not you too…" Vanessa said holding her head and lying on the table with droopy eyes.

Usual with the shenanigans of his squad, Yami spoke as he took the seat, "Well, good to see that you are having fun, but I hate to rain on your parade. You have to go to Royal Capital. Wizard King's order."

"Again?! Just after you joined, Wizard King has called people from Black Bulls two times. Why did he not call me anytime all these years?"

"Maybe he was too shy to call Queen Magna of Trash Lands." Vanessa suggested to Magna's complaint. Hearing this, Magna looked at her as if he was thinking of something clever to retort, but after finding nothing, decided to keep quiet instead.

"I am so proud of you all. I heartily congratulate you and support your success. I take great pride that we are teammates and I hope that we can get to know each other better, deepening our bonds and that would later flourish into something strong.

I wo…" Gordon kept on murmuring so meekly that it felt like moving of lips that nobody paid any attention to him, while Gauche on the other hand, way too detached from the topic placed the photo of his sister in front of Yami and said, "Isn't my sister beautiful? Can you give me a vacation to visit her?"

"Denied." Yami rejected immediately and Gauche retreated as if nothing had happened.

"Captain! Captain! What are we going to do in Royal Capital? Do we have to fight strong magic knights there?" Luck asked to no one's surprise.

"To the Magic Knight Headquarters, and you are not going." Yami replied with a puff of smoke.

"Why not~~~?" Luck whined dejectedly like a puppy.

"Because I don't want you to pick a fight with anyone there, and I know for a fact you will." At Yami's reply, Luck deflated and mumbled "It's not fair." under his breath.

Then Yami turned to Wilhelm, Asta, and Noelle and said, "You three will go to Royal Capital in about half an hour. Ready yourself, prepare or whatever but don't be late."

Following this, he turned to Wilhelm and added with a greedy smile, "And Mr. Creepy, about the gold that you bought…"

"I gave it all to be deposited." Wilhelm replied immediately with a calm face.

"Ummhmm…and I believe you kid." Yami said with sarcasm looking in Wilhelm's eyes and followed, "I know that you will not hand over all that you found just to screw with people. So kid, where is it?"

"Captain Yami, Wilhelm will not do such a thing." Asta said vehemently to which Noelle added, "Yes. He is not a person like this."

"Yeah, I believe 'em." Magna added too.

*SNAP*

*SHATTER*

But all those words were washed away by the sound of a snap followed by the shattering of glass at the corner of the common room, which revealed…gold, gems, swords, shields, armor, spears, paintings, and other things that screamed expensive.

Immediately, Asta, Noelle, and Magna looked at Wilhelm with a dead look, while Vanessa and Yami sent him an amused look, and Finral looked as if Wilhelm was an onion with too many layers to him.

"You did not give it to them?!" Asta said out loud.

"Incorrect. I did not give all part to them yet." Wilhelm clarified with a salesman smile.

"But why you gotta do it?" Magna said at which Wilhelm's face turned to a pitiful look that took everyone by surprise and was able to incite sympathy, even a bit from Yami too.

"That is because…"

*GULP* Everyone gulped.

"…I have to take care of my wife and 20 kids."

"You are not married!! And how can you have so many kids?!" Noelle shouted, calling out bullsh*t.

"Not married yet~" Wilhelm said waving his brows meaningfully at Noelle which shut her down with a heavy blush on her face.

'What was that? Is Wilhelm a god? Is he HIM?' Finral thought as he decided to take Wilhelm as his teacher. Seniority goes to hell.

"Well…keep the weapons and trinkets, but you will need to part with gold, gems, and paintings."

"Deal." Wilhelm said without a single thought.

'I only wanted weapons anyway. If in the future I can get space magic, I will just chuck them out of it.'

"That was fast. Fight a bit."

"Nope." Wilhelm replied to Magna off-handedly.

Then, flicking his cigarette to remove the ash, Yami said, "Now that you are done with it. Start preparing."

***Half an Hour Later***

After getting done with everything, mainly sorting through the treasure, Finral along with Asta, Wilhelm, and Noelle stood, not in the stony Black Bull castle, but under the bright light of the sun, with their foot over the neat and clean road of the Royal Capital.

"Okay then. Have a safe travel. And tell me all about your talk with Wizard King."

"Will do. Bye."

"Bye Finral."

"Take care."

Three of them bid Finral goodbye who waving his hand walked into the shimmering portal that closed.

As he left, Asta asked an important question.

"Umm…does anyone know where is Magic Knight Headquarters?"

"Of course it is…where it is?" Noelle mumbled the last words under her breath as her face flushed from shame.

"You are a Royal and you don't know where is Magic Knight Headquarters?" Wilhelm asked in an incredulous tone, hearing which Noelle's shame only increased.

*Strike 1*

"Leave it, I know. Unlike a certain royal."

*Strike 2*

"But seriously Noelle, a map is infinitely more useful than you."

*Strike 3*

*Noelle out*

"Wh-I-Why should I remember these things? These are for my servants to remember, not a Royal such as myself." Noelle said those words trying to puff her cheeks but was too red to bring them together.

