After making her lose the chance with Alex, Tony thought she would be a coward again and run off back but to his surprise, she seemed to have decided to stay back in the country.

And that only angers him more, he could not help but feel that she no longer care that they are living in the same city.

It seemed she has forgotten so quickly what she had done five years ago and want to have a good life, well he has no intention of letting that happen.

Tony quickly put a trail on her and he easily found out about her next attempt which was to get an investor.

Even though he is not a big fan of Mr. Heckles and his absurd parties which he throws every four months, he did not hesitate to drop a visit.

Mr. Heckles who wasn't expecting him there quickly rush to attend to him leaving his other guests as none of them is as important as Tony Chen.

He has sent him invitations to his many parties and has received no response, so seeing him come to this one was a great puzzle for him and he could not be more excited.

Mr. Heckles quickly escort him to a private room and have drinks served in all kinds hoping he is able to please him well enough to form good relationship with him.

"I need you to do something for me" Tony said to him ignoring his offer for alcohol.

With the wine splashed on Valerie, eyes focus on them, she could feel their questioning and judgemental looks piercing through her skin.

Myanna notice the attention she has managed to gather and quickly brace herself up not to miss this opportunity to humiliate her, not after how she has ruined the other day for her.

"Who is this Myanna?" one of her friends step forward to ask not recognizing who Valerie is.

"She is a nobody believe me, I am just about to put her in her place and ask her out of the room" Myanna replied.

She really can't introduce Val as her father's illegitimate child or that she was the one who Tony Chen is absolutely still infatuated with.

"She was an errand girl for my family" Myanna cooked up an easier lie.

"Really?" the lady asked with distastefulness tone and look at Valerie who bites her lips getting them red at the stain on her white jacket.

The jacket had cost her a lot and seeing the wine stain on it make her so upset but she knows she have no right to be angry at her sister.

It was after all her fault for coming back when she has agreed never to until Myanna wants her back.

However being called an errand girl doesn't sit well with her either, even if she was upset, they are still sisters

"Myanna, what are you saying? I am your…" she want to correct but Myanna did not give her the chance to.

"I took you in out of my generosity and you think you can stab me in the back, you are a slut just like your mother" Myanna shoot angrily crossing her arms.

"Myanna!" Valerie cried in disbelief at her insults.

She want to speak back at her but she noticed the judgemental gazes overshadowing her again, her memory flashed back to five years ago when Myanna had exposed her identity in front of everyone.

Valerie feel her breathe getting too hard to let in and tightened her fists feeling suffocated at the thoughts of what was going on in the mind of everyone staring.

Mr. Heckles who had just left Tony Chen to find the woman who was supposedly coming to meet him sees the scene going on.

"It seem Miss. Waters is causing trouble again" His assistant informed.

Although he isn't really into women's gossip, he move a bit closer to see what is going on clearly, after all, Myanna Waters is President Chen's fiancee.

"That is…?" Mr. Heckles called speechless.

It is the same woman who President Chen has come personally to inquire about, he is not sure what the relationship them is but he know that she must be important to him if he could come all the way here.

Tony Chen already gloomy face turned into a big frown when he heard what Old Heckles had just said.

Without wasting a second, he rushed out of the room to the main party hall and get there just in time to see Myanna holding her arm up to hit Valerie.

"I dare you to touch her" he said in a loud threatening voice that cause heads to turn to him shaken out of their bones.

Everyone is filled with surprise to see President Chen at a party such at this, they all cover their mouth in agape and stare admiringly at him.

What is President Chen doing here tonight?

Did he come here for his fiancee?

Are they really still a couple?

Everyone start to let out the questions lingering in their mind hoping to get a clarification tonight.

Valerie who was being held closely look up at the sound of his powerful voice not failing to recognize it.

Completely ignoring Myanna who has already make a move to come closer, Tony Chen walked past her and stand in front of Valerie looking intensely at her.

Despite the frightening frown on his face, he still look as dazzling as ever and Valerie feel a hard tug in her heart, she clenched more onto Gabby who has seem to lose her focus.

"Tony?" Myanna called trying to sound familiar not to arouse suspicion with the crowd watching them.

"You must have lost your mind to the alcohol you've drank tonight Miss. Waters, How dare you call me by my first name?' he turn around looking fiercely and Myanna shudder.

"President Chen, this woman has…" a Lady who seem to be an acquaintance of Myanna try to speak up for her.

"Do you think you can speak to me?" he inquired angrily and the Lady is pulled away by her partner saving them both from the danger of getting target by him.

"Anyone that has something to say to her, should come to me first"

"No one is allowed to speak to her talk less touch a string of hair on her" he said with such authority that everyone quickly disperse away from them to avoid trouble and look away.

Myanna bite her lower lips hard clenching her fists so tight that she hurt herself but none of the pain was more than what has just happened to her.

Tony Chen has just disregard her like a piece of nothing in front of everyone and all for Valerie's sake.

Unable to bear the shame, she quickly run off to hide her face.
