As the deputy dean announced the start of the exam, the students scattered across the martial arts field gripped their Zanpakutō tightly, their faces tense with anticipation.

A burly, rough-looking student let out a roar and charged at Aaron from behind. Sensing the attack, Aaron immediately released a surge of Reiatsu, creating a gust of wind that pushed outward, disrupting his opponent's approach.

The atmosphere in the martial arts field was like a powder keg igniting; shouts of combat erupted from every direction.

"Full coverage! Reprimand!" Aaron shouted, summoning spiritual energy to shield himself before launching into battle.

Not far away, Retsu Unohana (formerly Yachiru Unohana) noticed Aaron's actions and swiftly joined the fray.

"Hadō #1: Shō!"

"Bakudō #4: Hainawa!"

"Hadō #4: Byakurai!"

"Bakudō #8: Seki!"

The air filled with incantations and Kidō blasts as students engaged one another. Despite the chaos, most participants relied only on basic-level Kidō, either due to limited skill or a desire to conserve strength.

Aaron, sensing an opponent's Reiatsu behind him, used Shunpo to appear behind the armored attacker. In an instant, he unleashed a bolt of Byakurai, the white lightning striking his opponent with explosive force.

"Boom!"

The student who had attempted a sneak attack was sent flying, landing outside the combat zone before he even realized what had happened. Shinigami medics quickly rushed in to tend to the fallen participant, carrying him to a nearby rest area.

The vice dean, observing from the high platform, shook his head in disappointment but kept his attention on the battlefield. Within minutes, several students had been eliminated or chose to withdraw voluntarily. The martial arts field, which had been teeming with participants, was now less than half full.

Whispers spread among the spectators:

"That's Aaron!"

"And that girl... She's the prodigy, Retsu Unohana!"

"They're both applying for early graduation? This is going to be good!"

As the remaining students began to organize themselves, two distinct factions formed—each targeting either Aaron or Unohana. Clearly, they recognized the strength of their opponents and sought safety in numbers.

On the high platform, the vice dean nodded in approval.

"It's impressive how instinctively they formed alliances to confront stronger adversaries. There's potential among these students."

A middle-aged Shinigami in a standard Shihakushō standing beside him smirked. "Potential, yes, but they're wasting their efforts. Both Aaron and Unohana have Reiatsu levels far beyond these students. It's like trying to fight a tidal wave with a wooden shield."

The vice dean replied, "Let's observe. This test isn't just about strength—it's a lesson."

Aaron observed his attackers with a calm smile, shaking his head at their strategy. With a burst of Shunpo, he vanished and reappeared among them, systematically dismantling their formation. His movements were fluid, ghost-like, and his strikes precise. Within moments, a dozen students were sent flying from the field, their plans in tatters.

Meanwhile, Unohana displayed a different but equally devastating fighting style. Her strikes carried an undeniable power, each one drawing upon her immense Reiatsu. Students who tried to face her head-on found themselves overwhelmed, knocked clear out of the arena.

It didn't take long for the alliances to crumble. The remaining students were either eliminated or retreated, leaving only Aaron and Unohana standing on the field.

The spectators fell silent, holding their breath as they watched the two prodigies face each other. Even the vice dean and his companion grew quiet, their attention riveted on the scene before them. These two students, in just half a year, had reached levels of power and mastery rarely seen in the history of the Spiritual Arts Academy. Both had achieved the fastest graduation records to date.

Unohana's voice broke the tension. "Aaron! Today, I will finally defeat you!" Her gaze was steady, but her tone carried a competitive fire.

Aaron chuckled. "Unohana, you haven't changed a bit."

Her grip tightened on her Zanpakutō. "The plum blossom blooms in the final frost of winter—Minazuki!"

As her words echoed, her Zanpakutō transformed. A massive, light-green, one-eyed manta ray materialized beside her, glowing with a soft white light. Gasps filled the air as the spectators realized what had just happened.

"She's achieved Shikai! This is incredible!"

"Aaron doesn't stand a chance! Her Zanpakutō's abilities are on a whole other level!"

"What kind of monsters are they?"

Despite the murmurs, Aaron remained composed. His lips curled into a smile as he spoke.

"So, this is your trump card, Unohana? Let's see how it fares."