'If you were not so neglected and not have seen your mother ever, I would have shattered your pride but…*inhales*

…since you don't mean it, I will let you go.' Wilhelm thought but decided to take his frustration out in a different way.

By pulling her cheeks.

"Whaa! Lib by teeks adone." (Leave me cheeks alone)

Noelle said as she tried to struggle and pull Wilhelm off but could not overcome his grip. Ignoring her struggle, Wilhelm said, "As a 'Magic Knight', you should know of 'Magic Knights Headquarters', okay?"

"Yesh."

 "Really?"

"Yesh."

"Now say 'thank you for teaching me'."

"..."

"Say it." Tugs harder.

"Ow ow ow! Dan kyu!" Noelle said as she squirmed.

"Thank you for what?"

"Dan kyu for teeching be!!"

"You are welcome." Wilhelm said as he let go of her cheeks that looked puffed making her look like a hamster that had been wronged.

Rubbing her cheek with a teary-eyed look, Noelle said in an accusatory tone, "Why did you do this?"

"Because I wanted to."

"That is not a reason."

"It is, I just did it. I can do it again if you want to."

"No!"

Noelle shouted as she started to run away with her hand on her cheeks and Wilhelm ran after her, leaving behind Asta who did not understand what had happened and just decided to run after them.

The trio kept on running until a wind current passed in front of them. Snapping their heads in the direction where the wind came from, they saw, "Yuno, Mimosa, and Klaus!" Asta shouted at the top of his lungs.

Walking to them, when they were a few meters apart, Klaus stepping closer to them said reaching out his hand, "Hello Wilhelm and Asta." Moving their hands forward too, they shook it, following which Klaus continued, "It has been a week since we went to the dungeon. Are you here to give a report too?"

"Yes. Captain told us half an hour ago so we came immediately." Asta replied.

"Wait, but I already gave the report." Wilhelm said visibly confused, at which Klaus turned to him and sharing his confusion said, "Maybe…Wizard King wants to hear it from us straight."

"Maybe. Makes sense, sort of. We did capture Lotus, his followers and there is thing about our spoils from there."

"That must be it." Klaus reaffirmed Wilhelm's statement when Asta jumped in.

"Hey, could it be about the go-mfph" But he was shut up by Wilhelm who placed his hand on his mouth and spoke with eyes that shone red, "Not the place."

*NOD NOD*

'He is scary.'

Asta nodded with one thought in his mind with sweat covering his forehead. Seeing that Klaus was about to ask him about what Asta was talking about when Wilhelm immediately changed the subject, "Hey Mimosa. Thanks for helping me and Noelle in the dungeon."

"Eee…"

But instead of replying to him, with an incoherent sound she ran away.

"What happened? Do I have something on my face?" Wilhelm asks looking at everyone, when Asta replies, "No, your face looks as usual."

'Oh, maybe it is that time of the month.'

"Noelle, you should help her." Wilhelm said pushing Noelle to Mimosa, the former who nodded and walked over to her.

The 4 men left behind, engaged in their own conversation.

"So Yuno, did you figure out what that new spell in your grimoire does?" Wilhelm asked with apparent interest on his face.

Shaking his head in denial Yuno replied with his same impassive face, "No, I cannot understand it and when I tried to use it, nothing happened."

"Hmm…well you can only try." Wilhelm muttered, followed by Klaus who asked Asta, "What about you Asta? Did you understand that new sword of yours?"

With a bright smile, Asta replied, "Yeah! Wilhelm helped me to find that this new sword can absorb magic from others and throw them as slashes."

"That is a good sword." Klaus replied astonished by the sword.

'Understatement of the year. This sword is way too damn good that I would have stolen it if it is useless, neh, harmful in the hand of any person other than Asta.' Wilhelm thought as if it was not fair, not realizing that he got 3 types of magic from this expedition, where one excels in healing, the other in defense and the final excels in offense, that folded their entire team other than him of course.

"Kyaaaaa…!" Willhelm's thoughts were broken by a pair of Noelle and Mimosa who started to make weird sounds.

"What is wrong with them?" Asta asked innocently.

"They are girls."

"An apt answer." Klaus commented to Wilhelm's reply, and added in a louder voice, "Let's stop wasting time and go visit Wizard King. We must not keep him waiting."

"Yeah! Let's go!" Asta shouted as he started to run.

"He is going in wrong direction." Yuno said.

"Yup."

"You are not going to stop him?"

"Nope."

"Good."

…

Even though he did not want to, Wilhelm had to get Asta back to not make the Wizard King of their Kingdom keep waiting.

Quickly and without anymore chit-chat, they made their way to the Magic Knight Headquarters.

"This should be the entrance of Magic Knight Headquarters." Klaus said as he guided the group, that Wilhelm was more than happy to let him do it.

Then as they cast their gaze on a figure who was as tall as Yami, with broad shoulder. He had short blond hair, with a royal garb that started from his shoulder to his toes. On one of his shoulder was a piece of cloth that appeared to belong to an animal.

He looked to be in his late 40s, with a neutral to pleasant look on his face. The most striking feature of his was a star-patterned unique tattoo on his forehead.

The person was none other than…

…the Wizard King.
