CRUEL LOVE 1

Joseph got back that night and found Favour in his room. Well, she had the spare key to his house so she could enter anytime she wanted to.

Joseph wasn't ready for her this night. They have been sleeping together a lot and right now he was just tired of it.

"Hey Joe", Favour stood up from the bed and walked up to him seductively.

Joseph avoided her and slumped on the bed weakly.

"Hmm, Sophia called earlier and told me everything that happened between you too. I won't lie but I like what you are doing."

"What the fuck is wrong with you, Favour? First you slept with me and took a video of it. You blackmailed me and also told me that my woman is cheating but till now I cannot find any evidence about that. I know what I'm doing to her is so wrong and I'm beginning to hate myself for it." Joseph poured out his mind sincerely and held his head with both hands.

He was starting to regret everything and he wished he could stop all this.

Meanwhile Favour was stunned at his words. She could still feel that this man right here in front of her still loved Sophia so much.

"Why couldn't he love her instead? She had everything a man could want in a woman but he still didn't like her."

"You love her very much, don't you? She asked dejectedly.

"Yes. I love Sophia very much but I have made wrong decisions and hurt her."

"Okay."

Favour picked up her bag and left. She was going to look for another way.

Next morning

Sophia woke up feeling pains all over her body. She scolded herself for sleeping on the cold floor instead of going to bed.

She stood up with wobbly legs and went into the kitchen. She poured water in a glass and drank it all. She didn't have classes today so she planned to stay home today.

When she was about to go into her bedroom, she heard a knock on her door.

"Who could that be?" she thought.

She rushed and fix herself before opening the door.

"Fred!!!" she exclaimed. She was so surprised to see him here. She didn't invite him over so she wondered why he was here and yeah this wasn't his first time here but second.

"Aren't you going to let me in?" Fred asked with a smile on his face.

"Uh! Sorry. Please come in", she opened the door wider and he came in.

"You brought food?" Sophia asked when she saw him holding a bag.

"Yes. For you."

Sophia took the bag and looked inside. Food, beverages, snacks just for her. She was touched.

"Thank you Fred."

"You're welcome."

Sophia dropped the bag in the kitchen then came out to sit with Fred.

"You cried?"

"Ah no. I didn't."

"Stop lying. Your eyes are puffy."

"Uhm, it's not serious. I had cramps." She lied and Fred didn't dwell on it again.

They had fun talking and watching movie. Sophia felt so close to him. She wanted all these to be with her boyfriend but he just changed with notice.

While they were still having fun, a knock was heard on the door. Sophia wasn't expecting anybody again but she still opened the door.

"Favour?"

"Hey bestie" Favour screamed and hugged her.

She came in and saw Fred sitting in the parlor.

"What's he doing here?" Favour asked.

"Just to see me."

"Okay."

Fred turned to look at who just came in and he felt like he had seen her before.

"Hi." He greeted.

"Hi." Favour greeted back.

Sophia introduced them to each other but Fred still felt like he had seen her somewhere. But not as Sophia's friend.

"Have we by chance met before?" he asked.

Favour was already feeling uncomfortable. She actually knew Fred as Sophia's friend and customer. But he had seen her with joseph once. When joseph was about to leave school, she left with him in his car so she started feeling scared that he was going to tell Sophia.

"Bestie, can we go to your room for a while?"

"Okay."

They went to Sophia's room hand in hand.

"So what's up? Are you shy?" Sophia teased.

"Stop. I'm not. I just wanted to have a bestie time with you."

"Awn that's sweet."

"Why is he even here at your house? Couldn't you guys meet somewhere outside?"

"He came unexpectedly." Sophia replied sitting on her bed with a sullen expression. "But I'm happy he came because I feel better right now."

"Have you guys done anything sexual yet?" Favour asked trying to get answers from Sophia since her recorder was on.

"Yet? Are you kidding me right now? We are just friends and we can never get intimate. Besides do you expect me to cheat?"

Favour saw that she wasn't going to get what she wanted so she tried another way.

"Talking of cheating, do you suspect joseph of doing that?"

Sophia started feeling scared again. She didn't want to talk about this but she had to.

"I don't know. His attitude is different. It's like he has someone else out there."

"And what if you find out that he is really cheating?"

"I don't know."

"Bestie, you can't let a man just hurt you and leave like that. You have to hurt him back."

"How"

"Cheat back on him."

Sophia looked at Favour with wide eyes. "What has gotten into her?"

She found her advice weird and uncomfortable.

"I can't do that." she said and went back to the parlor to stay with Fred.

Favour still couldn't get anything into the recorder so she offed it and walked around the room. She actually had another plan in mind.

She removed packs of condoms from her bag and put it in the drawer. She opened some of them and dropped it on the bed and floor. When she did all this, she took a picture of everything and took videos too.

When she was done with that, she packed all of them into her handbag again.

She went down to meet Sophia and Fred talking about the movie they were watching.

"Awn you guys look so cute. Can I take a picture?"

Sophia was about to refuse when Fred accepted the offer.

Favour took pictures of them sitting, standing and laughing.

"Done."

She left shortly after taking the pictures. She had gotten what she wanted so she had to leave fast.

Meanwhile in Sophia's house, Fred was still around and actually planned to go after the movie. But as they were watching, he asked Sophia a question.

"Is your friend Favour close to your man?"

"Huh!! Why do you ask?"

"Well nothing serious. I think I have seen her with him before and I didn't even know that she was your friend."

"Oh"

"Yeah they know each other so that's it."

"Okay."

They were done with movie at last and Fred left.
