Breaking Defense! After Losing My Memory, I Was Spoiled to Heaven by My Yandere Ex-Husband

Chapter 39

“No! Mr. Chen! You can’t leave! Don’t leave! Help me! Please!”

Chen Yumo walked out of the room, glanced at the people next to him, and picked up the phone. “Send me a pair of shoes, size 45,” he said.

After hanging up, he checked his phone and looked at the surveillance camera monitoring the guest room on the third floor of Emerald Water Garden. Wen Yusheng was sleeping soundly.

Screams echoed from the room behind him, but Chen Yumo calmly acted as if he couldn’t hear them at all.

The shoes arrived quickly. After putting on the new pair, Chen Yumo tossed the old shoes into a trash can.

“You guys carry on. I’m leaving now,” he said.

“Yes, Master,” they replied.

When he returned to Emerald Water Garden, Jiang Zhiyi and the others were still guarding the first floor. Chen Yumo nodded at them.

“Welcome back, Master,” someone said.

After taking a shower and changing into fresh clothes, Chen Yumo went upstairs.

When he opened the door, the scent of tequila mixed with a cold fragrance filled the room.

Chen Yumo walked quietly to the bed and pulled back the quilt, revealing Wen Yusheng’s face.

“Hey, what are you doing?! I’m sleeping!” Wen Yusheng complained without even opening his eyes. He yelled at Chen Yumo, turned over, and continued to sleep.

Chen Yumo checked his phone and saw it was already nine o’clock in the morning.

“My dear, should we go home now? Niangao is still waiting for us,” he said.

Wen Yusheng muttered something from under the quilt, but Chen Yumo couldn’t make out the words.

He stood up, took a light blue overalls jumpsuit and a black short-sleeved shirt from the closet, then went downstairs to grab a pair of black kart boots from the master bedroom on the second floor.

When he returned upstairs, Chen Yumo’s eyes softened at the sight of Wen Yusheng curled up into a ball under the quilt, refusing to come out.

He placed the shoes on the floor and the clothes at the foot of the bed.

“Yusheng,” he murmured, pulling at the quilt gently.

Wen Yusheng, still sound asleep, stirred slightly. When he finally woke up, his cheeks flushed red. “Chen Yumo! Can you be silent for a while? I’m really tired. Please let me sleep a little longer! I’m begging you, okay?”

Wen Yusheng pushed the quilt away, revealing several bite marks and fingerprints on his neck. Some had already turned into purple bruises.

Chen Yumo’s Adam’s apple bobbed as his gaze darkened. “It’s already nine o’clock in the morning. Let’s go home. You can sleep as much as you want at home. It’s not safe here. Yusheng, be obedient.”

Wen Yusheng sat up; his hair dishevelled. “Damn it! My waist! Ouch!”

Before he could fully sit up, he immediately flopped back down.

“No, no, my waist hurts so much I can’t move,” he groaned.

Chen Yumo quickly reached under the quilt, his expression tense. “Let me check. Is it here?”

Wen Yusheng bit the quilt, his face full of grievance. “Yes.”

“How does it feel when I press here?”

“It’s a little sore, like a muscle is tight,” Wen Yusheng replied.

Chen Yumo released soothing pheromones and gently massaged the area. Wen Yusheng leaned against his legs, closing his eyes as if ready to fall asleep again.

Seeing this, Chen Yumo had no choice but to dress him. He slipped the black short-sleeved shirt onto Wen Yusheng, then carefully pulled on the light blue overalls from the feet upward. With minimal movement from Wen Yusheng, the outfit was secured.

“I’m getting your shoes,” Chen Yumo said.

He lifted Wen Yusheng onto the bed, grabbed the shoes from the floor, and put them on his feet.
