DC: Becoming Supreme With Technology ( I Beat Superman)

Chapter 44: Foolish Commander, The Invasion Start.

Ethan sat in the corner booth of a quiet Metropolis restaurant, his gaze fixed on the plate in front of him. It was rare for him to find time for a peaceful meal amidst his responsibilities, but tonight he had managed. Just as he was about to take another bite, his wrist communicator buzzed. The familiar emblem of Superman appeared on the display.

"Ethan here," he answered, his voice calm but curious.

"We need you at the Batcave," Superman's voice came through, urgent but steady. "The Justice League is assembling to deal with an imminent threat."

Ethan placed his utensils down, nodded, and rose to leave. "I'll be there shortly."

Outside the restaurant, he brought out his phone from his pocket and dialed Jaime's number

"Hello Jaime, something came up,Earth is in danger. I will need your help, I will send you the spatial coordinates of a place, teleport over." Ethan said " it is time to meet the big boys"

"Okay, I will be there" Jaime replied.

Ethan arrived at the Batcave in a blur of silvery white, his experimental suit shimmering faintly in the dim light. The Justice League stood around the central console, their faces set with determination. Superman was speaking to Wonder Woman and Aquaman while Batman and Cyborg analyzed data on the massive screens.

"Ethan," Superman greeted, his voice laced with relief. "Glad you could make it."

Ethan nodded. "What's going on"

A few moments later, a shimmering breach opened, and Jaime Reyes, suited up as Blue Beetle, stepped through. His scarab armor gleamed under the Batcave's fluorescent lighting.

"Whoa," Flash exclaimed, his eyes wide. "You're the Blue Beetle? That's awesome! You're the guy who fought with Ethan, right?"

Jaime gave a small nod. "Yeah, that was me."

Batman, standing near his computer, raised an eyebrow. "I see where Ethan got the inspiration for his suit."

Ethan smirked but said nothing. Jaime looked around, clearly in awe of being in the legendary Batcave with such iconic heroes.

Superman took center stage. "The Khurds are a warrior race from the Andromeda Galaxy. They are physically superior to humans, with strength and durability that allow them to tear apart metal and withstand heavy fire. They've already attacked a military base and stolen classified data on Earth's defenses."

Aquaman folded his arms. "What's their endgame?"

"Enslavement and conquest," Superman said grimly.

Batman, his voice calm and authoritative, stepped in. "Based on the data Superman provided, their mothership is likely cloaked, and they'll be targeting key installations worldwide. We need to intercept them before they can strike again."

"How do we locate them?" Wonder Woman asked.

Cyborg responded, "I can run scans for energy signatures matching their ships. It'll take time, but we should be able to narrow it down."

Ethan crossed his arms. "Time isn't something we have a lot of. If we wait for them to move, they'll always have the advantage. This is why we need a base in space—a place where we can monitor for threats like this before they reach Earth."

Batman nodded slightly. "It's an idea we've discussed before, but we'll need resources and coordination."

"I can provide both," Ethan said firmly. "Aether Corp already has the infrastructure to start such a project."

Superman glanced at the team. "We'll table that for now. Our priority is stopping the Khurds."

Flash turned to Jaime. "Hey, Blue, you're used to fighting aliens, right? Got any tricks up your sleeve?"

Jaime shrugged. "If they're anything like the ones we faced in Texas, I'll manage."

Ethan placed a reassuring hand on Jaime's shoulder. "You'll do more than manage."

As the team continued discussing strategies, the Batcave buzzed with energy and determination.

Aboard the Khurd Mothership

The massive vessel loomed in the void of space, its dark, metallic hull reflecting the faint starlight. Inside, the command deck was a hive of activity. Dozens of Khurd technicians and warriors moved with precision, their eyes fixed on the glowing consoles and intricate displays. The atmosphere was heavy with the hum of machinery and the quiet, disciplined urgency of soldiers preparing for war.

At the center of it all sat the Khurd commander, his imposing figure cloaked in the ceremonial black and crimson armor of his rank. His sharp, reptilian features betrayed no emotion as he watched the activity on the deck. His yellow eyes glinted with cold resolve as he observed the holographic display of Earth, spinning slowly before him.

One of the technicians approached, a datapad in his clawed hands. He saluted crisply before speaking.

"Commander Zhal'Kor," the technician began, his voice steady and respectful. "All preparations for the assault are complete. The 10,000 attack craft have been armed and fueled. Each craft is loaded with ground troops and bombardment units. Additionally, 100,000 of our warriors stand ready for deployment."

Zhal'Kor leaned forward, his gauntleted hands gripping the arms of his command chair. "And the beam accelerator?"

"The beam accelerator has been successfully calibrated," the technician continued, pointing to the central console. "It can deliver a focused energy strike capable of neutralizing Earth's largest military facilities in a single blast. Once the attack begins, their defenses will crumble within hours."

The commander's lips curved into a grim smile. "Excellent. What of their communications?"

"We have intercepted and analyzed their military transmissions," another officer chimed in. "The humans are disorganized and unaware of the full scale of our capabilities. Their satellites and networks will be targeted in the initial wave."

Zhal'Kor stood, towering over the technicians and officers around him. He strode to the large viewport, gazing at the distant blue orb that was Earth. "The humans are a primitive and disunited species," he declared, his voice resonating through the command deck. "They have squandered their planet's resources and polluted its beauty. They are unworthy of such a prize."

He turned back to his crew, his eyes gleaming with determination. "But their strength lies in their unpredictability. We will not underestimate them. Strike swiftly, strike decisively, and show no mercy."

The technicians and officers saluted in unison, their voices echoing, "For the glory of the Khurds!"

Zhal'Kor gestured to the technician. "Begin the invasion. Deploy the attack craft to the pre-determined strategic locations on Earth. Let their skies burn."

"At once, Commander," the technician said, turning back to his console.

The command deck lit up with activity. Red alarms flashed, and the hum of the mothership grew louder as the massive hangar bays opened. One by one, the attack craft launched, streaking through the void toward Earth in tight, disciplined formations.

Zhal'Kor turned to his lead scientist, who stood by a console monitoring the beam accelerator. "Activate the accelerator. Prepare for a demonstration of our power."

The scientist nodded and keyed in the commands. The beam accelerator, a massive weapon embedded within the ship, began to glow with a menacing crimson light. The energy buildup was visible even from the command deck as the weapon's capacitors charged.

"Target their most significant military installation," Zhal'Kor commanded. "Make them understand that resistance is futile."

The scientist hesitated for a moment. "Commander, such a display may provoke their strongest defenders—those with abilities beyond their technology."

Zhal'Kor smirked. "Good. Let them come. They will fall like all the others."

As the attack craft entered Earth's atmosphere and the beam accelerator reached full charge, the invasion of Earth began. The Khurds, a race bred for conquest, were ready to bring humanity to its knees.

Across the world, chaos erupted as crimson beams of energy rained down from the heavens, obliterating military facilities with devastating precision. Strategic installations in Britain, China, Germany, Russia, France, India, and other nations were reduced to smoldering craters in seconds. Panic spread as governments scrambled to respond, their communications networks struggling to stay online amidst the onslaught.

In the Batcave, the atmosphere was tense. The glow of monitors illuminated the faces of the assembled Justice League as Batman worked furiously at the central console. Superman stood nearby, his jaw clenched as he watched the devastation unfold on the screens.

"Helios and the Bat-Satellite have detected simultaneous energy surges," Batman announced, his voice steady despite the urgency. "They're targeting key military installations worldwide. The destruction is systematic and calculated. This isn't just an attack—it's an invasion."
