[Overview/Highlights]

This update would TRY to improve [Date a Singularity]'s quality and length while consistent update schedule cannot be promised, as I run on [motivation juice], I'll try to remember this book.

Minor refinements to the plotline has been written already. This plot was about him having Meta-knowledge, this time, he'd have meta-knowledge, but not as an higher dimensional being, but as an irregular that shouldn't exists in the world.

I already have 5 chapters down, first and second, and a brand new third, fourth and fifth chapter has currently been written.

Once I have at least seven or eight, I'll release it.

New Features

○ Extended Chapter Length (Hopefully):

Chapters now feature a minimum of 1.5k words or more.

Improvements

○ Enhanced Plotline:

The plot and the intended future plot hasn't changed much, but modded better to suit the story. I figured rather than being someone who'd have had insane Meta-knowledge, why not pull some [Deus Ex Machina] kind of plot that'd make it fit the story.

○ Writing Quality:

Can't guarantee this honestly, but I'll and I'm doing my best.

○ Regular Updates:

At least 1 chapter per week. Emphasis on the at least part, I may upload 2 or even more. And if I miss a week's turn, I'll double it and add it to the next week's own.

Honestly speaking, I might not even stick with the above.

But, on a more serious note, I'm working on like expanding the Prelude a little, I already have like 3 to 4 new chapters in between the Chapter 2 and 3 of this version.

I plan on expanding the Prelude to at least 10 chapters so we'd get a general background on MC and his relationships before moving on.

I see people are kinda interested despite my shortcomings so I went for a Training Arc to improve.

Anyways, down to the more important stuffs, a little rant from me on reworking Ikari's perks as the MC:

As we all know, Shido despite almost having almost everything, gaslights himself in a way that makes it look cringe and stupid.

He can use the abilities of Spirits, but doesn't learn how to use them.

I get it. PLOT, really.

But really, I know damn well, in OUR world, should someone have a lil bit of power, they'd abuse it to the limits.

So seeing Shido being blessed like that and doesn't even try to use it most times annoys me... a lil bit I won't even lie.

So, what if a true gaslighter of women who also loves sacrificing himself like Emiya Shirou exists.

But here's the catch, other than being smart and athletic for a human, that's all he has going for him, currently.

In the end, no matter how smart he is, there's only so much he'll be able to do in the face of the supernaturals.

He knows there's an impending disaster due to some [Dues Ex Machina] which would be relevant cause it's tied to the main plot of the world of this fic I'm building.

Anyways, Ikari realizes the only way to save his pookies is to gaslight himself, his pookies and his enemies, and so he'll do.

And this is Miyu's Emiya type MC whereby, he'll do anything to reach his goal, of course, after he Emiya Shiro's himself.

Little sprinkles... (on what hasn't changed, and what has been added in the new rewrite):

- With a little bit of Emiya Shiro, he gains power. (Said that couple of times but I'll add it here again).

- MC isn't OP which kinda leads to situations where by he's conditionally OP which I haven't seen most Authors do, as they just tend to make them real OP, or weak to strong.

Conditionally Overpowered means Ikari is overpowered under certain conditions.

Some may not like it, but if you consider MC isn't Shido, yeah, you get that even his powers will come at a price since he's a "human."

But on that note, if those certain conditions are fulfilled, I dare say MC could beat most characters, excluding characters like Mio, Second Spirit of Origin - Westcott, and Beast Tohka.

Of course, like I said earlier, some wouldn't like it, but my goal is to make at the very least an entertaining one for my readers, not MC being OP to the point where he can already cakewalk the verse, and that's the deal with his Condition.

- And again, I believe no DAL fanfictions I'VE read has covered Neighboring World or BEAST Tohka, so I want to mainly focus these for the first half of the Date a Live Arc. I dunno how long it will be yet.

But yeah, MC will Avatar the last Airbender the Neighboring World and explore them.

- This would be Date a Bullet timeline but without Kurumi and White Queen in it.

Ikari will replace Kurumi and I plan for another character to replace White Queen.

And here's the thing, every character I'd be using in the Date a Live arc is strictly Date a Live and Date a Bullet Cannon, including the character I want to replace White Queen with.

What does this mean? I won't be adding any other character from any other shows into the world other than Ikari - the mc.

Now that all that has been addressed, here are some more shits to expect:

(I know I've done this three times but stay with me now)

- With a incest level of relationship with [Nightmare] comes a descent deal of get one [White Queen] free.

- Oh, you want them to strictly be for Ikari? No problem then, add a little but of [Yandere] which may greatly mess up some things in the future for Mio just to spite her for what she did to their Pookie.

- There'd be some cringe in the beginning but it can't be helped. Additionally, I'm not that good with romance, so go easy on me.

What? It's not enough? Fine then, this great me would add an extra deal for you.

- Guess we'll travel to BEAST's world to make a binding vow to get a lil bit more power?

Oh? You want even more?

- Ugh! Fine. Guess since we already have some future characters that can travel to the Neighboring World and other Worlds in the DAL verse, why not simply make them open a portal to other worlds?

There. You satisfied?

Hm?

WHAT!? YOU WANT MORE!?

How greedy!

P.S: As said already. I already have 5 chapter (chapter 1, 2, from this one, with additional 3 brand new chapters).

When will I be posting?

Good question. I'll begin posting it tomorrow, I should be able to, hopefully, write 2 more chapters, and would then release all seven tomorrow.
