Chapter 208: C180
Rodey's questioning echoed throughout the booth.
As soon as he spoke, the atmosphere turned solemn. Heads swiveled one by one toward the mysterious man in armor who had suddenly appeared on stage.
The man stretched out his hands, and a blue electric whip lashed through the air, crackling with energy.
The twin electric whips gave away his identity.

The visitor's mask unfolded, revealing a rugged face. His appearance wasn't familiar to the public, but the crowd, eager to dissect the drama, was quick to speculate.
Especially Tony Stark.
Although the events had deviated slightly from the original timeline, the core of the situation remained unchanged.
Ivan Vanko hadn't made his presence known beforehand—this time, he revealed himself during the confrontation.
Tony's expression darkened as recognition dawned. Then, he sneered.
"So, it's you." He regarded the man he'd previously left for dead. "I was wondering how Hammer Co. managed to make an Arc Reactor. Turns out, it's you. And I suppose that missile earlier? That was your handiwork too. Real classy."
"It's me," Ivan admitted with a laugh. "But the missile? That was just a warm-up. Now, it's time for the real fun. Get ready, Stark."
Eddie froze when he saw the man's face.
"Ivan Vanko!" he exclaimed. "I thought he was dead."
Turning to Anton, Eddie lowered his voice. "Wait—did you know Ivan was behind this all along?"
"I told you," Anton said, reclining in his chair with an air of indifference. "His target is Tony."
"But why?" Eddie asked, baffled. "The guy almost died last time. Why would he come back for round two? What's his deal with Tony Stark?"
Anton narrowed his eyes, watching the confrontation unfold.
"This is personal," he explained. "Ivan's father was once a key employee of Howard Stark. For reasons unknown, Howard expelled him. When Ivan's father returned to the Soviet Union, his career crumbled. He was never taken seriously and eventually died in obscurity."
"So Ivan wants revenge for his father?" Eddie said, the pieces finally clicking into place.
"Not just that," Anton added. "The Arc Reactor technology Tony's been using? It originated during Howard Stark's time. Ivan's father was one of the main contributors to the project. While it was never completed, the data remained—stored in Stark Industries' computers. That data included Ivan's father's designs and insights."
"So this really is a feud," Eddie said, taking a deep breath. He turned his attention back to the tense standoff. The scene was growing more intense by the second.
Ivan had Rhodey under his control and an army of drone soldiers at his command.
Tony's side? Just himself and Harry Osborn, who had recently declared his intention to become a superhero and happened to be there by chance.
The odds didn't look good for Tony.
But both Anton and Eddie knew one thing—this battle couldn't simply be measured by numbers.
Some would watch, and some would fight.
...
No one knew that, at this moment, another figure lurked in the shadows.
His hateful gaze was fixed on Harry Osborn, the young man who had just declared himself a superhero amid the tense standoff.
His name was Max Dillon, a former electrical engineer. Talented but undervalued, Max had watched as his work—Osborn Industries' circuit designs, based on his plans—earned him no recognition or reward.
An accident had changed everything.
The incident occurred not long ago at Osborn Industries, where Max had fallen into a water tank filled with mutant electric eels.
The event should have killed him. Instead, it transformed him into something else—something monstrous and powerful.
Yet, instead of recognition or rehabilitation, Osborn Industries attempted to imprison him for experimentation. Max escaped, but the betrayal burned deep.
Now, he was filled with anger and a twisted thirst for revenge.
When Max learned that Osborn Industries would be attending the Stark Expo, he began preparing for this very moment. He vowed to strike a devastating blow to the company during one of its most public appearances.
This was no mere act of revenge—it was a declaration. A new supervillain would emerge from the shadows, and Max would ensure the world took notice.
The years of mistreatment and inequity had warped his mind. With his newfound power, Max abandoned his former timid self and resolved to seize control of his destiny.
At the expo, he waited patiently for his chance.
When the confrontation between Stark and Ivan Vanko erupted, Max realized this chaos could work to his advantage.
"Perfect," Max muttered with a sly grin. "The more chaotic, the better. Today, New York—and every one of you superheroes—will know the name Electro."
The tension on stage escalated as the battle began.
Boom!
Rhodey, piloting the War Machine, suddenly shot into the air and charged at Tony.
Tony, already suited in his armor, didn't flinch.
Clang!
The sound of metal clashing reverberated through the air as neither combatant used heat-based weapons.
"Tony, I can't control the armor!" Rhodey shouted, his frustration evident. "He's overridden the system!"
"Relax," Tony replied, his voice calm. "Jarvis is cracking the program Ivan uploaded into your suit. It's just gonna take a bit of time."
Even as he fought Rhodey, Tony kept an eye on Ivan in the distance. Turning to Harry Osborn, he called out, "Do me a favor—get Pepper out of here."
"No problem," Harry said, nodding. His gaze briefly swept over Anton and Eddie before returning to the task at hand.
Those two didn't seem to need his help.
With that thought, Harry grabbed Pepper and helped her onto his flying glider. Just as he began to lift her out of the danger zone, a sudden flash of blue light filled the air.
Zap!
A bolt of lightning struck with terrifying precision.
Boom!
Harry was sent flying, disoriented by the sheer force of the electricity. Pepper tumbled from the glider, narrowly avoiding serious injury with only minor scrapes.
The audience froze, stunned.
From the shadows stepped a man in a baggy gray hoodie and sweatpants. His body emitted a blinding blue glow, arcs of electricity flickering across his skin.
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzt!
The crackling sound of raw energy filled the air.
"Who's that?" Eddie whispered, still in the corner.
He turned to Anton, hoping for an answer. But for once, Anton's expression betrayed confusion.
"Finally!" Eddie muttered, a grin creeping across his face. "Something even you don't know!"
Anton ignored the jab, muttering under his breath.
"Electro... why the hell is he here?"
