Douluo Dalu: The Legend of The Spider Emperor

Chapter 111: Chapter 111: Tang Hao Rescues His Son

Tang Hao was in a bind. After leaving home for more than a decade, he had accidentally stumbled upon his younger sister's place. Under normal circumstances, he would never have come here—after all, he was no longer a member of the Clear Sky Clan.

"Big Brother… how is he?" Tang Hao asked, his expression complicated.

Tang Yuehua replied, "Big Brother is doing well. The last time I returned to the clan, I caught a glimpse of him holding our childhood portrait, looking utterly heartbroken."

"This time, you must come back with me."

"Go back?" Tang Hao gave a bitter smile. "I'm no longer part of the Clear Sky Clan, Yuehua. My coming here was purely accidental, and now it's time for me to leave."

"Leave?" Tang Yuehua frowned, visibly displeased. "Where will you go? We siblings haven't seen each other in over a decade, and you don't have anything to say to me?"

"..."

Tang Hao fell silent.

Tang Yuehua studied her elder brother, now a shadow of his former self. She could hardly believe that the once high-spirited Clear Sky Douluo had ended up like this.

"Why did you go to Spirit Hall last time? Do you know how dangerous that was?" she asked, referring to the events three months prior.

The battle between Tang Hao and Spirit Hall three months ago had sent shockwaves across the continent. Severely injured, Tang Hao had vanished without a trace afterward.

The Clear Sky Clan, despite its self-imposed seclusion, had reacted in two extremes upon hearing the news.

A small minority worried about Tang Hao's safety.

However, the five elders of the clan, led by the Seventh Elder, condemned his actions as a disgrace to the Clear Sky Clan.

Among them, the Seventh Elder bore a personal grudge. His son had been killed by Spirit Hall, a tragedy he blamed solely on Tang Hao. He wished for nothing more than Tang Hao's death.

Tang Hao sat in a daze, unwilling to relive the painful memories of that day.

Suddenly, Tang Hao's head snapped up as he sensed a powerful aura rivaling his own passing swiftly nearby.

He rushed to the balcony and spotted a figure flying at incredible speed, shrouded in a green aura. On the figure's shoulder was what appeared to be a person.

"A Titled Douluo…" Tang Hao muttered. He recognized the energy signature—it was none other than Dugu Bo, the Poison Douluo, who had been at Heaven Dou Imperial Academy just yesterday.

"What is that old poisoner doing in Heaven Dou City?"

His gaze followed Dugu Bo's trajectory, which led toward—

"Shrek Academy?"

Tang Hao's heart sank.

Dugu Bo would never leave Shrek Academy without a reason. Known for his erratic and ruthless nature, his encounters with ordinary soul masters often ended in death.

The figure on Dugu Bo's shoulder… something about it felt eerily familiar. A blue outfit, short black hair…

Tang Hao froze.

"That's… my son!"

Ever since the incident with Ye Ritian, Tang Hao had sworn to stay by his son's side to prevent such events from ever happening again.

But now, in a moment of negligence—

"Dugu Bo!"

Tang Hao's roar filled the room, the oppressive aura causing the atmosphere to grow heavy. His eyes turned bloodshot as the Clear Sky Hammer materialized in his hand.

Without waiting for Tang Yuehua's questions, he leapt from the balcony and disappeared.

Tang Yuehua could only shake her head in exasperation. "Second Brother has changed so much."

She pondered the name that had so enraged her brother.

"Dugu Bo? Poison Douluo?"

"What could my brother possibly have to do with him?"

Unable to find an answer, she sighed, tidied the room, and extinguished the lights, watching Tang Hao's departure with a heavy heart.

Meanwhile, in the center of the Sunset Forest…

The Death God's Temple, cloaked by the Death God's Heart, was hidden so well that even Titled Douluo would struggle to locate it.

Ye Hao, the Death Spider Emperor, and Xiao Hong lay in a triangular formation on the grass, gazing at the starry night sky. A mischievous shooting star streaked across, breaking the stillness of the night.

"Hey, Xiao Hong, where's your red underwear? Put it on again for us to see," Ye Hao teased.

"Yeah, Red Bro! It really suits you," the Death Spider Emperor chimed in.

Xiao Hong rolled her eyes at the two, then sprawled out lazily on the grass, stretching with a long sigh.

Suddenly, a chilling aura flashed across the sky. The three of them immediately sat up, their eyes fixed on the direction of the disturbance.

"Dugu Bo!" they exclaimed in unison.

"That old man sure has energy to spare, running around at night," Xiao Hong quipped.

The Death Spider Emperor added, "Master, I caught a glimpse of someone slung over his shoulder."

Ye Hao nodded thoughtfully. "That's likely him."

"Who?" Xiao Hong asked.

Ye Hao turned to retrieve the Death God's Temple into the Death God's Heart, then signaled for Xiao Hong and the Death Spider Emperor to do the same. Using the Death God's Heart's dark concealment ability, he shrouded himself in darkness to remain hidden from the Titled Douluo.

"Where are you going?" Xiao Hong's voice echoed in Ye Hao's mind.

Ye Hao smirked. "To watch the old poisoner in action."

Though Ye Hao had already cured Dugu Bo's poison and looted the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well of its immortal herbs, he left a few seeds for regrowth. Xiao Hong had been lenient enough not to completely strip the area.

As Ye Hao prepared to head out and enjoy the spectacle of "Dugu Bo's trial of Tang San," a black-clad figure carrying a hammer streaked across the sky.

"That hammer…" Ye Hao murmured, narrowing his eyes. "The Clear Sky Hammer?"

He stroked his chin, grinning. "So even Tang Hao has joined the fray. This is getting more and more interesting."

Xiao Hong's voice resurfaced in his mind.

"I sense three more presences approaching. Two are familiar—one is that overly confident, level-29 stiff-faced boy. The other claims to be Shrek's headmaster. The last one… seems to be a woman."
