Dimensional warper

"What is that?!" The Crimson death asked with a look of worry on her face. "Whatever it is,it seems to be originating from the sea,where those two are." PyroStorm said as he too was startled.

"Andrew,I don't think that we should be here. Let's just head back." Ashley commented as she was scared out of her wits. Looking back at shore, something odd happened,the creatures that were heading straight for them suddenly disappeared. There was a strange yet ominous silence covering the entire beach as it went quiet.

"Maybe we should-" Before he could finish his statement, Ashley was dragged into the ocean.

*Splash!!!*

Huge tentacles emerged from the water below with the duo in between them all. They seemed to spread out like a blossoming flower as some had those monsters from earlier wrapped in within those tentacles before they were crushed turning them into bloody pools of blue.

Andrew however immediately swam downwards to chase after Ashley. The deeper he swam,the darker it got. He formed a bubble on Ashley's head to make her able to breathe underwater however he was unable to catch up. As Ashley sunk deeper in,less light graced her eyes till the only thing she saw was eternal darkness. The last image in her head being that of Andrew swimming down to save her.

Looking around,she couldn't see anything but she felt the tentacle wrap tightly around her right leg determined on not letting go. Then suddenly,there it was, light however she wasn't thrilled to see it as it didn't come from above but from the abyss.

Looking closer,she realized that it wasn't light but rather eyes gazing at her. She then felt a strange warm feeling in her right hand and looking at it,she noticed a strange tattoo on it. It was hazy resembling tentacles running all over her palm which stretched back to the rest of her body.

"Do you require my power human?" She felt a voice in her head. 'Hallucinations? Am I dying?' She thought. "No! Do you require my power?" Ashley was perplexed with her situation. She had questions. 'What kind of power?' However there was no response. An ability was better than none,she mused. 'Yes,I accept.' She hadn't talked due to fear

"You will be granted the ability to devour the abilities of others claiming them as your own." 'What?' She thought.

"GGRRHH!"She heard one of those creatures from earlier but it was captured as it was wrapped by numerous tentacles all over it. Looking at it,her right hand without her control was raised in it's direction then hazy dark tentacles shot from it wrapping the entire creature then crushing it slowly. She heard it's cries struggling to free itself from it's torment but it was powerless to do so.

The creature was compressed till it's head only remained but it appeared flayed with marks all over it. The rest of it's body was gone with the remains being a pool of blue blood.

*Crack-Crunch*

She started twitching in weird ways as she felt her own bones break. It was painful no doubt but it didn't last long as it would seem that the pain was gone almost instantly. "Ahhh..." She let out a sigh of relief as she felt her new body. She formed a fist and could definitely feel the difference.

"You have been able to take the creature's physique and prowress while still maintaining your body. You will also be immune to all kinds of poison with direct experience however you will be able to this with a week cooldown." She was informed however she was absorbed with her immense strength. 'A week is fine for something like this. Thank you.'

She appreciated the creature but no response came. Suddenly her world of darkness started to turn white and it was then that she realized that she was back at the surface. "Ahhh! Ugh!" She gasped for air as she coughed out the sea water. 'Weird! I thought I'd drown and this water doesn't taste salty as before. I guess I get more than I bargained for with this.' She looked at her hand to notice the hazy tattoo

"Ashley! You're okay!" She realized that she was being hugged by Andrew who was drenched in water unlike her who had no drop of water on her. "I'm okay Andrew. You don't have to smother me." She said hugging him back. She was still scared with what happened but as long as he was here,then it was fine.

"Why were you looking at your arm?" He asked though he saw it. He alone with her could see it but he had to play along that he couldn't. 'Seems that only I can see it.' "I thought I got hurt but I'm okay." She said as she noticed the tattoo on her palm fade away. She looked back at shore to realize something,her mask had fallen off.

She quickly covered her face with Andrew's chest who positioned the car so that they couldn't be seen by those out at the shore.

*HHHRRRR*

He heard the blades of the new chopper heading straight for them. "Let's get in the car okay." He said in a warm voice which she did subconsciously with his help. She was still trying to process what had happened. She covered her face with her arms as she laid back on her leather seat. Andrew who had fired up the engine,the car awaiting his command glanced at her.

"I'm so sorry Ashley if this whole thing was out of hand. Maybe it was a bad idea to make you go here." He said apologetically trying to offer her comfort. She took in deep breaths before snapping back to reality with the touch of Andrew's hand. She hadn't expected all of this but there were benefits to it, looking at the benefits that is.

"Andrew..." She started as tears were on the verge of her eyes,"I thought that I was going to die. But now I know that you'll always be here." She said as she strengthened her grip on his hand. For a regular person,their hand would have been squashed but he was adjusting his statistics so that it would be fine. "Ashley,I swore that I'll always be here and I meant it. Regardless of what happens." He said as he leaned in closer giving her a kiss.

