While Ken and Suzaku were talking, Tiamat who was beside Ken whispered something in his ear.

"Dear, it looks like someone is watching us."

Hearing this, Ken raised one eyebrow, before turning his head to look in a certain direction and narrowing his eyes.

"What's wrong?" Suzaku asked in a small voice.

Seeing Ken's suddenly strange demeanor, Suzaku knew something must be wrong and immediately asked in a small voice.

"Just someone who doesn't have a job, even they try to do something useless in their spare time." Ken replied.

Ken waved his hand casually and turned around.

"AAAHHH!"

A scream was heard followed by the figure of a person flying upwards from behind the bushes, before finally landing hard right in front of Ken.

"Eh? tobio?" Suzaku said in surprise.

Suzaku was surprised when she saw a young man who suddenly fell in front of her.

Beside the young man could also be seen a large black dog with red eyes, which clearly looked different from the appearance of a typical dog.

Looking at the person in front of him, Ken smiled meaningfully as he immediately recognized who this young man was.

Tobio Ikuse, otherwise known as SlashD∅G.

Tobio was an eighteen-year-old high school student with black hair and pale gray eyes.

Tobio wore formal or casual clothes which were his main attire.

Meanwhile, as for the big black dog itself, it is actually an independent Avatar form released from Longinus [Canis Lykaon], also known as Inugami Of The Black Blade, which is currently used by Tobio Ikuse.

A little information about Jin to get to know his powers and abilities.

In the beginning, Jin was just a black puppy with a sword on his forehead and had the ability to generate a sword from himself, can even attack with it, and he also turned into a sword.

This sword born from Ame-No-Ohabari, who killed Hinokagutsuchi, is able to split Gods and Buddhas, in addition to cutting concepts, such as techniques and magic.

Even as a child, Jin had physical abilities that allowed him to move at high speed like a bullet.

At some point, after Tobio used Balance Breaker, Jin turned into an adult dog who was unable to grow a sword from himself and instead grew one from his shadow.

He also shows the ability to generate shadows from around himself, being able to make the entire area dark from his small body, so that he can release the blade, spreading across the area.

Jin is able to coordinate and fight alongside Tobio, defeating their opponents using teamwork and swordsmanship.

In response to the user's emotions, Tobio can awaken the darkness-based power Canis Lykaon, which allows Jin to move through shadows and sprout a black sword from within Tobio's field of vision during battle.

He can cover himself and his scythe in a dark aura, damaging and paralyzing his enemies.

(Tobio's Balance Breaker)

The [Night Celestial Slash Dogs], also known as the [Mad Black Dog of the Glowing Night Sky], is a Canis Lykaon Balance Breaker that Tobio awakened at birth.

In this state, Tobio turns into a Humanoid black dog with six tails using darkness and the Jin turns into a large black Dog.

When Tobio heard Suzaku's voice, he quickly got up and straightened his posture.

Tobio had a red face and felt very embarrassed at this moment.

But since it had come to this, Tobio could only pretend like nothing had happened and look at Ken.

"Who are you?" Tobio asked briefly.

"Hm? Oh! Good dog~! come here I want to pet your head." Ken spoke in a cheerful tone of voice and completely ignored Tobio who was in front of him.

After saying that, Ken stretched his hand forward to place it on the big dog's head.

But what happened next made the people present there change their expressions.

*Bite!

The huge black dog opened its jaws and viciously bit Ken's hand to the limit of his wrist.

The faces of everyone present there darkened when this happened.

Ken still had the same expression, not even the slightest twitch in his facial muscles.

The next second, everyone there, including Ken, heard a loud laugh from a silver-haired boy.

Looking at the boy, the corner of Ken's mouth finally suddenly twitched.

The silver-haired brat with ice-blue eyes that were often seen framed in bright navy blue was Vali Lucifer.

In his current appearance, Vali looked to be thirteen to fourteen years old.

Given that the plot of DxD takes place three years later, Vali, Suzaku, Tobio and the other members of SlashD∅G are currently one year older than their original versions, when they appeared for the first time in their original series that only focused on telling the story of SlashD∅G.

For example, in the original records, Vali was mentioned to be twelve to thirteen years old when he appeared for the first time, while Tobio was seventeen.

But here, they are one year older than their supposed age.

That's because over the past year, SlashD∅G's plot with its members had continued as it should.

Given that Ken didn't interfere by coming early and meeting them, so that one year has passed without being explained in detail here.

When Ken wanted to open his mouth to scold the smelly boy, a surprised and familiar-sounding woman's voice reached his ears.

"Ken-kun! Is that you?"

Ken used his gentle expression and looked back only to be shown a very beautiful young woman with a voluptuous slim figure with long blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes.

Her body measurements were [B98-W58-H87].

Looking at her overall figure, Ken smiled gently and said in his heart.

'Un, this little girl has changed and grown into a beautiful woman, although I'm sure they haven't grown fully for now, but in the future those figures will definitely change.'

Yes, this plump and voluptuous young woman was Lavinia Reni.

