Dimensional warper

"It's been a real pleasure having all of you here but..." Grace started off upbeat to sidetrack off in tears. Damon came from the side and gave her a comforting hug. He then took her to the side taking her back to the counsellor's cabin. Henford then taking over said ,"I'll finish for Grace. It really has been a pleasure to have you all here. To take a break from it all but to think that it would be at the expense of our own,we would have reconsidered." He looked at the students with an empathetic face as he slyly surveyed their fluctuations.

Some were on the verge of tears while others showed resilience but even they were shattered inside. "The investigations of finding Brad Camble are still underway as the police are still in search of him in the forest." Andrew and Ashley who were standing together as they looked at the results of their actions. Ashley was simply unempathetic enough for her to actually care. Andrew,to him death and the remorseful atmosphere was so casual that he grew immune to it. To think the people who were behind it were simply standing in plain sight.

"They'll find his corpse,provided the bears don't eat it." Andrew said. "A boy, afraid of consequences who ran into the forest,he could commit suicide,come clean or attacked by some wild animal." He concluded. "Do you feel anything for them?" Ashley asked. "Why would I care for people I don't know?" He coldly said. Henford then concluded as he noticed that the parents had started to arrive ,"Well,I hope for you safe travels. " He said getting off the stage. "So are you leaving?" Ashley asked as they stood remaining in their spot. "No. My mother told me that she'll be caught in her work so I'll have to go alone."

"Andrew! Can you please meet me in my office?" A voice came from behind,'Henford.' The pair ignored the crowds of people leaving and made to Henford's office. It was similar to an office but improvised. He sat behind his desk while the pair sat on the two chairs. The empathetic face that he had on earlier was gone replaced with a cold and detached face. "I've been meaning for the two of us to meet." He started off. "First,I should commend you for not getting my daughter in your dirty little games."

Andrew looked at him ,"It was natural. However I presume that you didn't call me here just to thank me." Henford's eyes narrowed,"No. The real reason as to why is because of an earlier incident that you happened to see. I just need you to clarify a couple of things and you'll be on your way." Ashley intervened,"It's not like he's clean. Can't we just blackmail him?" She asked his father however since the matter cut across Henford's affairs,he wouldn't hesitate to make any required precautions. "Sure he has blood on him and so do we however,that simply can't be enough."

"I'm sure we can come to a conclusion without any violence." Andrew said calmly. "Yes. On point." Henford said however Andrew could see his actual actions beneath the desk. His hands were no longer on the table and beneath it,he was fitting a silencer to his pistol. "But Mr.Henford,I doubt that you'll do such a thing as you seem incapable." Henford paused for a minute. 'How can a kid have the audacity to say such words?' "Do you think that I can't kill you?" He asked as a trace of fury could be noticed. "It's not that you won't take the shot but rather the circumstance won't allow you to do so."

Both Ashley and Henford were perplexed, Ashley in the dark of his father's actions while Henford shocked how he saw it. "Then there's no need to hide it then. It will be quick and painless." He said as he pointed the gun at his face. "I'm sure

that we can reach another conclusion without bloodshed. Sure we're all killers but we're still human." Henford remained unshaken as he corked his gun. Andrew looked at him with a smile on his face daring him to shoot.

*Knock-Knock*

A knock on the door interrupted the atmosphere making it crumble like a castle of cards. Henford withdrew the gun beneath his desk. "Come in." 'Dammit,'he cursed,'But how did he know?'was his question. It was the police officers from earlier who asked if anything important was taking place,"No. Please seat down." The pair stood and sat to the side while the police officers sat on the chairs closer to Henford. "May I be of any assistance to you officers?" He asked to which the male officer responded,"We were able to find Brad's body however he was dead. He died by attack from a wolf. Presumably at night."

'To think he'd venture that far out.' The pair thought. "His parents have already picked up his body and left. That's all." He said. Henford stood up along with the officers. "I can't thank you enough for the help you've ushered us." The officers started to make their way towards the exit however the female officer took a quick glance at Andrew,"Hey. You wouldn't mind if I asked you a couple of questions?" She asked. "I don't mind." Ashley thought that maybe he'd been caught. The trio walked out however the male went straight to the car while the female went to Damon's cabin.

It was similar to Henford's. The officer sat behind the desk while Andrew sat on the other side. The officer began the conversation,"I know that you and that girl are behind all of these murders one way or the other. However something that I can't understand is..." She trailed off. 'My deductions were correct. She's gifted.' "The amount of people you've killed. I can tell that you've killed a lot of people. Even more than the number of people on this planet." Andrew leaned further into his chair as he looked at her.

