Douluo Dalu: Eclipse de Almas

Xu Tian took a deep breath, his heart pounding as he stared at the void around him. The reflection he had seen before him was not only a manifestation of his pride, but of his deepest fears: the possibility of not being enough, of not being the leader his Sun martial soul demanded of him. Yue Lian was there as well, although he could not see her physically. He felt her presence like a distant glow, like the Silent Moon in all its splendor.

Just like him, Yue Lian had been confronted with her own fears. But in her case, the test had been more complicated. The Blazing Sun within Xu Tian reacted to these words, burning brightly, but he paused to reflect.
