Dungeon Architect: Rebuilding the God's game

Chapter 21: Results of Fear

At this moment Seth remembered he had visitors in his apartment, and while renovation was ongoing, they could've been startled.

His head quickly shifted towards the direction of Alex's room.

The fear of having to explain this situation to the redhead.

He swiftly disembarked from his original direction and headed towards them.

Shortly after, he stormed into the room and saw a rather calm family dinner, which he had just interrupted.

He looked around warily, but surprisingly enough, there was not an atom of noticeable change.

Malia stood in a defensive position in front of Alex with two short knives in her hands staring at Seth.

Seth didn't realize the situation but instead asked

"Are you okay? Did you feel or notice anything?"

A question was directed at Alex, but Malia was insistent on the speaking stranger not getting any closer, so she asked in a calm tone.

"Who are you and how did you get here?"

'Huh!'

At this point, Seth realized he didn't have his disguise in, neither did he have the summons with him.

Though he could probably call them on a whim, if she threatened him, the thought of the redhead sister of hers sent chills down his spine.

"Aish, Seth you're so stupid "

He berated himself stupidly in front of them.

"I apologize for interrupting your dinner, I only came to .... Uh check on you

The dungeon went through some renovations and changes so I thought, there were any altercations of problems here"

Malia, still looking at him, didn't say much, but Alex popped his head by the side and raised an eyebrow while contemplating his statement.

The tension was still in the air as suspicion hovered in Malia's eyes.

'She is probably thinking the dungeon is not safe and that anyone can come and threaten them anytime,' Seth thought.

"By the way I am the dungeon Ma...Nager" Seth said

Eyebrows were raised again.

'Fuck, Seth maintains your cool, stop being stupid,' Seth thought.

"You know, like the person the dungeon puts in charge of handling its ...activities, kind of " Seth elaborated

"Like the dungeon master," Malia finally said

"Yes, I mean No. I mean not exactly, but not the dungeon master"

"Then who's the dungeon master, and why would they send you?" Malia asked

"I'm sorry, I do not have the answers to your questions. And since I can see that everything is all right, I'll take my leave"

Seth turned around with a smile and gave them his back as his demeanor changed

'Acting on fear, all because I fear the redhead rampage, I made a big mistake, I normally wouldn't.

Who wouldn't, though? I don't want to be in this situation for long.

I need to do something about this

Seth thought as he walked away dwelling in thoughts.

'Why didn't the system notify me of the redhead intrusion, and how often is this going to happen? Are there more people like the redhead?

I need strength but I need information more

The thought of trying to get information out of his potential hostages crossed his mind, but again, it seemed to be a wild thought.

A volatile option that might be perceived as harmful or rebellious.

No, those thoughts are only because of the power difference and information gap.

He decided to leave that to chance.

Besides, they now typically live in his apartment, and earlier on, where the hell did all that furniture and household equipment come from?

In his head that was never possible with technology.

They didn't even have backpacks.

Meanwhile, in the room he had just left, Malia approached the door slowly and closed it silently before turning to her brother.

And the first thing that came out of her mouth

"There's something fishy about him."

"Is that women's perception or magic perception?" Alex asked

"Both"

Alex was a cocky kid when comfortable so she understood that much.

"He was probably just flustered by your beauty like other men as usual and to you, there's something fishy about every male as usual"

"I'm not always wrong, it's an adult thing"

"You're not always right either, and it's not an adult thing, it's a gender something "

"We're not having this conversation, let us go back to dinner"

Alex looked around the four corners of the walls they were in, which had now transformed into a living home for them and asked.

"Do you notice anything strange?"

"Hmm, No, what is it?"

"Nevermind, it's probably nothing "

Alex, due to his being loved by Mana's illness, noticed the little changes of Mana in the air and the walls.

It would be more accurate to say he was sensitive to Mana.

But since his sister didn't sense much, he would've let it go, but then he remembered why Seth barged in.

'It seems like he wasn't lying then, the dungeon must have gone through a development but not enough for a breakthrough.'

He looked towards the door but decided to not dwell much on it.

'There'll be an opportunity later' he thought

Meanwhile in a dense forest.

A redhead was running through the forest; she seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere, mumbling words like.

"Stupid guild, stupid guards, stupid adventurers, stupid mercenaries; if not for them delaying me, I'd have been home already, and it would have been easier to make preparations from there.

But not only do I have to now hear from them because I trespassed on a dungeon but I am also to go to the capital for due punishments

How did they even know where I was? I made sure to keep my tracks hidden

Alex and Malia, it seems I'll have to delay a little; please just hang on.

I'll get this done as quickly as possible"

Soon, she stopped while panting to catch her breath and, in anger, kicked up a fuss again; she had been leaping from tree to tree for hours now.

But the consequences of a certain stupid someone kidnapping her loving brother and forcing her entry into a lower dungeon.

It all made her kick up an even more tantrum.

She looked like a child rebelling after being scolded.