[{A speciality of hers is to sense the amount of bloodlust from a person and further deduce whether a person has ever committed murder}]

"Look,for the sake of your life and sanity,it would be best if you ignore any of this. After all it was ignorance of what they challenged that resulted to the death of every single person I've met. You don't want to make the same mistake." He said lying enjoying the luxury of the seat he sat in. "Are you intimidating me? A police officer!" She asked coldly. "Don't think that I don't know about your little trick. You were gifted a skill to measure someone's bloodlust,a skill perfect for a police officer."

"So how about we make the game fair." He said as a small golden black hole appeared in his hand floating not affecting or distorting the gravity of the room. "You're gifted as well?!" She stood up in amazement. "Unlike you,I gain a form entertainment from what I do. As for the rest, I'll make you powerful enough for the journey ahead because if you die then it won't be as amusing." He said as the black hole immediately appeared in her chest. She was fixed in place as she felt as if an ultra powerful vacuum cleaner was sucking in her insides putting her in place.

"I could kill you at any time I want. Remember that." As he moved his hand in a clockwise direction,the black hole twisted and contorted her insides as it grew bigger before covering her body in a golden and black layer and from the stress,she fell unconscious on the seat. He looked outside and the same black hole disappeared from her body leaving her perfectly fine and appeared right in between the earth and the sun it's size equivalent to earth. "Time to spice things up."

"I'll take it from here." Hedonism spoke taking over Andrew's body,his eyes glimmering from the unfeeling green to an ominous red whilst seated, moving his chair closer to the window for a proper view. The earth was shrouded in absolute darkness with the only form of light being the golden horizon of the black hole. Andrew could imagine the turmoil the world was under right now in his void. Every human was felt an oppressive pressure on their bodies forcing them to fall to the ground. "So will it be systematic or random?" He asked Hedonism.

"Both." The black hole got bigger threatening to swallow the earth whole but it remained perfectly distant before it started to draw closer to earth and in a matter of seconds,every human was instantly crushed by the pressure. The black hole started to get smaller and smaller till the size of a fist in Andrew's hand then disappearing.

*Snap*

Everything went back to normal as the police officer looked at Andrew,"What did you do?" She asked hurriedly. "Nothing much. I believe that you're done." He stood up from his seat then started to walk out of the office. "Arrgh! My head." She said holding her head. "I'll be off now,take care." He said in a prissy accent and left the office. 'So everyone should remember the black hole as how it got bigger but nothing beyond that.' He walked back into Henford's office to notice the two under panic. "Are you okay Andrew?!" Ashley jumped onto him. "Yes,why wouldn't I be?"

"Did you feel that? What was that?" She asked breathing heavily to which Andrew wrapped his arms around her. 'She was the only one who was alive during the whole thing so she's pretty traumatized but it should wear off.' Even when everyone had died,she was still alive thus she was more scared than anybody else in the room. "See, I'm fine. I hope you're well Henford." Henford got off the ground and sat crashing on his seat. "I'll agree to not kill you,but that doesn't mean I won't when necessary." Ashley was beyond delighted. "Thanks dad." As she jumped up from her seat and hugged him whilst seated.

The sudden change of decision,well everyone still had a memory of who the pressure was too intense and felt exactly how death was. Cold. 'And after the experience of what he felt, making another human experience death for him being would be severe. He might not kill anyone else thanks to me. Thanks to the effect of amplifying the pain he would feel personally. Maybe manipulating his mind would have been easier.' He thought. "Well I still have unfinished business here so Ashley,head home." The two left the office to run into the two officers outside.

"Kara!!Look at this!" The male officer came from the car yelling. With the eyes of everyone on him,he further proceeded as he seemed to punch the air and...

*Swoosh*

An energetic burst of flame shot out of the man's fists roasting the benches that were present into black ash. "It would seem that were given abilities. Maybe it was due to that black hole." He stated with joy written all over his face. Kara looked at Andrew who wore a smug look on his face. 'What? I said I'd even it out,right?' He said. She was shocked that she could hear him in her head. 'Psycho-communication. Well,have fun.' He and Ashley started to walk off. "If he has the ability to give everyone abilities,then what kind of monster is he?" She muttered beneath her breathe. She decided to avoid him at all costs remembering what he said,she wasn't that amazed with his partner's feat treating it as seeing water,got in the car and drove off.

"So how are you going to get home?" Ashley asked him. "I'll walk. I do recall seeing a bus station a couple of miles back." He said. "Or I could give you a ride there." Ashley said mischievously. 'I was planning on teleporting home but this is better.' Ashley and Andrew went to the parking lot and went into Henford's car. She had the keys so the two hopped in and made their way back. The car was sleek and fast,or from the way Ashley was driving,it seemed that way. "It would seem that people have gotten abilities from that. I wonder what mine will be?" Ashley said. "I don't know. What abilities do you wish to have?" He inquired.
