Dimensional Chat Group: Speed-o'-Light

Chapter 22: 22: Sunbath

Seeing Random Guy, who had completely belittled her earlier, now singing endless praises about Kizaru, the competitive Blizzard of Hell immediately felt dissatisfied.

If she weren't separated by the dimensional chat group and had no idea what the other party even looked like, she wouldn't let this slide so easily.

[Hellish Blizzard: Is that guy really that strong?]

[Random Guy Trying to Hug Luo Feng's Leg: Huh? You mean Kizaru-sama? Let me put it this way: in the One Punch Man world—uh, that's your world—he'd definitely be an S-Class hero, and not just any S-Class. He'd probably rank either first or second.]

[Random Guy Trying to Hug Luo Feng's Leg: Aside from that one bald guy and Blast—whose full strength is still a mystery—there's probably no one in the Hero Association stronger than Kizaru-sama.]

[Hellish Blizzard: What nonsense are you spouting! Do you have any idea how strong the S-Class heroes are?!]

[Random Guy Trying to Hug Luo Feng's Leg: Oh, I do. I also know that your sister is the S-Class Rank 2 hero, Tornado. But compared to Kizaru-sama, she's still far behind.]

[Kobayashi: Don't be mad, Blizzard-san. Random-san always talks like that—he means no harm.]

[Haibara Ai: The sister is S-Class, and the younger sister is B-Class? Heh… how amusing.]

[Random Guy Trying to Hug Luo Feng's Leg: It's not as bad as it sounds. If she really wanted to, she could easily be among the top A-Class heroes. But she's perfectly content staying as the top-ranked B-Class hero.]

In the One Punch Man world, Hellish Blizzard's face grew darker and darker. The members of her Blizzard Group gulped nervously.

From her expression, this wasn't something as simple as buying cheap goods. Could it be that some rookie in B-Class had just refused the boss's invitation?

"Kizaru, huh? I'll remember that name!"

Hellish Blizzard let out a cold snort. She'd figure out just what kind of person this Kizaru was—the one that Stray Dog hyped up to the heavens!

This dimensional chat group seemed capable of pulling its members into other worlds. Once she figured out how it worked, she would drag Kizaru over to her world.

If it turned out he wasn't as strong as they claimed, she'd mercilessly mock those irritating people—especially that sharp-tongued Haibara Ai. How infuriating she was!

Meanwhile, back in the One Piece world, Kizaru, who was blissfully unaware that he had just been "targeted," continued basking in the sun with satisfaction.

Sure, lazing around in the sun had always been pleasant, but nothing compared to the feeling of lying back and watching his strength visibly grow at the same time!

Especially when it came to Kizaru's biggest weaknesses—physical strength and combat techniques—attributes that required extensive and long-term training to improve.

Yet, just a single morning spent basking in the sun had already equaled several months of grueling effort.

The only thing he couldn't improve simply by lying around was his combat experience, but for someone like Kizaru—who had been active at the pinnacle of the One Piece world for decades—combat experience was the last thing he'd ever lack.

"This is the life…"

Kizaru stretched lazily, the sound of his bones and muscles crackling like fireworks.

The feeling of growing stronger while doing absolutely nothing was too good to be true!

"My love~"

Just as Kizaru was enjoying his 'training,' a gust of fragrant wind swept toward him as Hancock, dressed in a silk dress, dove into his arms.

Their night together had barely alleviated her longing. With her mind filled only with thoughts of her beloved, Hancock wished she could remain forever attached to Kizaru's side.

"Why are you up so early? Are you saying I wasn't good enough last night? Hmm?" Kizaru teased, smirking playfully.

Even though he wasn't a musclebound monster like Kaido, and physical strength was technically his weakest attribute, the "weakest" of a top-tier powerhouse was still unimaginable for most people.

Hancock, as a Warlord of the Sea, was one of the few capable of matching him. If it were someone like Nami, there was no telling if she'd even be able to get out of bed the next morning.

"Ah~ My love, let's wait until tonight, okay? I haven't fully recovered yet…"

Hancock bit her lip and whispered softly, her captivating eyes fixed on Kizaru's with a look so alluring it seemed ready to overflow.

"Heh, I'll let you off the hook for now. But tonight…"

Kizaru murmured as he lightly nibbled on Hancock's ear. Whether Hancock truly was the "most beautiful woman in the world" was debatable, but so far, Kizaru had yet to meet anyone more irresistible than her.

"Lord Kizaru, Lady Hancock, the warrior selection is about to begin…"

Just as Hancock, her cheeks flushed red, was about to speak, a group of maidservants at the balcony entrance began pushing one another forward. Eventually, a particularly timid and unlucky one was shoved to the front. She cautiously stepped out and began her report.

Hancock, who was as docile as a kitten in front of Kizaru, was far from gentle by nature. The title of Pirate Empress wasn't earned merely because she was strong—her fiery temper was well-known.

Had they not been worried about the consequences of delaying the report, the maids might have kept pushing responsibility back and forth for much longer.

"Oh? How many warriors are there now on Amazon Lily?"

Before Hancock could flare up, Kizaru asked curiously.

Even in Amazon Lily, where Armament Haki was practically a given, these warriors represented the elite among the female fighters.

In terms of combat power, their lower limit was roughly equivalent to an average Marine Headquarters Lieutenant Commander. The strongest among them could even rival Headquarters Vice Admirals.

However, such elite warriors were rare even in the Kuja Pirates. If not for Kizaru providing supplies and training after taking over Amazon Lily, their numbers would have been even smaller.

"There are 137 in total, though most of them are rookies who passed the test in recent years."

Hancock tilted her head thoughtfully. As the captain of the Kuja Pirates, she might not remember each individual warrior, but she at least had a grasp of the overall numbers.

For Hancock, however, the importance of the Kuja Pirates paled in comparison to Kizaru himself.

If given the chance, Hancock wouldn't hesitate to trade Amazon Lily in exchange for Nami's position as Kizaru's adjutant.

"That's far too few. If I recall, the Kuja Pirates originally only had around 600 people, right?"

Kizaru shook his head. The population of Amazon Lily had always been a major limitation. Natural growth was practically impossible.

Especially since Kizaru had forbidden them from raiding civilians, their only avenues for increasing their numbers were attacking slave ships and adopting abandoned infants.

Thanks to Kizaru's support, Amazon Lily had established orphanages in numerous countries and towns to take in abandoned baby girls. However, the oldest of those girls were still years away from adulthood.
