destined us (Jungkook ff)

Next morning...

It was a day off for Yn so she was watching Tv while jungkook was at his office.

Just then Yn's buzzed and it was a text from her mother.

Yn/mom: hey today i was thinking to invite you guys over to our home... He hasn't visited our home yet so as a new couple you guys should come today as your father is also home.

Yn: mom i don't think jungkook can come he's busy in weekends too because he's not an employee like me... So don't worry I'll come over.

Yn/mom: but atleast tell him too! What if he comes?

Yn: no mom no need to bother him... I'll come alone.

With that Yn puts her phone down and continues watching her show. She didn't want to tell him that because after all he already mentioned not to bother each other's personal spaces.

Yn: Sorry mom... I had to lie.

....

In evening...

Yn arrived at her parent's house and they welcomed her lovingly... Yn's mom hugged her and they were sitting on the couch talking and after sometime her dad also joined them bringing her some snacks.

Yn/dad: Where's Jungkook though?

Yn: uhh.. you know dad.. he's a famous CEO so he has to do lot's of works in weekends too... So unfortunately he couldn't join..

Yn's dad looked disappointed and as a dad a sense of concern can be seen on his face for his one and only daughter.

Yn/dad: Is he treating you right? He's even busy in day off... You must not get enough time to spend with each other..?

Yn smiles hearing her father worrying about her... And she was about to say something but then a voice interrupted them "Sorry everyone.. I'm late.."

All the three of them looked at the person direction only to find Jungkook standing there with his office suit and a warm apologetic look on his face.

Yn's mother smiles widely in happiness "Oh my son, i knew you'd come!! See Yn i told you he'd come! Please take a seat son in law!" Jungkook bowed showing respect and sat beside Yn on the couch... Yn was still puzzled thinking how did he know.. she didn't even tell him about their invitation.

Yn/mom: I'm so glad you came... See Yn's dad you worry too much! He was just late nothing else.

Jk: yeah i got late because of the pending work...but i ofcourse can't miss coming here after getting your invitation... It's disrespectful.. you're also my parents after all.

Yn's mom was overwhelmed hearing him while Yn's dad also smiles... Meanwhile Yn was shocked because of what's happening...

Yn looked at Him and they made eye contact for a second but Yn breaks it... She excused herself and went to the kitchen with her mother.

Yn: Mom, did you force him to come here?

Yn/mom: No what are you saying... He's so kind and sweet. I texted him once and he immediately said he'd definitely come. And here you were worried for nothing! I know my son in law he's a gentleman.

Yn: Aghh why mom... I told you not to bother him... He must have left something important to come here just for dinner...

Yn/mom: What is wrong with you dear, you should be happy he's taking out time from his busy schedule just to meet us that shows his respect towards us.. don't worry too much. And help me making the dinner.

Yn sighed heavily because she feels like because of her family he had to leave his important work and thought he must be annoyed.

Meanwhile

Yn/dad: Son, I'll be asking you honestly... because i know how my daughter is... She doesnt make anyone realise about her pain and handles it herself... Even today she told me you won't come and that made me concerned if you guys... don't get time to spend with each other well because of your work...

Jk: don't need to worry father, we don't really need to be together all the time to understand each other because we have a connection from heart... Being away from each other won't affect our relationship...And i promise you! I'll never hurt her intentionally in any way...

Yn's dad felt good hearing that but he had something in his mind to tell him...

Jk: Do you have anything else to ask me? Don't feel hesitated i know you're concerned for your only daughter as a father... So you can ask me anything. I'll not take it offensively rather take it as a guidance.

Yn/dad: Actually i was concerned but not anymore because you are genuine... And you guys will know better about your relationships... So i would just say that please just don't make her sad in any way... She is my only precious child. And she doesn't express her sadness... So i hope you'll look after her well.

Jungkook felt a sense of responsibility and could feel the heaviness in her father's voice he nodded in reassurance and told him "I'll never make her sad in any way...father if i do... Don't hesitate to raise your hand on me"

Her father chuckled "Ohhh no no i believe you son... May God bless you two"

Jungkook also chuckled and the situation eased as they talked about other things.

After a while they were about to leave as it was already late...

Yn: bye mom and dad!!

Yn/mom: oh byee you two and also i hope nextime you'll come with a good news.

Yn gasped at her statement "Mom!!" and glanced at Jungkook who also widened his eyes and nervously smiles...

Yn/dad: Yahh don't stress my child... Go safely both of you!

Her mother chuckles along with both of them..And they bid them bye.

...

In the car

Yn: I'm sorry because of my mom you had to leave your work and i disturbed you.

Jk: It's not a big deal Yn... No matter what's our relationship they're still my in laws and as they're elder i have to respect them. I'm not that bad to show them attitude and disrespect them not showing up.

Yn: Still... You told me not to bother your personal space.

Jk: come on, are you still angry on the rules i made? And i also mentioned in that rule that if it's necessary then you can ask me i didn't tell you to completely ignore me. We have to co-operate... I'm not against you Yn in any way. You didn't even let me know about their invitation and just went there alone. What made you think I'll not come.. I'm not that egoistic as you think of me as... Thank god your mother texted me and i arrived on time.

Yn sighed heavily as her mind had various thoughts right now. But she felt relieved that atleast he respects her parents. He could have not visited it wasn't that of a big deal.. but he showed up respecting her pride and her parents.

Yn: hmm i understand... I'll keep that in mind.

Jungkook glanced at her and nodded without stretching the topic further. Even though he was disappointed at her but he kind of understood her point of view too. Somewhere it's his fault too for not winning her trust and starting their relation with rules and regulations.

...

Days passed by and their bitter sweet relationship continued like that...

Yn's pov.

Almost three weeks have passed of our "contractual marriage".. and in these days i have known him quite good enough after staying under the same roof... He's not that cruel as he shows.. it's just his nature that he can't express his emotions well.

Even though he talks coldly or rudely he genuinely respects me. He never tried to cross any boundaries and lived up to his so called rules.

It's not like i started liking him but i just like to annoy him to see his frustrated face. He looks so done with our bickerings. Our relationship is still bitter sweet though. I started understanding him that's very strange though...

I wonder when will this act end because i fear if it lasts long... I'll break my own heart..after all who wouldn't fall for a nice guy?
