Encounters Out There

Several millennia after Voyager probes traveled through deep space, an alien starship arrived and sent a message:

"Earthlings, we come from another solar system. Our planet exists in the same habitable zone, and we, too, evolved as humans. We've received your information and bring to you a wondrous gift—a device we invented capable of manufacturing nearly anything instantly, abundantly, and efficiently!"

Earth replied:

"Visitors, we too shall bring a wondrous gift ..."

An Earth rocket launched and docked to the starship. Once the starship's bay doors opened, a post-singularity-AI swarm took over, then set forth to the alien homeworld.