Lavinia Reni was a Magician from the Grauzauberer organization of the witch association and a member of Team SLASHD∅G who possessed the Longinus [Absolute Demise].

In keeping with her status as a magician, she wears a magician's robe with a cloak and a pointed magician's hat.

Due to her status as the owner of the Sacred Gear [Absolute Demise], which is also known as one of the original thirteen Longinus created by God Of The Bible, Lavinia is nicknamed Demise Girl and Ice Princess.

Absolute Demise, known as the Eternal Ice Princess, was listed as one of the thirteen Longinus, abnormal Sacred Gear that could even overthrow gods.

The Absolute Demise created a doll made of ice that looks like a 10-meter-tall woman in a dress.

It has the ability to freeze areas on a large scale, and has a huge ice-based ability that is strong enough to fight the holy fire of the Incinerate Anthem, which is considered one of the three holy relics along with the True Longinus (Holy Spear) and Sephiroth Graal (Holy Grail).

The ice doll can also create ice pillars and spears.

Seeing the man in front of her who she hadn't seen in a long time, Lavinia Reni couldn't contain her excitement and threw her body towards Ken who opened both his hands to catch Lavinia.

"Haha, looks like someone really missed me~" Ken said and teased her.

Lavinia just nodded her head which was now immersed in Ken's neck, before Lavinia tightened her arms to hug Ken tighter.

On the other hand, Ken glanced to the side to see out of the corner of his eye and found Vali's grim expression.

Ken pulled the corners of his mouth cruelly and put on a "Smug Face" towards Vali.

"Heh~!"

Seeing Ken's smug expression, the little Vali gritted his teeth and looked at Ken with a fierce gaze.

Although from Ken's current point of view Vali didn't look scary but rather looked cute and Ken was amused at this smelly boy's expression.

"Ahem!" Suzaku cleared her throat.

Ken chuckled and released his embrace with Lavinia, with the latter looking reluctant to part from Ken.

"Tobio, this man is Azazel-san's friend, he is Ken. and Ken, this is Tobio, my second cousin." Suzaku said to introduce Ken and Tobio to each other.

"Yo! Nice to meet you." Ken said and extended his hand.

"Uhh... yeah, nice to meet you too." Tobio replied and extended his hand to shake hands with Ken.

When Tobio saw Ken who had completely ignored him at first and now turned very friendly to him, Tobio wasn't sure how to respond to the man.

"And this little guy must be Vali Lucifer, right?" Ken asked while bringing his hand to place it on Vali's head.

But when Vali saw what Ken was trying to do, Vali quickly dismissed Ken's hand and dodged to the side.

"Va-kun! You can't be like that." Lavinia scolded him gently and pulled the silver-haired boy's ear.

"Haha, it's okay Lavinia, Vali is still a kid." Ken laughed and said to Lavinia while looking at Vali with a mocking look and a smirk on his face.

"Where are the rest of your team?" Ken turned to the side and asked Tobio.

"Hm? They were left behind, it looks like they're still in the dormitory." Tobio replied.

"Oh, that's too bad." Ken said and shook his head.

"Hey, Jin! I have boiled chicken tenderloin here, do you want it?" Ken suddenly said.

Seeing this, Tobio felt strange about how Ken knew his "Partner's" name, but Tobio assumed it was probably someone, like Suzaku, Lavinia or even Azazel who told him this information.

Ken suddenly took out a kilo of boiled chicken tenderloin that appeared out of nowhere and extended his hand to feed the big black dog.

But in the next second, Suzaku, Tiamat, Tobio and Vali felt a sense of Deja Vu.

Bite!

Jin opened his mouth wide and viciously bit Ken's hand again for the second time.

Instantly Tobio's face darkened as he saw his partner bite the man's hand again.

Tiamat and Suzaku had the same expression as Tobio, while Vali again laughed loudly.

Lavinia gave a normal response, covering her mouth with her hand and a surprised look on her face.

"Hahaha! You're such a good dog!" Ken laughed loudly and patted Jin's head with his other hand.

But seeing that the first bite didn't give Ken any injuries, Tobio and Suzaku thought that Ken wasn't a "normal person".

While Vali thought that the man was indeed quite impressive, having been bitten once with no injuries, now being bitten twice and still no injuries.

Lavinia on the other hand quickly approached Ken whose hand was still in Jin's mouth and being bitten.

"Jin, let go! Don't be naughty like this!" Lavinia scolded the big dog.

Ken who saw this from the side chuckled.

Ken could have pulled his hand out, but if he did that, he doubted if the dog's jaws and teeth would still be fine against his brute strength.

After Lavinia scolded and coaxed the big dog to release his bite, Jin reluctantly opened his mouth and released his bite.

Ken smiled and patted Jin's head gently, which made the big dog resent being treated like this.

Considering he was thrown up and down in the first place, Jin certainly wasn't going to be polite to the man who threw him and Tobio into the sky.

As for how Jin knew that it was Ken... well, it could be said that his instincts told him.
