Dragon Ball: The Strongest Training

Chapter 17: The Gravity Training Room

Another 30 days passed, and Krillin couldn't help but frown as he reviewed his progress. His battle power had only increased by 15,000. This was understandable—during his time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, he had the benefit of Kami's 10x gravity suit, combined with the chamber's inherent 10x gravity and harsh environment, which had enabled a daily increase of 700 battle points. Now, living comfortably, it was only natural for his growth to slow.

"Looks like it's time to visit Dr. Brief to get a gravity training room built," Krillin thought.

As one of Earth's foremost scientists, Dr. Brief should find constructing such a room a simple task. Krillin scratched his head. I wonder how much it'll cost? Then again, his family is insanely rich—maybe he'll do it for free.

Deciding not to be lazy, Krillin took off and flew at full speed toward West City.

West City, a Hub of Advanced Technology

Cars sped along bustling highways under futuristic skyscrapers, their glass façades shimmering with holographic displays. The technology of the Dragon Ball world was astonishing—sophisticated androids, time machines, and gravity-defying capsules proved that Earth was a high-tech planet. However, unlike other advanced civilizations, Earth's technological marvels were controlled by a select few.

Capsule Corporation was a world-renowned leader in innovation, and it wasn't long before Krillin arrived at the massive campus after asking for directions.

The headquarters was a colossal dome-shaped structure, combining futuristic design with practical function. The Capsule Corp logo was prominently displayed across the complex, which spanned thousands of acres.

"Wow, this place is massive," Krillin murmured in awe. Rich people really live differently.

He approached the intercom near the entrance and called out, "Bulma! Bulma!"

Before long, a familiar figure rode up on a hovercraft.

"Krillin? Is that you?" Bulma waved as she approached.

Krillin waved back, calling, "Over here!"

As she drew closer, Krillin couldn't help but notice her striking appearance: her signature blue hair, a figure that could only be described as stunning, and legs accentuated by a short miniskirt.

Krillin smacked his forehead. Yep, that's the Bulma I remember.

"Hey, Krillin! Long time no see. What brings you here?" Bulma asked.

"I need your dad's help to build a gravity training room," Krillin explained.

"Got it. Follow me!"

A Tour of Capsule Corp

Krillin followed Bulma through the sprawling facility, amazed by the futuristic gadgets and robots, including one that resembled a rooster.

"Wow, this place is incredible!" Krillin exclaimed.

After navigating a maze of hallways, they arrived at an open courtyard filled with rare plants, colorful fountains, and exotic animals.

"Bulma, is there something you need?" A man in a lab coat approached—Dr. Brief himself.

"Dad, Krillin needs a gravity training room built," Bulma explained.

"Hello, Dr. Brief! I'm Krillin, one of Bulma's friends," Krillin greeted politely.

Dr. Brief gave him a curious look. "I heard Bulma's friends are usually short. You don't seem too short, though."

Bulma flushed with embarrassment. Is this guy really my dad? Wait a minute—did Krillin get taller?

Ignoring her father's remark, Krillin got to the point. "I'd like a gravity training room capable of at least 100x gravity."

Dr. Brief raised an eyebrow. "A hundred times gravity? That's insane. If you weigh 100 pounds, that'd be 10,000 pounds under 100x gravity! No human body could withstand that."

Krillin chuckled. "Don't worry, Doctor. I'm a strong martial artist—I can handle it."

Dr. Brief nodded after a moment of thought. "Alright, give me half a month. It'll take some time to get everything ready."

Krillin's face lit up with excitement. "Thank you so much!"

Half a Month of Waiting

Krillin spent the next two weeks waiting for the gravity room to be completed. Though tempted to stay at Bulma's, he decided against it, worried about awkward future interactions with Android 18.

Instead, he checked into a five-star hotel. "Because I can," he told himself, though the extravagant costs made him wince.

The Finished Gravity Training Room

Fifteen days later, Krillin returned to Capsule Corp. Dr. Brief was making final adjustments, his focus intense. Despite his usual laid-back demeanor, the man was a perfectionist when it came to his work.

After some time, Dr. Brief stepped back, clearly exhausted. "It's done," he said, exhaling deeply.

"Krillin, give it a try. The room isn't just for gravity training—it's equipped with music, a bath, and a relaxation zone. It's practically a luxury suite!" Dr. Brief said with pride.

The gravity training room was dome-shaped, about half the size of a classroom, with reinforced tiles designed to withstand extreme pressure. Stepping inside, Krillin was surprised at how spacious it felt. It must use Capsule Corp's spatial compression technology.

Approaching the control panel, Krillin activated the room and set it to 20x gravity. Instantly, he felt the familiar weight pressing down on him. Concentrating, he summoned his energy, and within two breaths, his body adjusted.

"Ah, this is exactly what I needed!" he exclaimed, grinning.

He gradually increased the gravity, testing his limits. At 100x gravity, the air seemed to darken, and every movement required immense effort. Yet, Krillin smiled through the strain. This is the perfect environment for growth.

Stepping out of the room, Krillin said, "Dr. Brief, this is amazing! You're a genius."

Dr. Brief's face lit up at the praise. "Well, I do my best," he said modestly, though clearly pleased.

The gravity room was promptly stored in a capsule for portability.

Before leaving, Krillin asked, "Do you still have a Dragon Radar lying around?"

Dr. Brief nodded. "I think there's a spare. Hold on."

A moment later, he returned with the radar. "Here you go."

"Thanks, Doctor!" Krillin said, tucking the radar into his bag before taking off into the sky.

With the gravity room and radar in hand, it's time to put my plans into motion.