She felt the genuine validation and truth in his words. "Very well Andrew. Whatever happens, you'll always be with me." She said looking at his eyes which he reciprocated. She switched seats to his now seating on his lap. He didn't technically need to drive the car as he could levitate it forward however he like the nostalgia of driving it. Slamming his foot on the pedal,the car shot forward heading towards the beach.

She leaned in closer to his chest seeking comfort which was warm and sturdy. She saw any stray monsters heading their way simply pop like a pimple into blue blood which was strangely peaceful for her to see making her reassured that she was safe. This time there were no bizzare creatures aiming to claim their lives rather a calm and peaceful drive.

The car finally made it to the shore.

*WHOOSH*

The whirling sound of the jet was heard as it made it's way down landing gracefully on the sand. "I have to make a small conversation." Andrew said as he whispered in her ear. "Uhm,okay but hurry up. I don't want anything bad to happen." She cooed softly getting of his lap switching seats. He fixated his mask properly on his face.

*Click*

Simultaneously the door of the car and the hatch of the jet opened up at the same time. Those on the beach we shocked to see an individual to come out of the car but they were extremely wary of him. His black hair was still visible but what startled them was his age. He didn't look that old,he looked as if he was in his early twenties.

The trio lined around him boxing him in but he didn't seem worried as he looked at the jet. "I don't know what drove you to do that but it was stupidity in it's finest." The PyroStorm snorted confident with the situation. "Is she here?" Andrew said through his mask with his voice distorted to be deeper and groggier than it usually was.

"I don't know who you are but it would seem that we may have a misunderstanding." A feminine voice came from the jet. It was the Star Queen. Andrew didn't reply as he faced her. The commander was way at the back. He walked farther away from the car heading straight for the Star Queen but he paused. Not because he was eager but he didn't want Ashley to overhear the conversation.

Another lady appeared behind the Star Queen and upon closer look,it was Kate in her casual clothes. "I'm so sorry for ruining your day off Kate but I'd like you to tell your friends to let us leave." She was wearing a blue t-shirt and pink pants still in her slippers with her blue hair slightly disheveled. "I'm sorry,I don't think we've met before." She stated quizzically. "What is your association with Kate and how do you know her?"

The Crimson death asked fiercely. "Look! I have a simple request of letting us simply drive off.I am aware that all of you do not belong from this world but another which was present with people like yourselves with special abilities.You can search for us later but as for now,fuck off" He said blandly clearly unintimidated by the people in front of him. "May I ask who you are?" The Star Queen asked.

"Why are you asking me? Kate knows, don't you?" He said jokingly. Kate who was skeptical trying to rack up her brains trying to recall where she had met this individual suddenly fell to the sandy ground. "Arrgh!!" She screamed clutching her head. "Do you remember now?" The five were shocked by what happened. "What did you do?" The Ironheart asked. "Jogging her memory." He said looking at her sprawling on the floor.

Kate started to get flashbacks to the day the emergence of the black hole. The devil who instigated the whole thing seated on his chair as her body was being crushed down by an insurmountable pressure but so ever so slowly it felt like an eternity. The devilish smile plastered on his face as he watched her die. Along with her rememberance,she finally snapped. "It's you!!" She shouted like a person who was wrongly accused then finding out the person framing them.

"So you remember. However you don't remember all of it,do you?" Even though Andrew had removed that memory from her brain,when he reintroduced it back to her,he omitted one crucial detail,his face. She could only remember vague images of him,the only thing standing out was his sadistic smile. "Now that you remember, please fulfill my request."

He said as he started heading back the the car. "Where do you think you're going?!" The PyroStorm asked in fury. He couldn't allow the killer of his comrade simply leave scott free. "No!! Don't bother fighting him!! We'll all lose serving as his entertainment. Just let him go." She said clinging onto the Star queen's arm. "I'll explain later but trust me when I say that not even you can last five minutes against him." She urged on.

The Star Queen was baffled with what Kate was telling her. 'Is he really that much of a threat? Maybe he is playing with her mind to have us force him to leave. But it doesn't look like she's faking it. Is he really that good or that dangerous?' She thought. "We simply can't let him leave!" The PyroStorm spoke out in frustration. "I'll have to agree with him,we can't let him leave." The Crimson death backed him up. Shortly everyone agreed to take him down.

"Alright,I've come to a conclusion." She declared. "Please,Star Queen, I'm begging you, don't provoke him." She said on her knees holding onto hers like a child. "You!" The Star Queen shouted pointing at Andrew,"Your actions have resulted in the death of not only one of our own but also the death of many valiant soldiers today therefore you must be held accountable for your actions."

"NOOO!! You don't know what you are doing!!" Kate screamed as she clung harder onto the Star Queen's leg.
