Tommy was still curious about what went on with Emma but he was also happy that she invited him to come inside.

Emma shifted to the side so that he would come in. Without wasting anytime, Tommy entered and Emma closed the door.

"Well make yourself comfortable in the living room, I will be quick so you won't have to wait long." Emma said to Tommy.

Tommy slowly walked to one of the couch in the living room and sat down. He looked around and he was impressed how everything was neat and well around. The apartment had a dull paint, to Tommy her apartment matched her personality.

Emma walked out of the living room and went straight to her room. When she got to her room, she immediately grabbed her bag and dropped it in a proper position then went into the bathroom.

She quickly removed the clothes she was wearing and got in the shower. She turned on the shower and it started to rain on her, then a thought crossed through her mind, it was a thought of Oliver.

It was a surprise to her that that thought came to her mind but she assumed that it was because of the water from the shower that triggered it.

The thought did not stay long in her mind because as it came, she quickly removed the thought.

Tommy was still looking around, he wished that he could walk around but he did not want to make any wrong move that might upset Emma.

This was the first time he has been inside her apartment because there has not been any reason for him to be here.

For him, not only would he go a supposed date with Emma, he was also inside her apartment, so many things were going his way and he started to think of telling Emma how he really feels about her today.

Tommy kept on waiting, though she said she would be quick, she was taking a lot of time but he did not mind that all.

"I am really sorry if I took a lot of time, I am just a mess this morning." Emma came to the living room while still packing her hair.

Tommy turned and saw Emma, she was all dressed up, she was on a black gown with a little makeup. She looked just like she normally does when she comes to work but seeing her now was different for Tommy, she look beautiful and he could not stop staring.

"Oh, it's not a problem." Tommy stood up.

Now Tommy stood up, Emma just noticed that he was on a suit, it was a black suit and it was her first time seeing him in a suit.

"The suit is nice, it really suits you." Emma complimented him.

"Thanks." Tommy smiled.

The whole atmosphere was so good that Tommy kept on thinking of telling Emma about how he really feels about her but then he told himself that it was too early to do that. The day just begun and they had a party to attend, so he thought of telling her when the day was over, "Yeah, it would be better then." Tommy said to himself.

"So are you ready to go?" Tommy asked.

"Yeah I am, the event should be starting soon so we should be going now." Emma replied.

Emma walked towards the front door and Tommy followed her. They both left the apartment building and entered the car. The car started to move and they were on their.

There was silence in the car, Tommy did not say anything and so did Emma. The whole thing was new for Tommy, normally by now if they were at work they would be talking about work stuff but today he did not want to talk about anything related to work. But he realized that outside work, he did not know what else to talk to Emma about.

"Wait." Emma said from nowhere. "You said that when you couldn't reach me you called Sophie. I don't remember giving you're her contact."

Tommy hesitated when he heard the question, Emma was right, she did not give him her best friend's contact. He got her number when he went through her social's but there was no way he could say that to Emma because she would think that he was stalking her.

"Well her number is always the first number on your contact and you hardly turn your phone off, so I saw her number." Tommy came up with something.

"So you memorized her number?"

"Yeah I guess I did, well I am good with numbers remember." Tommy tired as much as he could to stay cool.

"Well aright then, I was just curious that's all." Emma said.

As they drove, sometimes Tommy would turn to look at Emma, she was resting on the chair and it seemed like her mind was somewhere else.

"What are you thinking about?" Tommy managed to ask.

"I guess the party, I don't know but I have this feeling that something might happen there."

"What kind of thing?" Tommy asked curiously.

"Well I don't really know. And plus I haven't been to this kind of party before." She replied.

"Yeah, just be yourself. Just stay close to me and the boss, greet anyone that comes our way or anyone that the boss goes to meet. Trust me there really isn't anything there, I don't even get why they call it a party." Tommy assured her.

Finally they arrived at their destination. It was very big mansion and as they drove close, Emma kept on looking at it.

There were a lot of cars also going into the compound of the mansion and it was easy to tell that they were all guests.

Tommy parked the car and they both got out.

"Well we are here." Emma said.

"Yeah we are."

"So should we just go in or…?"

"Well I think we need to wait for the boss, he is the reason we are here." Tommy said.

"Isn't that his car?" Emma pointed at a car that just came into the compound.

"It is actually, seems like we came at the perfect time."

They walked towards the car as it was parking. The car stopped and Michael came out of the car.

"Good to see you sir." Tommy said.

"You two are here, that is good." Michael looked at the both of them. "Well then let us get going inside, the party is not out here." He continued.

Michael took the lead while Tommy and Emma followed him behind. They got to the entrance and Michael gave the security his invitation card.

Right before the entered, Tommy looked at Emma and saw that she was still a bit nervous so he said to her, "Just remember to stay close to me."

Somehow saying that made Emma less nervous and then they entered the mansion.
