I placed my glass of wine back on the table and turned to Alan.
This party is a pure waste of time but then I have to be here each and every year.
I hated being here but believe it or not, I sometimes struck proper deals and proper alliances here.
"Any signs for mom and dad? "
"No."
I grinned.
"By the way, your Bugatti would cost about a million to get fixed. "

I chuckled once she turned away.
What was she doing here?
"What are you looking at? "
Alan followed my gaze.
"Oh, your eyes caught a girl. "
He snickered
"That's the girl who wrecked my car. "
"No way."
I noticed how softly and innocently she spoke to the bartender.
"I'll be back." I said to Alan.
Alan looked at me with uncertainty and shrugged
I got up and walked slowly towards her.
Once I was close enough,
I cleared my throat.
Clarissa turned to face me and her eyes instantly widened.
Smirking, I grabbed her by the hand.
