Douluo: Becoming a God by Relying on my Enemies

Chapter 64: Chapter 64: The Enraged Titan Giant Ape

Meng Shu's words, like scattered dust, failed to elicit any response from the Titan Giant Ape.

The enormous beast, with its towering frame, took a single step forward, and an oppressive pressure blanketed the entire area. The air itself seemed heavier, suffocating everyone present.

Yun Feng's heartbeat quickened. His gaze instinctively turned toward Xiao Wu, knowing that being far from her would be the safest option in the storm that was about to unfold.

With that thought, Yun Feng quietly retreated, trying to position himself as far from the coming danger as possible. Familiar with the plot, he knew the Titan Giant Ape's target was Xiao Wu; there was no reason for him to risk himself unnecessarily.

The moment Yun Feng stepped away from Xiao Wu, the Titan Giant Ape moved.

It took a single step—simple, yet with its enormous body, it was enough to bridge the distance between itself and the group from Shrek Academy, along with Meng Shu and the others.

In that instant, a single thought consumed everyone's minds: What now?

Even the aura emanating from the Titan Giant Ape was enough to instill deep despair in the Shrek team.

Zhao Wuji's heart wavered with fear and indecision. He knew that against such a king of spirit beasts, their combined strength was laughably insignificant—even with Meng Shu and Chao Tianxiang present.

He would rather face a Titled Douluo than oppose this monstrous creature. At least with a human, he could plead for mercy. But against this beast, Zhao Wuji had no such hope.

The animosity between spirit beasts and humans was an irreconcilable reality. As Yun Feng had said before, from the moment spirit masters began cultivating, conflict with spirit beasts was inevitable.

And the Titan Giant Ape, the undisputed king of the forest, was no exception. Its very presence before them was proof of this.

While despair overwhelmed everyone, Yun Feng made an unexpected decision.

He stepped forward, his expression firm and resolute, his voice cutting through the oppressive silence of the forest:

"Everyone, we can't just sit here waiting to die!"

"Dying like this would be too humiliating. Even if we're doomed, we should at least try to take a piece of this Titan Giant Ape with us!"

His words struck like lightning, piercing through the dark haze clouding everyone's hearts.

Meng Shu and Chao Tianxiang, seasoned veterans who had seen their fair share of battles, were momentarily stunned by Yun Feng's resolve.

That's right—if we must die, we won't go down without a fight!

"Good! Well said! We've lived most of our lives, yet we needed a youngster to show us reality!" Meng Shu exclaimed, his voice tinged with both self-mockery and determination.

"If we can't escape, then we fight!"

Seeing their reactions, Yun Feng's lips curled into a faint smile.

Without hesitation, Yun Feng activated his spirit power, and his spirit rings began to glow as he charged forward.

Xiao Wu, seeing this, was nearly frightened to death.

Taking advantage of the group's distraction, she urgently signaled the Titan Giant Ape.

The beast's enormous eyes flickered with a trace of understanding. It had received Xiao Wu's message.

The Titan Giant Ape's towering frame stood as an immovable mountain, its deep eyes radiating disdain for the insignificant human challenging its authority.

Were it not for Xiao Wu's command to refrain from harming him, the Titan Giant Ape could have easily swatted Yun Feng away like an insect.

Though unimpressed by Yun Feng's attack, it chose not to respond aggressively. After all, its main purpose was to meet Xiao Wu.

Yun Feng's sudden action, however, sparked a chain reaction. It awakened the survival instincts of Zhao Wuji and the others.

Faced with death, resistance was their only hope for survival.

Meng Shu and Chao Tianxiang exchanged a glance, a faint smile on their faces as they admired Yun Feng's bravery.

"Old woman, who would've thought our last battle together would be in a place like this—and with no juniors who truly understand the reality we face. What a farce!"

Meng Shu's voice carried a hint of self-deprecation but was laced with resolve.

"Fear of death grows with age. Don't let it bother you, old man. We've lived a good life, and as long as Yiran is safe, we can accept any fate," Chao Tianxiang said, her tone both somber and determined.

Their words echoed through the forest, rallying everyone's spirits.

Without hesitation, they grabbed Yun Feng and Meng Yiran, flinging them toward the rear to interrupt Yun Feng's futile charge.

Meng Shu's thunderous voice roared:

"Yiran, Yun Feng, my strength is limited. I'll buy you a moment to escape. Don't waste time—run now!"

"Yun Feng, promise me you'll take care of Yiran!"

The brilliance of their spirit rings illuminated the forest, a testament to their unwavering determination.

Zhao Wuji took a deep breath, activating all his spirit skills. His body radiated waves of gravity, engulfing the entire forest in an oppressive force.

The Titan Giant Ape, initially restrained by Zhao Wuji's gravity control, let out a furious roar.

Its rage shook the forest, causing the ground to quake. With a swift swing of its massive limbs, it shattered the oppressive chains binding it.

Zhao Wuji was sent flying like a discarded stone, his previous might utterly overwhelmed.

Meng Shu and Chao Tianxiang, despite their formidable strength, were no match. Like obstacles in its path, they were swatted away by the Titan Giant Ape with casual ease.

Seeing the futility of resistance, Dai Mubai, Tang San, and the others abandoned the fight, choosing to retreat.

Ning Rongrong, with her Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda, bolstered Yun Feng, Xiao Wu, and the rest of their group. Her radiant support skills provided the strength and speed they desperately needed to escape.

Despite her efforts, the Titan Giant Ape's anger intensified. Watching its "sister" Xiao Wu being taken further away, its attacks grew increasingly ferocious.

As the beast's dark aura engulfed the forest, it seemed as though the end was inevitable. Its colossal form leaped into the air, casting a shadow that consumed everything below.

Behind them, Zhao Wuji, Meng Shu, and Chao Tianxiang struggled futilely, their bodies immobilized by the overwhelming pressure.

Despair gripped everyone as the Titan Giant Ape descended, its

massive form blotting out the moonlight, promising devastation unlike anything they had faced before.
